So... yeah, I've finished everything I needed to do. I made a pretty huge mistake in the process, but honestly, I probably shouldn't get into that right now 😁
Anyway, I was at the filming session earlier and dropped off the CD for the doctor. From what she could tell, it looks like I have some really severe sinus inflammation and a deviated septum, or at least that's how she described it. She’s already scheduled an appointment for me with an ENT specialist over in Nashua... so, I guess a surgery is going to be necessary because of all this. I wonder if I'll be able to get some cosmetic work done at the same time as the functional part?
Ah, okay... I guess I'll just take care of it next week then. But seriously, there isn't anything actually written there—it's completely blank, she just signed her name at the bottom 🤷 I mean, I see the options listed as a, b, c, and d, but nothing is circled or filled in, so I'm a bit confused. I'd hate to show up there and end up looking foolish 🤣 Just kidding, I don't know, maybe it's all processed digitally...
Could someone please clarify something for me? I'm feeling a bit lost... I went to see my doctor to explain some issues I've been having with my nose. About two years ago, I took a fall on it, and ever since then, breathing has been a bit difficult. I deal with frequent congestion from mucus, there's a bump right in the middle, and the airflow through the left side is really weak—you can actually see something slimy sitting in the center when looking inside, which is quite bothersome. Every once in a while, I can breathe normally through both sides, though that rarely happens. Because I was so focused on all these other symptoms, I don't think I listened closely enough to what she was saying, but I do remember her mentioning I need an exam for my sinuses and a full nasal evaluation. I'm just not sure where I'm supposed to go for that kind of thing, since this is all brand new to me and I'm unfamiliar with the process. Maybe she did tell me and I just blanked out. Since I live in a smaller town, maybe somewhere like rural Nebraska, I assume I should probably head to a larger city like Omaha or Chicago to get this done? 🤷 Besides that, I was given a referral, but it doesn't actually say anything on it—it's basically blank, aside from a tiny signature at the bottom. I wasn't at the doctor's office for very long, so I'm honestly not sure if there’s supposed to be more information written on there. 😬 Also, I was wondering if I can choose where I have this exam done—like, can I just pick any ENT specialist I want? And how long is this referral valid for? Do I need to schedule the appointment immediately, or is there a time limit? I'm using supplemental insurance for this, so I also wanted to mention that if it's at all possible, I'd be interested in getting both functional and cosmetic surgery done to fix that bump at the same time.
Does anyone happen to know if there's someone in St. Louis who does aesthetic work, or maybe someone in New York? 🙂

Among other things, he "borrowed" quite a few ideas from Apple.

Look, if it wasn't for Microsoft, Apple might not even exist today.
I guess you have to wonder whose money the late Steve Jobs used to pull Apple out of the gutter back in the late nineties? 😉
So, it seems to me that Apple is such a massive, successful, and household name today largely because of Microsoft and the help they provided.

Regarding the news about The Hunger Games, some updates have come out
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=114334

UPDATE: ComingSoon.net has learned that Hoffman's work as Plutarch Heavensbee was substantially complete on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and He Had Seven Days remaining to shoot on The Hunger Games : Mockingjay - Part 2. his death will not affect The films ' release dates of November 21 -> The Hunger Games

We've also received a statement from the studio behind The Hunger Games, Lionsgate:

"Philip Seymour Hoffman was a singular talent and one of the most gifted actors of our generation. We're very Fortunata that He graced Our Hunger Games family. Losing him in his prime is a tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Philip's family."
Did anyone else catch that? I honestly can't believe it wasn't more obvious, but those Polish fans in the stands were basically relentless the entire game whenever we had possession. They were screaming, mocking, chanting—it was almost like they were trying to spit on us. Honestly, all they were missing were laser pointers to make the whole spectacle complete, probably just a desperate attempt to throw our 🙂
off their game. And then, naturally, when the ball was in Polish hands, it was nothing but "POLAND! POLAND!" pure support for their own. I suppose that makes sense for them, but for us, that constant, nasty whistling throughout the entire match was just awful. It felt like it actually ramped up toward the end, especially during that foul on their player where they assumed one of ours did it, even though he didn't.
Anyway, I just wanted to say, it felt incredibly ugly and shameful to me. I was honestly on the verge of just turning off the TV because it was becoming unbearable; it really soured the whole experience for me. (Am I really the only one who found it that obnoxious? 😁). That said, I’m so relieved our guys didn't let it get to them and managed to pull off the win. If anything, it just makes the victory feel sweeter out of pure spite against all that shameless, loud-mouthed 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙂
behavior. I don't recall ever seeing this kind of behavior before, where they cheer against the opponent for the entire duration of the match. Just disgusting.

