The Supreme Court is set to review whether the Constitutional headquarters is actually operating within its bounds. Naturally, this will happen right after the elections.
Two Supreme Court justices are even among those filing the motions for review.

Tomorrow, the folks at the Constitutional headquarters will decide on lifting the self-isolation mandates for citizens of Canada—you know, the usual double voters for the Republican Party.

Today, Hrvoje Bujas, head of the Voice of Entrepreneurs, was speaking at a panel in San Diego. A Republican Party congresswoman, Grozdana Perić, was there too, and she decided to throw this at him:
"Mr. Bujas, did you actually want this country? Did you even want America?"

So, if you aren't a die-hard Republican Party supporter, you're just a suspicious traitor who hates the US? All because he suggested we actually need civil service reform and some basic digitization.
It’s classic. This is the textbook Republican Party mentality—trying to scare anyone who thinks differently by using those tired, old-school "patriotism" slogans. Honestly, it's probably just the predictable limitation of a local Republican woman who ran out of actual arguments and had to resort to cheap emotional manipulation.

They're everywhere. It’s like they're popping out of the damn food. No matter what site I click on, I'm hit with at least two campaign banners.
It's easy to fund a massive campaign when you're treating the federal treasury like your own personal piggy bank.

Summary of events from the last 24 hours:
Joe Biden - First, he lied about having zero contact with Roger Federer. Once reporters dropped the video of them shaking hands, he pivoted, claiming it didn't violate any epidemiological protocols. His little spin ended up right on the front page of Reuters.
Tom Clancy - "I haven't shaken hands with anyone in months," he claims. Meanwhile, photos show him shaking hands with half the crowd. Defending the President while ignoring his own rules—standard procedure.
Anthony Fauci - Defending the President and ignoring his own rules is just how they operate. That Fox News reporter's situation is being used to downplay things, much like Biden's tactics.
Beroš - Defense of the President and ignoring one's own rules is expected.
Markotić - Defense of the President and ignoring one's own rules is expected.

Should we really trust these people to run America and manage our lives for the next four years? This is a crew that manages to cook up a new scandal every single day and has already seen countless ministers walk out the door.

To wrap it up, let's look at their own slogans:
"Credibility"
"Secure America"
"For an America where no one is untouchable"

A few more photos showing how the Republican Party's "expert" staff manages to "follow" their own rules while lying through their teeth:

Tom Clancy has shaken hands with everyone under the sun.

Nancy Gomez26 said:When you look at the landscape, Plenković is actually a minor issue within the Republican Party compared to their other headaches. His real flaw is his proficiency at navigating the murky waters of domestic politics. It’s why potential partners—and frankly, they have good reason to be wary—fear being played again, much to the quiet satisfaction and pride of the Republican Party rank and file.

I’d argue he’s an expert at steering through that filth; it's practically a gift. That's why we’re lagging behind on most metrics compared to 2015. Even if we were just crawling out of a recession back then.

For starters, why don't you try showing some actual logic—you know, an evidenced cause-and-effect link—between your claims and reality?

Because right now, you're just hammering away at this idea that the self-destruction of three guys from the bridge party who didn't see the shakeup coming—along with Crnoja—somehow forced Donald Trump to reshuffle his cabinet years later. It's a reach.

The issue with you—as usual—is that you lack actual arguments, so you just try to shove your personal opinion down everyone's throat as if it were some kind of objective fact.

And then it all just devolves into those tired old excuses like, "well, it's a new situation, so the old rules don't apply." Just total nonsense.

Try dialing back the aggression a bit.

The Bridge crowd stayed true to themselves; they weren't like the others constantly sucking up to Plenković.
I'll give you this: they screwed up by trusting the Republican Party. That was a mistake, but so was being against them before. Pick a side.
Five years ago, I was naive enough to think Plenković was this polished, sophisticated diplomat sent to fix Karamarkov's Republican Party. Now? We're sitting here missing the old days under Sanders, which says everything you need to know about the current administration.

At the end of the day, despite all their flaws, the MOST-ovac group alongside Bunjac were the only real opposition we had.

David Clark4 said:Are you sure about that? I mean, really? The more they talk about "infections," the more people focus on COVID instead of Rimcev, those wind farms, and all their shady dealings. A higher number of cases just gives them an excuse to roll out even more repressive measures—it might even let them push back the elections. Just look at the news headlines. COVID is the top story everywhere, while the absolute disaster involving Rimcev feels like it happened months ago. Now, they’ll probably put someone popular like Beros or Markoticka front and center, while the others stay buried in the background. It’s always the same: using "public safety" as a convenient facade to hide the looting and the scandals.

