It’s become a bit of a trend in Hollywood lately—casting Black actors in roles originally written for white characters. Apparently, they're taking that same approach with the upcoming Dr. Sleep film.
So, does that officially fall under the category of "blackwashing"?
I went into the theater feeling pretty skeptical—I’d read somewhere that people were comparing it to that crime-focused Catwoman flick, so I figured there was no way this could actually be any good.
But seriously, don't listen to the critics. I have no clue what they were looking for, but this movie is pure entertainment!
Tom Hardy is fantastic—though the supporting cast is a bit bland, there isn't much chemistry between him and Michelle, the villain is just your typical ambitious jerk, and honestly, Venom has more humor than I do, and he's an alien.
I'll admit it's a bit short—it probably needs another 20 minutes or so—and the ending feels rushed and a little confusing, but Hardy mentioned they cut his best scenes, so now I'm dying to know which ones those were.
If you're into Marvel, superheroes, or just some solid entertainment, go check out Venom 🎉
He’s put on some weight again—probably not the best idea to be jumping around like that, but I’m sure he’s got experts looking after him.
The resemblance is actually wild, though—really impressive!
And yeah... this definitely smells like an Oscar contender in several categories.
Alright... So, can we do this in Madrid?
It’s doable
Hey there!
Is it possible to change my username to Maya?

I think that's a real possibility.
It’s such a shame, too—Jennifer seems so motivated in this one.

Wait, what on earth does it mean when this little colorful icon stays on my screen???
I absolutely love that intense look he gives 😍

Totally agree—they're my absolute favorites. I could probably watch them 10,000 times and never get bored... especially with Gibson in his prime.😍
I really love this one—it’s my little emotional outlet. I just adore how the movie explores that deep connection between a man and a woman; it asks how much you'd actually sacrifice for the person you love, even beyond death.
Then there was that silly, sentimental moment at the theater—it was actually the last screening at our local cinema in Chicago, and there were just four of us there, two couples. When the credits rolled, my girlfriend and I caught each other's eyes—we were both a total mess, eyes all swollen from crying, and we couldn't even hide it—while the other couple just rolled their eyes at us. 😁
So, yeah... I could watch this over and over again.
