He's telling nothing but the truth... everything he said is spot on...
When it comes to COVID, everything is totally under control. If the infection rates start spiking again, I say there’s only one real solution: just pack up and move out to Texas. Find yourself a rugged local girl out there and build up some serious Texas-style immunity...

Sylvia

I really dig how empowered she is; there’s absolutely no shame in her embracing her sexuality...

Dennis Hall41 said:Everything basically went downhill once "a week with music legends" bit the dust, if we're being honest... this subforum just hasn't been the same since then.

Then a little while later, when that whole heated debate broke out over those historical factions on the Music board and the guy with Henry Ford on his avatar got all worked up... my brain just stalled trying to process it all.
It was honestly just repulsive to read...

And this thread isn't dead; the mods are just out on vacation right now and they'll be back the first Monday in September. I've already got my proposal ready to go.

This will always be his absolute best track.

Vuco actually claimed he’d cut off his own junk if Dina ever actually made it big. I mean, let’s be real, we’ve heard three hundred of Vucin’s songs, but we've only heard one from Whitesnake... so yeah, Vucin’s manhood is definitely safe.

The Black man mentions the brothers and close friends he left behind; I completely blanked on that detail...

Finally got around to watching it on my second attempt last night; I actually drifted off about ten minutes before the credits rolled...
The direction was excellent, and for some reason, I walked away with this strange, almost feel-good sensation while watching. Just like Crow89 mentioned, the subtext really hammers home that critique of American consumerism, which feels incredibly intentional...
I wouldn't call it trash, though the makeup work was pretty rough, and that final sequence where the zombies are trekking through the ice felt a bit much.
Even though there are four main characters, it feels like Romero chose to focus far more on the zombies themselves. The human characters don't get nearly enough development, but honestly, it feels like he did that on purpose...
It’s a shame it isn't connected to the 1968 version; that would have been a fascinating little detail to uncover.

briskhound2 said:There’s actually a director’s cut out there too—it's a bit more gore-heavy and goes into much more detail regarding the characters...

Could you elaborate on that? I watched the extended remastered version that runs about 2 hours and 19 minutes...

I honestly can't bring myself to waste my time reading posts from someone who clearly didn't enjoy The Big Lebowski. ☕

Do you even grasp what this thread title is actually about?

ruggedfalcon28 said:I watched this for the first time back when I was just a kid—somewhere around '98. If I recall correctly, the title used here in the States was Zombi 2. It’s easily one of the best films in its genre.—definitely.

Are you sure about that? I find it hard to believe anyone would have titled it that way back then, mostly because Lucio Fulci was clearly trying to cash in on Romero's reputation by calling his flick Zombi 2.

It’s honestly not as trivial as people make it out to be. There is a massive spectrum when it comes to having it on a hard drive—you’re somewhere between "I’ve never actually sat down to watch it" and "I’ve seen it." At the very least, you're coming from a position of more knowledge than those who haven't even bothered to look...
Why was the "Natural Vaccine Detox" thread deleted? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I already mentioned above that I didn't even delete her because of what she was saying, but rather because she turned the whole thing into a trolling fest from the get-go, and there was just no saving it at that point...
