Honestly, things could get pretty interesting if the Democratic Party—or even someone else from that whole crowd—actually stepped up with a real contender. I mean, just imagine who would end up facing off against the candidate from that criminal organization in a runoff election...
I ended up making this burner account because I got slapped with a three-week ban just for calling out TT—honestly, I couldn't help myself—so I figured, why not just lean into the joke? Not that it matters much now, though; everything actually got sorted out a few months back.
Look, I don't care what they decide, just please—don't go banning me or scrubbing my posts every time I decide to be a little critical regarding sv. TT 😉 Honestly, acting like that just pushes me away from the whole group ;-)
Richard Wilson4 said:Now we know why he was taking those roles lately. We’re going to remember him as an action icon and just a total legend.
Wishing him all the best with his health.
Matthew Johnson30 said:He was basically doing those movies because they were so bad you wouldn't watch them even if you were high. Jack Nicholson knew when to step away—I still think of him as an actor who wrapped up his career with real dignity and class. It’s heartbreaking to hear about his situation; there’s honestly nothing worse than losing grip on your own mind.
I haven't really kept up with his recent stuff—to be honest, I feel like I got stuck in the 70s, 80s, and 90s—but even I noticed those newer movies were pretty questionable in terms of quality. And speaking of which, I feel like Robert De Niro has definitely taken a bit of a dip in the last 15 years or so. I mean, I just remember that one movie that kept popping up on TV with Zac Efron (or whoever that kid was). It just didn't sit right with me. And I think there were a handful of other movies at that same level.
You just can't take an entire political party—the very one that built this country—and drag its whole reputation through the mud just because of a few mistakes here and there. Honestly, if you're looking for some documentary that tries to pin all the blame on today's leadership at the Republican Party—who, let's be real, we already know are doing a pretty spotless job—well, I wouldn't bother watching 😁
I was actually just thinking about this exact thing when I saw the news break. Some people love to claim you can't get a decent signal out in the woods, but apparently, there's plenty of reception in that thicket of advisors surrounding the Office of Personnel Management.
That’s exactly why I put that in parentheses—I wasn't trying to pick a fight with the mods. I was just venting because my actual, decent posts kept getting nuked from orbit. But fine, I hear you. I’ll try to steer clear of the whole Trump topic since, apparently, we aren't allowed to say anything here unless it’s basically a fan club tribute to his every move.
Forget about the clone—that thing was clearly just a joke. What I actually want to know is why my posts keep getting nuked in that thread about the Saints—and I’m not even talking about any moderator intervention here. It feels like the trolls from some radical activist group can spend days straight just poisoning the well in those threads without anyone lifting a finger.
So, this is actually the third time I’ve tried starting a thread just to get some clarity on why my perfectly normal posts keep getting wiped from the PDF Politics board—specifically regarding the TT topic. And then, to top it all off, I got banned. I’m really hoping someone in a position of authority can take a look and give me an answer here.
I don’t even bother following too much news about the Coronavirus lately—honestly, both sides just end up getting on my nerves eventually.
Regarding TT, I don't really have a strong opinion one way or the other (though I don't think he's some villain like the Republican Party). I did mention before that I think his biggest headache is going to be staffing—he just doesn't have a massive pool of people to pull from. It seems like there are plenty of members or supporters tied to the Zlocinacka crowd, and honestly, a lot of people don't even want to touch the mess currently facing New York City—which, let's face it, is just the fallout from all that corruption involving Bandic and the Republican Party. On the flip side, I've posted some total troll comments on other topics that didn't get flagged, yet these ones did. That's the mystery to me—if they're going to delete stuff, they should just go ahead and clear out everything that isn't strictly by the book, right?
It’s like you aren't allowed to say anything unless it fits perfectly into the official narrative. You can't even question things regarding the Coronavirus or Twitter without someone breathing down your neck—we all have to march in lockstep, I guess. Honestly, it’s been driving me crazy lately because my posts in the political threads about Tomasevic just keep vanishing. And look, I wasn't even being critical of him—I mean, I don't really care enough about him to bother since I don't live in a major hub like New York or Chicago—I was just sharing my own two cents.
They actually went ahead and wiped out my comment where I was saying I totally agreed with the first part of what @kvasteriksa wrote—I was just trying to add some extra food for thought of my own. I wasn't out there insulting Eric Adams or anyone else, for crying out loud.
The Republican Party just grabs every single opportunity to push their own agenda and pocket whatever they can get their hands on. It's as simple as that.
I honestly don't know how you guys deal with arguing against that Republican Party troll on a daily basis. It’s exhausting. I mean, just look back at that whole mess when Gabrielle Žalac—that total Republican Party powerhouse—basically ran over some girl who didn't even have a valid driver's license, and listen to how he tried to defend her.
Man, you guys are just so incredibly bitter. If you actually bothered to visit a small town out in the Midwest, you’d find plenty of locals who would have nothing but glowing praise for their mayor. You'd hear all sorts of excuses along the lines of, "Well, he took a little extra, but he earned it," or some other nonsense like that.
The Ministry is refusing to disclose how much they spent flying those young Republican staffers out to see the Golden Gate Bridge
I mean, if you're a hardworking employee going on a well-deserved trip—which might just turn into an extended weekend, let's be honest—you shouldn't have to sit there and justify your travel expenses to some random official 🤔. It’s just common sense, really .
