Wrapped in layers of provocation and sarcasm, character assassination is often the go-to tactic for intellectual snobs—if my intuition serves me right. 🤔

How do I stop biting my nails? in Psychology ·
I can’t stop biting my nails 🙂
I picked up this habit back when I was just a kid—started during my uncle's era—and it never really let go. It began during football games, then shifted to math exams (honestly, I've bled more from my thumbs over calculus than I care to admit), then through college applications, and now it's the constant pressure of deadlines. Basically, I chew on everything. I can manage to quit briefly once they grow out, but since—for some reason—they actually look decent for a while, I hate ruining them. Unless I'm waiting on exam results, in which case, all bets are off.
How did you guys find this movie? in Movies ·
Laura Jones18 said:A quick question for all the cinephiles out there 🙂 When was it that you truly fell in love with cinema—I mean, when did you start seeking out the classics, or when did you finally make the jump to those deeply complex, layered works?

Basically, I’m curious about what specifically drew you in and at what point in your life that shift happened 🙂

My parents took me to Madison Square Garden to see "Schindler's List" right after its release. I was about five—give or take. It shook me, certainly, but it left a lasting impression.
After that, I was glued to the TV every night. Back then, they used to run those popular "movie night with..." segments on PBS. 😍 (Ah, memories from back when PBS was actually in its prime.) Following that phase, I became a regular at our local video rental store, and that's where the obsession really took root. Film was my first real love.

A bit irritating—those high frequencies tend to "clip" the audio out of nowhere.

It encourages creative work.
The volatility is getting a bit much for me.

It’s soothing for a moment—until the fruit comes along and ruins everything.
9. Sleep-inducing.
10. Sounds fair enough. 🙂
Best movies from America since 1990? in Movies ·

Exactly. Personally, I can't stand Matanić and his dry attempts at using aggression as a crutch in certain scenes.🙂
However, "How the War Started on My Island" and "Marshal" aren't bad. I'm looking forward to the production of "Miracle in Poskok Drag"—hopefully they'll make a film based on the book.🙂
