Look, I don't care how massive the rulebook is, I seriously doubt anything like this was ever planned for. I mean, who would even think it's possible to actually hold a race when there haven't even been qualifying sessions for it? It makes zero sense.🤣

If it actually comes down to that, then yeah, the Race Director definitely needs to step up and make a call on what happens next.🤔

I'm dreaming of an actual real-deal race, not some amateur local circuit nonsense.

Gumbek leads the pack, Hemoš is second, forest third, and so on. 😬

Alonso is eighth. 😬

I really don't feel like digging through the rulebooks right now, and I'm pretty sure someone here actually knows their stuff, so I'll just ask. Not that it matters much given the weather forecast and all the crap our dynamic duo has been saying, but what happens if they can't even run qualifying tomorrow?

So, basically, Hamilton is at fault because Webber is just "crazy" by nature—especially since he's leading the championship right now—and decides to charge head-first into a wall, which means Lewis should have known better and just let him through? 😕 First off, I think we're way too quick to label Webber as some "madman" driver during on-track duels. Second, that logic assumes his behavior is somehow normal (😕) and that every other driver should just adapt to it. In my book, that logic works if we're talking about how much damage Lewis took by letting Webber past, but when we're debating who actually caused the crash? Not a chance. Seriously, at this rate, we might as well just declare him unpredictable and ban him from racing entirely before he actually kills someone on the track. 🤷>
because 😕

I honestly think you guys and even Joshua Newman27 are being insanely unrealistic. What's your problem? Should everyone just brake and wiggle out of the racing line like Jenson Button whenever Hamilton shows up to push someone around? 🙄>

Look at what Hamilton is doing in that clip. He dives into the corner like a maniac, trying to force his way in. What was Webber supposed to do? Just slam on the brakes or swerve off the track? What is wrong with you people? 😕>

I don't get why you're all coming for me. This isn't even a fair argument. 😵>

I'm standing up for Webber here 🤦 ,and it's honestly unbelievable. 🤣>

Who’s even talking about what? TBF, we're all just living in a total delusion. ☕

What is wrong with you people? Seriously. Everyone needs to just get out of the way and stop swerving all over the track like Jenson Button when Lewis Hamilton comes charging through. If you can't hold your line, stay off the damn racing surface. It’s simple: if someone is pushing, move. Stop the constant shoving and the amateur hour nonsense. Just clear out.🙄

Look, from where I’m sitting, Lewis Hamilton clearly had the line before he even hit the turn in front of Mark Webber. It wasn't like a massive gap or anything, but it was enough. He owned that space, which means he gets to pick his line. Period.

What the hell is Lewis Hamilton doing in this clip? He’s diving into that corner like a total maniac, just forcing his way in and trying to muscle people out. I mean, what's Mark Webber supposed to do? Just crap himself and slam on the brakes? Or should he just pull off the track entirely? Seriously, what is wrong with you people?😕

Look, Lewis Hamilton might leave me a bit more breathing room, I'll give him that, but there's no way he's hitting the corner like that. No shot.

nimblesurfer17 said:No, Hamilton is to blame because he didn't leave enough room in the corner for Webber to make the pass... though, I am curious, did Hamilton say anything after the race was over? 🤷
And yeah, you really have to account for the "mental state" and the sheer personality of the drivers you're battling against... that's honestly one of the most critical factors. It's just not the same experience when you're squaring off against Jenson Button or Felipe Massa versus facing off against Grandpa or Webber. Lewis really should have picked up on those personality traits by now—he would have realized that this move might fly with most of the current Formula 1 grid, but certainly not with Webber, especially not with him in his current position... it's like that old saying, "don't pick a fight with a bull." 😁 The real crux of this whole thing is that Webber isn't "crazy" in the sense that he's pulling stunts like Schumacher against Jacques Villeneuve; rather, he's "crazy" because he refuses to play it safe or back down where other drivers might flinch when faced with the presence of someone like Hamilton, Alonso, or Sebastian Vettel.

Look, I reacted (maybe a bit too much) because it felt like you were leaning way too hard on Mark Webber's personality to either justify his actions or shift the blame away from Lewis. I wasn't trying to pin the whole accident on Mark. In my book, we should be talking about the actual physics of the crash first, and then deal with the psychological stuff later.

nimblesurfer17 said:Hamilton actually hit him, not the other way around... like I mentioned before, he was trying to close the door without realizing exactly who he was trying to shut out ☕. If it had been anyone else, they probably would have backed off and let Lewis Hamilton through (well, maybe not if it were Grandpa 😁!). It’s just baffling to me why Hamilton and the rest of the field don't realize this might be Webber's absolute last shot at a title. He’s going to be fighting much more desperately, harder, and sharper than the guys who still have time to become champions or have already been there 🤷. Where others might ease off the throttle, he won't... it's pure psychology
.

