This penalty is pure stupidity. 🙄 I mean, fine, give Red Bull a penalty for driving on three wheels, but handing out penalties for racing incidents? That’s just idiotic. 🙄

Technically, Vettel bears a bit more blame than Kubica, but you can't honestly say he's the sole reason for the mess. If this is how they want to play it, why wasn't Barrichello penalized? He slammed into Kimi, knocked Alonso onto the grass via Heidfeld, and basically turned the start into a demolition derby because he was caught napping. 🙄

If my memory serves, he took out Kovalainen too. At the end of the day, Brawn is built like a tank, 😲 and even Coulthard rarely smashed into people like that on track.

The FIA 👎👎👎

I mean, fundamentally, he got hit because he crawled back onto the track in a car that was falling apart, but they definitely went a bit overboard with the punishment here......they really did.
cosmicridge5 said:Sure... but it’s still kind of nice when 😁😁😁

Depends on which one you're talking about...🤣🤣🤣

All things considered, 🙏 is enough to keep anyone entertained
cosmicridge5 said:That's possible... but I was always taught that just because everyone else is worse than you, it doesn't mean you're actually good. 🤷 😁

Whatever, I'm just frustrated because of my own idiots, so I'm venting. 🙈 😁

It’s the same thing, really; if my life is a total wreck, that doesn't mean I should start measuring my success by how much worse things look for someone else.😁 😉
cosmicridge5 said:Well, if that isn't luck, I don't know what is. 🤷

I mean, if just doing your job is enough to land you on the podium, 😁

Louis wasn't exactly great today, but I guess he got lucky because everyone else was a complete disaster. 😁 🤷

:alcoholic: 🙈 😁

With a car like that, he did the only thing he could do, and he executed it perfectly; the fact that the rest of the crew—well, not all of them, but most—were running around like headless chickens and tripping over themselves on track is their own damn shame, it doesn't take away from how smart his driving actually was...

So, that's one more 🙏point for driving with brains
And another 🙏for Brawn GP

Not that I even know why I'm bothering to explain this 🤷 , since people will just drink themselves into a stupor and forget the whole thing anyway. 😁 😉
Morgan Murphy7 said:Alonso on the Hybrid Drive System

To be honest, I didn't really notice much of an impact from the Hybrid Drive System, and I found myself feeling a tad let down by its overall performance

It’s even worse when you hear someone like Heikki Kovalainen saying stuff along the lines of, "Yeah, I was just getting ready to hit the button when suddenly..."😂 😂
velvetdrifter15 said:Truth is, nobody cares how he ended up in that spot, but damn...

And another 🙏 for keeping his cool while driving a car that felt like it was falling apart...
velvetdrifter15 said:My friend, Hamilton would be sitting there with zero points if he didn't have such insane luck every single time, including this race! We'll see how things look once Kimi starts making his move.🙂

If that woman were a man, she’d probably be named Dave. 🙏🙏😂😂😂
John Bennett4 said:Honestly, what kind of nonsense is this? It’s actually getting a bit repulsive to see people tearing down Lewis Hamilton like this... I mean, his only "crime" is probably having more than two brain cells to rub together—he's clearly smart enough to avoid slamming into a wall or spinning out like some of those drunk drivers you see on the news

Up until yesterday, half the Ferrari fans were practically salivating at the thought of Lewis Hamilton jumping into an uncompetitive car just to see if he could finally shake things up. But today? Suddenly it's all about luck. Seriously, kudos to you guys and your incredibly flexible standards. He managed to drag a total junker of a car onto the podium, and if you have a problem with that, then honestly, just go deal with it yourselves

It’s not just one thing, it’s more like a whole collection of issues that, when you pile them all up, you end up with.......🤣🤣🤣
Frank Collins85 said:Which one would you even pick? Honestly, everything will eventually balance out once they either ban diffusers entirely or officially legalize them. If they go the latter route, everyone will start using them, and then we’ll finally see who actually has the fastest car....

We'll just have to wait for the ruling on April 14th and see how it plays out.....☕
Morgan Murphy7 said:I actually got the impression that Piquet engaged the KERS and just went for it. 🙏

God... looking at his Formula 1 career, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up working the circus as the guy getting shot out of a cannon 🤣🤣
stormybadger8 said:Why? I don't get it. I'm just messing around. What else am I supposed to do, cry about it now?

No clue, but let's say Suzuka😁

Nah, I mean, just read what they wrote—grab a coffee and chill out😉 though we could always just grab a few beers at some watch party for the race instead...🤷
stormybadger8 said:Didn't realize. I honestly thought someone had just messed up the car again.

Seriously though, 😁 it's brilliant that someone actually thinks it's a good idea to try and overtake a guy who's three seconds faster per lap.😬

Everyone's going to think twice before trying that stunt again.😬

I'm not even worried. Vettel is still going to finish the season ahead of Massa, Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton, Heikki Kovalainen, Fernando Alonso, and Robert Kubica.☕

If anyone should be sweating, it's you guys.☕

And man, I can't wait for the race in Sepang.😈

Trollaš....☕

Seriously though, when are we getting a wet race? Go ahead, give us a prophecy...😁
stormybadger8 said:Look, Lewis Hamilton won the Australian GP, end of story.
The FIA is just going to do whatever they want again.🙂 🙄
It's pathetic. Honestly, at this rate, there's going to be zero point in even watching qualifying or the races. It’s actually sad. How does a car pass inspection as legal one minute, only to be declared illegal right after?
🙄

It's just embarrassing.☕

Give me a break, sure, Jarno Trulli overtook him under the Safety Car, but I doubt that changes anything... so don't start bringing up the FIA and all that now.

My bigger concern is Vettel; once you hand him a fast car, we'll see exactly how much chaos he wreaks on the team's dynamic. 🤣 🤣 😉
Well, looks like we finally saw it... Jarno Trulli getting pulled out of the wreckage...🤣🤣
Samuel Cruz61 said:KERS is tricky; it shifts the entire weight balance and everything else.

Or, to put it bluntly, he just doesn't know how to drive.☕
Jenson Button really deserves it, and honestly, the whole Brawn GP operation is just one massive 🙏🙏

Vettel and Robert Kubica were looking a bit... 😂😂
today.
Hamilton 🙏🙏🙏 stuck in that fourth-place bucket...
Alonso 🙏

That Ferrari duo is just 🙂

Piquet, totally expected... 😁
Morgan Murphy7 said:They always push poor Piquet to his absolute limit and then just leave him out there on the track like that 🤣

Maybe they're just looking for an excuse to get rid of him....🤷 😈
Morgan Murphy7 said:and Piquet 694.50 🤣🤣🤣

God, 😲....damn, with that KERS system, something is bound to blow up eventually 🤣🤣
stormybadger8 said:F1 Studio kicks off at 7:25 by the new clock, which means 6:25 by the old one. You better not miss Jergovic's breakdown on why Hamilton 20 is what it is.🤣

Honestly, if they actually start trying to explain why it’s number 20, then the whole thing has just completely gone off the rails.🤣🤣
Donna Nelson23 said:It looks like Williams called off their protest just before midnight over there—honestly, they probably were just being stubborn about those diffusers...

Or maybe they just got shut down because they were "interpreting" a few rules themselves😬

Still, it’s kind of nice to see Williams actually pushing back for once instead of just being total lapdogs.🙏