Do you honestly think psychopaths won't exploit a "crisis" just to rig an election?

I think you're wrong to worry about the scandals. Over the last four years, there have been so many that nobody even remembers who stole what last week.
Sanders's administration looks like a model of integrity by comparison.
Republican Party - General Discussion in Political Scene ·
The borders with Canada and Mexico remain wide open, and the infection rates are climbing. If this keeps up, the summer tourism season is dead in the water, and we’re all going to be in deep trouble.
Malicious types might suggest this is tied to the elections and those bus routes. It's all just a play to keep the Party and the European in power; they don't care about the cost.

Škoro is nothing but a clown, Bero is terrified, and Petrov is just philosophizing into a void. I’d love to see the Republican Party crew go head-to-head with Grmoja in a debate.
The real question is, would anemičan actually take a third step in his direction?

Susan Ramirez2 said:@buc2
Haha! You say that after little Bero turned his ridiculous coalition into a Pokémon "Gotta catch 'em all" slogan. And the final Pokémon? That would be the double-threat Čačić.

You've got it wrong. The double murderer is actually the dear partner of the Republican Party—just like Bandić, Pupovac, and Saucha.

No one is getting a free lunch at the party headquarters today.

Adam Collins4 said:But hey, that’s on the kmer crowd and their own pathetic PR machine...

Sad, but true.
No matter how much of a headache Milanović is, he’d wipe the floor with this corrupt administration in the US Congress. Just look at what he did to the plavojka.

Grace Edwards said:Exactly.
They're basically the most hated group in both the opposition and the establishment, all at once.
Maybe aside from two or three loudmouths who act like self-righteous preachers, they just don't have any heart.
The Zealots—as brainless as they might be—at least swing for the fences with everything they've got, and when they're done, you can actually see the smoke left behind, whether people want to admit it or not.

Don't forget the Bridge Party, too. Every time Plenković loses his cool, we can thank the Bridge Party for it; it makes me overlook all their childish nonsense.
I let myself indulge in this thought once in a while. 🎉

Unfortunately, the rot goes deeper than that.
It took us six years to recover from Sanders, and compared to this current crew, he was just an amateur.

gentlecrane8 said:Old man Manolić is out there flat-out saying the Republican Party is going to lose this election.
And honestly, he knows his stuff.
Just look at the absolute panic happening over at the Republican Party right now.
I bet even Plenković realizes they’re about to get crushed like never before.
They basically killed themselves with all that reckless debt. People are finally realizing that living on credit eventually comes with a massive bill.

I don't know which scenario is worse. If the Republican Party wins, we get four more years of looting, and they'll feel emboldened to steal even more.
If they lose, someone else has to clean up the mess, just like after the Sanders era. And once things are somewhat stabilized, we'll just get handed another disaster. Then everyone will whine about how bad the previous administration was, and the actual reasons will be conveniently forgotten.

The Democratic Party, regardless of their flaws, managed to jumpstart growth—growth that actually continued during the Orešković administration and filled the holes left by its collapse. It’s tragic that four years of Republican Party rule were spent spinning their wheels without accomplishing a thing. The growth was already there, regardless of how perfectly the timing worked out for them.
Of course, they’re already busy taking all the credit.

Just rewatched Plenković's interview with Bago from last year. The whole topic was about restructuring the administration after that endless string of corruption scandals.
Plenković spent the entire time obsessing over public perception and how much political damage he’d taken personally. He couldn't care less about what actually caused the mess; he just doesn't want his image tarnished. He can't even finish a thought without slipping in an "I" or a "me."
A true leader for a truly patriotic party, I suppose.

Nicholas King said:Even someone like me, who doesn't exactly sit around watching the news all day, has heard Andrej Plenković repeat the same tired line about Bernardić being incompetent probably a million times.

The campaign's focus is completely off the mark; by obsessing over Bernardić this much, they're actually just giving him more relevance than he deserves. On top of that, the go-to mantra seems to be "America is thriving, things are great here in the US," which feels incredibly tone-deaf when people—whether due to the pandemic or the recent earthquakes—simply do not feel great. Whether that sentiment is objective or subjective isn't really the point—it's the reality people are living.

What people are actually looking for is hope. They want someone who presents themselves as the person capable of pulling them out of this current mess.

