Hey everyone, I just tested my power supply on another PC and it’s showing the exact same symptoms as mine. To make matters worse, the other spare PSU I have also fails to work when plugged into that second machine. Looks like I'm heading straight to Micro Center tomorrow to pick up a new unit.

So, my PC cut out right in the middle of work yesterday and now it just won't budge. All I get is the LED light on the power switch, then nothing—total silence. What do you guys think about me grabbing this power supply for testing:

Is this even compatible? If the motherboard itself is fried, I’ll probably just bite the bullet and buy a whole new rig. This thing is running an FM2+ socket board, and honestly, finding replacements for that hardware is becoming a bit of a headache.

Nope, the second power supply doesn't change a thing. It still won't boot.

Once it's warmed up, it boots perfectly fine. After running it for about an hour, I’ve shut it down a few times and it starts right back up without any issues.

I’ve tried shorting the green and black wires, and the fan spins, but that's about it. I went through all the connectors looking for any signs of swelling or cracks, but everything looks fine physically. I swapped out the main power cable, pulled the RAM to clean the contacts, and popped it back in, but no luck. Even trying to boot without the HDD connected yields the exact same result. When I hit the power button, there’s this weird clicking sound right as it shuts down, though I can't tell if it's coming from the motherboard or somewhere inside the PSU. The second power supply isn't even responding, and I've already swapped out the battery.

It's about 5 or 6 years old. I'm not entirely sure on the specific model—I'll have to check—but it was originally bought from Micro Center. It's an MSI motherboard with an AMD A10 7700-Radeon R7 processor.

Hey everyone. For the last three days, I’ve been dealing with a frustrating issue when trying to boot my PC. When I hit the power button, the system starts to spin up, but after just a few seconds, it cuts out completely. The power button just keeps blinking, almost as if the machine thinks it's stuck in sleep mode. Hi everyone, I could use some help tracking down drivers. I'm working with a Dell monitor, but I can't seem to find the right drivers anywhere. I tried running them on Windows 8, but the installation just won't take. I even tried using Driver Booster, which ended up installing drivers meant for an Acer s271 Dell monitor, but it didn't solve anything—I still can't bump my resolution up to 1920 x1080. That option simply isn't available in my settings. To make matters worse, when I open the AMD Radeon settings, it tells me that Virtual Super Resolution is not supported. I tested this with a different monitor on the same setup and everything worked perfectly fine. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Now, out of nowhere, we’re facing an enforcement proposal to recover $601.04 plus accruing interest. On top of that, the creditor is demanding costs: $250 plus 25% tax for drafting the proposal, an $80 notary fee, and $22.80 plus tax for notary expenses—totaling $441.00. They're also throwing in extra costs for obtaining finality clauses and other notary fees for the execution of the enforcement. I urgently need advice on what to do. My grandfather lives on a pension of $2,100; after paying $750 for credit obligations, he and his wife, who has no income, have to survive on whatever is left.