It really makes me wonder how things will go against Denmark, though I'm sure the arena will be packed to capacity regardless.
Raymond Gray2 said:So, who exactly is stopping them? Sometimes you just want to set the record straight when she starts twisting the facts, you know? But then those posts get nuked because they're labeled as "attacks." They aren't attacks at all—just someone sharing a different perspective that’s actually grounded in reality and being objective.

Yeah, that’s exactly it. I think I agree with you—that really is the heart of the issue.
First off, I want to say that I am fully behind the appeals and all the complaints being made. I honestly agree with everyone else on this forum who has shared their thoughts so far.

Larry Lee97 said:Nathan Turner3 made a good point: things aren't fully moderated yet, so just hang in there—the decent posts will be restored. Whether you realize it or not, you're overlooking one thing I said, which was basically, "With Nathan Turner3's blessing, three moderators agreed to clear out everything starting from that first problematic post by Dana Nelson (which was reported), and all the subsequent posts that were just piling onto her nonsense instead of sticking to the topic."

I'm no lawyer like Michael Ramos4, but she and those other few people who can't stand Feriha have as much right to their opinions as you do to yours. As long as you stay on track, feel free to praise or bash the characters all you want, but let the people who disagree have their say too.

Dear and respected Larry Lee97, I don't think you quite realize that having differing opinions isn't actually the problem here. Of course they have a right to their views; nobody is disputing that. Everyone's perspective is respected and always welcome. If someone disagrees with something, they should point it out and, if possible, engage in a discussion about the why and how based on what we're actually seeing in the show. Just look at the posts from Dana Booth26 and Jerry Campbell7. Why don't we have any issues with them? They write great posts; they might not care for Feriha's character, but they maintain a lovely, polite style and a respectful way of writing.

Now, regarding Michael Ramos4. First of all, she doesn't just "not like" Feriha; she absolutely loathes her from the bottom of her soul, which she has made pretty clear in several posts. She just attacks and insults her without any actual basis (aside from lies). But hey, that's forgiven in the show itself. She twists the facts presented in the series (!), lies, tells untruths, and invents entire plotlines that don't exist. She simply refuses to see (or rather, chooses not to see) anything good or positive about Feriha. It seems like she's blinded by this senseless hatred, even though the show makes it crystal clear that FERIHA IS AN UNSPOILED, HONEST, INCREDIBLY GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE, FRAGILE GIRL WITH A HEART OF GOLD. (Setting aside those initial lies, of course.)
Even when Feriha does something kind, it's somehow framed as a mistake. In Michael Ramos4's case, no matter how you spin it, Feriha is always wrong and blamed for everything, even things that aren't true. Honestly, if that isn't trolling, I don't know what is...
Seriously, if you only read her posts, you'd think Feriha had committed a massacre or killed hundreds of people. Like she's some kind of terrorist or something. 🙄
So, how are we supposed to ignore posts like that? Really, how?

The decision is final, and I honestly feel like any further debate is just redundant and a waste of time 😁 especially regarding the series. 🙂

I was just stopping by to ask why the thread hasn't been opened yet? Maybe you could speed up the process a bit 😁

Nathan Turner3 said:Alright, here's the deal: I've locked this thread because things got way out of hand with the constant poking, trolling, and the massive clashes between different groups here.

That said, it’s not fair to punish everyone for the actions of a few, so I'll be reopening the thread shortly. However, expect much stricter rules and a lot more warnings and bans. Any sign of the behavior mentioned above will be dealt with immediately.

I hope those who haven't done anything wrong feel okay with this move, and hopefully, the troublemakers will take a moment to actually think before they type next time.

👋 yeah, I think you're right about that, I totally agree, thanks so much 🙂

Yeah, I honestly just put that poll up as a formality, or maybe just to be polite, but now that I'm looking at these results, I have to agree with @fritz—does anyone actually have an issue with keeping this thread open? 😲 😁 I’m actually pretty surprised by this outcome, seeing eleven people against it. I kind of wish I’d made the poll anonymous so I could see who was voting 😁 oh well! It was late at night, and I basically typed this out half-asleep as both a poll and a question... I was expecting a quicker response. I guess maybe people don't think the penalty is too harsh and would rather keep the topic closed? Man, what kind of question was I even asking 😂
I'm not really following... but whatever ☕

