I honestly worry that every time these massive organizations talk about "growth" or "new funding streams," the actual fans and the spirit of the sport end up losing. It feels like we're slowly turning everything into a giant corporate playground. Does anyone else feel like the commercialization is reaching a breaking point?

Looks like the battery on my MacBook Pro finally gave up the ghost. It’s draining insanely fast—over 1% per minute even when I'm not doing anything with it.
I tried charging it by just keeping it plugged in since the battery is basically useless now, using a USB-C cable and some Apple phone chargers. I tested every single port. The cables and adapters work fine; they charge my phone without an issue. From what I understand, you don't strictly need the original charger, right?
The laptop should be able to take a charge from them too, but absolutely nothing happens. It’s not even slow charging; there's just zero sign that the laptop recognizes it's connected to a power source at all.
Does anyone know what the deal is here? Is there a setting I missed, or do I actually need to go out and buy a specific charger to get this thing running?

Will Smith has way better movies than this one, which barely had any funny moments for me. Personally, I think the older films are almost always superior. 😁

Looking for some girlfriends here in Washington, D.C. to go for walks, maybe do some photography or picnics, and just chat about anything from psychology and sociology to movies, music, nature, or animals—you name it. 🙂 Who knows, we might even find out we have more in common than we thought.

Sounds harsh, I know, but just a whole lot of unnecessary spending.
At the end of the day, deciding whether or not to resuscitate someone is entirely up to whoever is standing over you, regardless of what those legal papers say. Does anyone actually think paperwork overrides a person's split-second call?

Is anything actually changing around here on that front, or is it still the same old story?

This is exactly what I'm looking for.
