The thing is, if you’re out of work, you can't just pack your bags and head out on a whim because everything has a price tag attached to it. Most people are basically stuck in survival mode, just trying to scrape by on government assistance...
It's especially brutal right now since the tourism and construction industries are hitting such a massive slump, making it incredibly tough to find a decent job anywhere.

When a chunk of the workforce decides to pack up and leave, you’re left with two groups: the elite few who actually know their stuff, and the massive majority of underperformers who are now getting paid top dollar for mediocre work...
It’s basically a lose-lose situation for everyone involved. Finding a truly skilled pro is like finding a needle in a haystack, yet these low-tier workers end up causing way more headaches than they’re worth, leaving you to foot the bill for all the mistakes they make.

At the end of the day, this whole brain drain hasn't exactly been a win for us...

I don't exactly walk away with a glowing impression of this party's members. You've got one guy spinning blatant lies, another who gets tongue-tied trying to count to five, and a third who practically loses it the second things get even slightly shaky in the country.

He used to be part of that Republican Party youth crowd, and they were all dangling positions in front of him, promising him the world, but he never actually bit. At the time, he wasn't some big household name, but since that famous inner circle was basically just a bunch of nobodies, people actually gave him their votes, and look at him now!
To me, he’s the ultimate success story for someone coming up through the Republican Party ranks—unlike these little opportunists who don't have an ounce of courage to actually move on and make their own way.

The thing is, there are still plenty of folks out there working full-time jobs with responsibilities who simply can't make it to the store before 5:00 PM...
I remember one time I was hunting for a specific M6 bolt; I ended up wasting a ton of time and gas just trying to track down a single hardware store that was actually open... a task that should have taken maybe 15 minutes tops...

If you ask me, stores should be open 24/7 if it makes sense for their bottom line and if they're playing by the rules regarding staff wages and taxes.

Honestly, people shouldn't be acting so surprised by this. This kind of hiring process is just standard operating procedure... every major city has various administrative roles that get split up among those in power, and everyone gets their slice of the pie 🙂

The Republican Party had a real win going, but then one of their own members goes and screws it up. But let's be real: you find characters like this in every single office, regardless of which political party they belong to. The term "cronyism" didn't just pop out of thin air for no reason

What really fascinates me, though, is the fact that someone can land a job and just coast through it for years, despite clearly having to put in a decent amount of effort just to learn the basics of the role
I get that these people have layers of protection; even if someone like this gets booted, they’ll probably just be shuffled into some other position somewhere else anyway
