Honestly, I found the movie pretty dull. The Rock just doesn't work in this role, especially when they try to force that romantic subplot with Emily. Plus, it's a Disney flick, so you know the guy is just there for filler and adds nothing to the story, but hey, that's how it goes.
Last question, I promise. 😁 I just ordered my PC, but then it hit me—what if instead of getting both an SSD and an HDD, I just shell out a bit more for a single 1TB SSD? Is it actually worth dropping an extra $500-$200 on the SSD? Would I notice a massive difference in game loading times and everything else?
I was actually thinking about the gtx 1660 super, the one Smartik posted. I think I'll stick with the R5 1600 for now just to save some cash. 😁In a few years, I can always upgrade if I need to. Oh, good call on reminding me. I'm in no rush, so maybe I'll wait for a sale—though I don't want to miss out on parts, like how those graphics cards vanished from Newegg yesterday.
Anyway, thanks so much for all the help, both you and everyone else here. 👍 I am seriously stoked for this new build. For the last five years, I've basically been stuck playing nothing but League. 🤣
I think I'll just grab the RTX 3060 then. The RTX models at Best Buy were totally wiped out today—someone must have snagged the last one or something. As for the CPU, do you really think it’s worth it? Spending an extra 800-$300 feels like I'd be going broke before my next paycheck hits.😁
btw, how does the whole Windows installation process work? Like, if I grab a license from eBay and get a download link... how am I supposed to actually download it if there's no Windows on the new PC yet?
sorry if that sounds like a dumb question 😁
edit: oh, I just saw that Microsoft has a media tool. So you can just download everything on another PC, put it on a USB drive, and then install Windows on the new one...?
Hey everyone, I’m looking to pick up a new PC after about 8 years. It's definitely time for an upgrade. I'm aiming to spend around $1667, though if there's a specific build that offers a massive jump in performance, I could go as high as $2000. Thanks!
I was hoping to catch it at the theater, but the idiots sitting near me kept scheduling everything around 2 or 3 in the afternoon just because they think it's a "kids movie."
I have no idea what the hell is going on, but my internet just dies in Chrome the second I log into Gmail. Everything else works fine, it's just Chrome that cuts out. I can't find anyone online dealing with this, has this happened to anyone else?
I read the book earlier this year and really thought it would make a great movie. But then John Cusack mentioned they cut both him and Stephen King out of the production, so... I don't know. I guess they think they're happy with how it turned out now. 🤷
He’s mentioned in several interviews that he was crushing 7,000 calories a day for three months, followed by nine straight months of intense bulking. He admitted it gets emotional thinking about everything he had to give up and those days when he just wanted to go back to eating and drinking normally. 😁
Has nobody actually seen this movie yet? 🤷 The box office numbers aren't exactly booming either—it’s only been out for a week, but still, what a shame. I was really hyped for this one after watching so many interviews with the cast. The lead is great, and Margot is just... wow. 😍 Like people said, it’s not your typical story. There's a lot going on with politics, slavery, and animal trafficking. Alexander something and Margot Robbie were fantastic together. He plays such a brute, and I loved how much more serious his version of Tarzan was. The animal scenes were top-notch, and the scenery of the American wilderness looked incredible.