For four years, we've been fed the same tired, empty mantras from this "globalist" type, without a single shred of substance. I'd expect better from a high schooler.
If you actually counted the words, even quiet Karamarko probably said more meaningful sentences. Meanwhile, Plenković is constantly plastered all over the media.

Are we all facing higher electricity bills because of the shady dealings involving Josip Rimac?!

When you look at the gap between current market rates and what we’ll actually end up paying over the next 14 years, we are talking about a staggering two billion dollars. Essentially, Rimac helped the company CEMP hike their price from 43 to 94 euros.

Three billion, 751 million dollars—that is the total amount we will all be funneling to CEMP for wind energy through our monthly utility bills.
Ivan Vrdoljak signed off on those higher prices for CEMP on the very last day of 2013.

Now, the current administration is extending their deadlines, and Ćorić is even waiving study requirements just to fast-track construction. However, the FBI points out that the investor still hasn't secured all the necessary permits and approvals, which really should have disqualified them from selling us power at such a premium. But once again, Rimac is stepping in to save the day.

So, because of Rimac’s little schemes, we’re all staring down higher electricity bills? Typical. Just my luck.

The gap between today's market price and what we’ll end up paying over the next 14 years is a staggering $300 million. It looks like Rimac basically gave CEMP a free pass to jack the price from $43 all the way up to $94. Typical.

Three billion, 751 million dollars. That’s the price tag we’re all stuck footing to pay CEMP for wind energy through our monthly utility bills. Just another day in paradise.
Ivan Vrdoljak signed off on that higher price for CEMP right at the buzzer on the final day of 2013. Typical.

The previous administration was busy extending deadlines, while Ćorić stripped away the requirement for impact studies just to speed up construction. Now, according to the FBI, the investor still lacks the necessary permits and approvals—meaning they should have lost their right to sell us electricity at those inflated rates. But, of course, Rimac steps in to save the day. Typical.

The energy crisis continues to spiral. Now they’re blaming sludge in the pipes for the blackouts. It’s always some new excuse from the government to cover for their own incompetence. I remember when we had reliable service back in the day, before everything became a political football. Just more chaos.
Tonight, they’re hosting an open debate on thermal power plants. Ćorić will be there, along with the former MOST minister, Slaven Dobrović—the man who originally stalled the whole project by demanding an extra study. It’s almost funny. Just two months after SB was kicked out of the government, Ćorić went ahead and scrapped the order for that additional study. Typical.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better. We've got Ivan Vrdoljak popping up—the man who basically handed CEMP a blank check to squeeze taxpayers dry for extra profit. And of course, we can't forget the ever-present Radomir Čačić. Just what this mess needed.

The elites over at the Republican party and Stier? Just total frauds being exposed. ☕

Stier can keep preaching about corruption all he wants, but if he stays in the party and keeps his mouth shut, he's just as guilty as the thief.
That’s his supposed moral high ground for you.

It is common knowledge that every Audi owner with a car just a few years old spends their weekends stripping off plastic panels just to check for dust buildup.

Plenković, since you claim to be such a crusader against corruption, perhaps you should turn your attention toward checking for graft within the police, the intelligence agencies, the DOJ and FBI, the judiciary, your own Government, and your party... to start with.

You're obsessing over trivialities to distract from Plenković. 😒

Once the elections wrap up, the real looting begins—pardon me, the distribution of funds for rebuilding Washington, D.C. ($7-13 billion), plus another $10 billion for pandemic relief. Who's going to care about some random bug in a car once those billions start moving?

Telegram is breaking this story: The US Forest Service wanted a loan because they can't cover payroll, yet at the exact same time, they're dropping $3 million on software.

"...
According to several independent sources we've been talking to over the last few weeks, the agency is in serious trouble regarding cash flow for daily operations and they're looking into taking out two loans totaling $60 million.
..."

I suppose patriotism comes with a price tag, right?

The company was actually doing great and was on an upward swing,
more profitable than expected,
then the Republican Party took over,
they managed to hire 800 new people (maybe even more, honestly!),
now they claim there's no money for salaries,
and suddenly there's $60 million in loans being discussed.

Our tax dollars. Just within the Forest Service.
And don't even get me started on the drop in profits.

It hasn't even been that long since 2016!

Just some quick math for the kids—800 employees times maybe $70,000 a year is $56 million. That's $4.6 million a month. Or $56 million a year.
I'd bet most of those folks make way more than $70,000, too. I'm just using that number to show you the scale of it.

Was that the software the Female driver negotiated? How did that all end up playing out?