Oh, come on, guys... I just can't accept this. I start reading through the thread thinking I'll actually get to contribute something, but then—bam—it’s over. What was even the point of locking it? If there are bans, warnings, and penalties, and if moderators are constantly issuing those persistent warnings about potential sanctions, why go through all that just to shut down the entire discussion? It feels like everyone loses out, especially those who weren't even participating in the argument to begin with. I guess I just don't get 🤷
. Please! Don't do this. I'm asking you to show some mercy and maybe lighten the sentence by easing the 3.5-day lockout. 🙂 That honestly feels way too long. We're going to miss out so much! There's bound to be so much drama and excitement unfolding in the series. Besides, the show is huge, and this thread is incredibly popular and widely read. I genuinely love reading the comments, even when people disagree with me. I usually just try to stay out of it because, well, sometimes people really do take things too far, getting provocative or twisting words—things I usually just choose to ignore.

Jay, Amon, please say something and consider reducing the penalty? 😢 🙂

Mistaken wire transfer/payment error in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Hi there.
I’m trying to wrap my head around how these deposit fees work. Basically, I’m transferring money from one bank to another—they aren't the same institution, like moving funds from Erste Bank to Bank of America. When I went to the teller at Erste Bank, she warned me that if I intended to make the deposit right there, I’d be hit with a $2.75 fee. She suggested I just head over to Bank of America instead, since I wouldn't have to pay anything if I was depositing into an account within the same banking system, plus the funds would land in the destination account instantly. But then, after all that, the lady at Bank of America ends up telling me $2.75 fees. Hahaha! I'm honestly confused. What's the deal? I didn't even ask why I had to pay a fee, but is it actually true that if you're depositing money from one bank (Erste Bank) to another (Erste Bank), you don't have to pay a fee at all?
The exact same thing happened to me today when I was moving money from one credit union to another credit union, where the account was internal, yet I still had to pay a fee?

I just happened to stumble upon this on a new channel earlier. I accidentally flipped over to this junk TV right as it was starting, scanned the description on the guide, and decided to stick around because I’ve always been into this kind of genre. I see people mentioning here that this is actually a remake. I had no idea—not about this version or the original—so this is my first time seeing it.
I think I'll track down the original too, just to see how it compares.
As for this movie, I actually really liked it! I got totally sucked into the plot, and the atmosphere was great—definitely creepy. The cast was solid, too. There were a few little things, though—some logic gaps or naive moments that didn't sit right with me. For instance, when that little girl runs off, and then they decide to go looking for her and give her a pat on the head like she's some lost puppy, even though they know she isn't herself because of the infection.🙄And stuff like that...
Overall, it's a good flick. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how the whole outbreak started, though. I remember that first infected lady from the beginning, when they first enter the building and check out her apartment, those rats that someone was apparently "breeding," and that sick dog that got taken to the vet and ended up infecting everyone there... hmm.
The ending wasn't quite my cup of tea, either. I wasn't expecting everyone to just drop dead, leaving everything feeling somewhat unresolved...😁

Hi there!
I’m usually more of a lurker—I rarely post in these specific threads—but I felt like I just had to jump in here. I find myself agreeing with the OP on every single point regarding that controversial locked thread and why it was shut down in the first place. It doesn't matter that people are technically allowed to start new topics; I think @Matthew Carter/">@@Matthew Carter hit the nail on the head, though it seems like he’s being ignored for some reason. Maybe 😉 because of a few minor inconsistencies.

Hey Blood Dim and our admin rustydrifter10, could you take a look at the last page of this thread? Just imagine if those were actually IMG code instead of direct links. And keep in mind, that's just the very last page of all those posts. 😉The images in this thread are definitely meant for kids. I guess that's pretty much everything I have to say.

I was wondering about this too! 🙂 Since it might take me quite a while to save up enough cash upfront...
So I caught this on HBO earlier today, around 1:00 AM...

The movie is... man, how do I even put this into words?😂 It’s morbid, fascinating, hilarious, gross—it’s basically everything all at once, just totally over the top.🤣

That sweaty cocktail scene? Ugh, man...🙂 I couldn't even finish watching it. Just the thought of someone actually drinking that makes me want to gag, let alone having to watch someone sit there and savor it. Then you've got that "volcano" thing, the camera shots focusing on the junk while people are getting peed on😂, the bungee jumping... and that gorilla😂.

But honestly, the absolute highlight for me was that scene in the bar with the little guys. I was laughing for a solid 20 minutes straight; I almost choked, and my wife was sitting there watching the whole chaos unfold. When someone asks her what just happened, she just goes, "I don't know, these little guys just showed up out of nowhere and started brawling."🤷 Even the tiny police officers showed up too.😂 😂 😂

Pure genius.👍