So, basically, Hamilton is the one to blame because Webber is just inherently "crazy"—especially right now while leading the championship—and keeps running headfirst into walls, so Lewis should've just known and let him by? 😕 First off, I think we're labeling Webber as a "crazy" driver in these on-track duels way too fast. Second, we're acting like it's totally normal (😕) and that everyone else should just adjust their behavior to accommodate that. In my book, that logic works if we're talking about how much damage Lewis took by not letting Webber past, but when we're debating who's actually at fault for the crash? Hell no. Seriously, if we follow that line of thinking, we might as well just label him unpredictable and ban him from racing entirely, otherwise he's eventually going to kill someone on the track. 🤷

stormybadger8 said:😕 then how on earth can you even watch Formula 1 or Fernando Alonso on screen?🤣
If someone here is acting like a saint just because they climbed into a car at the start and then defended him with such insane logic that it makes your head spin, that's Alonso. We aren't much further off from Lewis Hamilton anyway.😬

No need to even mention dedin.🤣

And out of everyone, Vettel is the one who disgusts you because of the excuses?🙄
Look, Keith Rodriguez27, stop talking nonsense.

I seriously don't get this "I'm gonna kill him" comment of yours.🤷
The only explanation is that you only read my posts and have everyone else from this thread on Ignore.🤣
It's true, I can be a jerk sometimes and say some pretty nasty stuff, but I'm definitely not the only one, and I'm certainly not the worst.

So, who are you even rooting for?😕

Who says I think Alonso, Hamilton, or the old man are superstars? 🤷 They're all just okay in my book, it's just that Vettel is a bit less likable to me because he's inherently more annoying and because—not just from you—he gets hyped up way more than he deserves. The others actually have some backing for that praise, like, you know, winning championships. As for the forum, of course I read other users (and they aren't miles away from you in their views), but you're one of those whose posts I notice most, and since your writing style isn't wrapped in fancy cellophane, your "praises" carry the furthest.

so who do you even root for😕

Out of the top 5 still in the title hunt? Nobody. Some are more likable than others, but honestly, I wouldn't care who takes the title in the end. From the rest of the field, I'm rooting for Nick Heidfeld, and I also like Robert Kubica and Adrian Sutil.

stormybadger8 said:I honestly don't get what people have against Sebastian Vettel.

He rolled up to McLaren in a car that was basically a rolling trash can, yet he still pulled off a masterclass season in 2008. Honestly, I can't remember anyone else looking that damn good in a mid-field—if not bottom-tier—car. And the guy never once trashed his team, even though he had every reason to. Between the mechanical failures and the sheer stupidity from the crew over the last three seasons, he’s dealt with more headaches than Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, and Fernando Alonso combined during that same stretch. Yet, not once did he run his mouth about them. Not even a word.

Honestly, I don't think anyone else—not even Fernando Alonso—has ever made such a massive impact while driving for a mid-tier team.

Mark Webber never actually showed what he was capable of until he finally got a fast car under him. Before that, all he really had to offer was his massive ego, a stubborn streak a mile wide, and an absurd amount of luck whenever he decided to force things.🤷

Honestly, him winning the title would be just like when Rubens took it last year—or maybe more like Jenson Button’s run. It’s almost cute because we're watching an average driver at the tail end of his career finally show some life. After years of grinding just to scrap for a single point here or there, he’s suddenly in the hunt for a championship. I get it. It’s nice to see a mid-tier guy suddenly become the big shot. I guess people just need to inflate their own expectations, hoping that one day they might stumble into something huge out of nowhere too.🤷

People love to claim Sebastian Vettel is washed up, spoiled, or just plain desperate this season. Honestly? Give me a break. The guy’s made maybe two or three driving mistakes all year. That's about it.😕

If we’re really going to try and compare his nonsense to Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso, then he’s basically a preschooler compared to those guys.☕

The only ones I can't stand are:
Jenson Button? Honestly, I think he’s a total pushover. He can’t put on any pressure, can't even attempt an overtake—nothing. Then you’ve got Mark Webber, who's driving two seconds slower than the leaders while running on tires that are basically disintegrating. He’s such a soft target that they let the other guys bully him just so their golden boy can stay the Number One star.🙄
I honestly don't get how you can just let this slide without a single word of protest. You're letting Mr. Perfect delete stuff immediately without even putting up a fight. Honestly, even Felipe Massa seems like he'd be more likely to stand his ground and say, "Hey, hold on, I'm not some puppet you can just push around," than Jenson Button is.🤦

Lewis Hamilton? Please. He’s such a spoiled brat. He shows up whenever he feels like it, then acts all innocent with that smug little grin, claiming he never meant any harm. Oh, and let's not forget how he suddenly got handed a top-tier car and total, undivided support from the entire team. Despite all that, he barely scraped by to win a title—literally at the very last second. When the pressure is actually on, he crumbles like a cheap cookie. Look, I get it, the kid has style and occasionally drives like an absolute beast, but seriously? What kind of idiot pulls stunts like that when the championship is on the line? It’s just not normal. If he had a 100-point lead with five races left, would that even be enough for him?🤣
I’m not even joking—I saw those two retirements coming a mile away. I was 100% sure everything would go sideways. Honestly, I don't see him pulling off more than maybe two decent races before the season ends; everything else is just going to be a disaster. It wouldn't even surprise me if he finishes ahead of Jenson Button in the standings by the end of the year.

As for Fernando Alonso—sure, he’s on a massive run right now, but I can't stand this whole "everyone in the team has to be his servant" thing just so he can actually drive a decent car.🙄 This season has been pathetic for him. To be blunt, he only looks competent once the entire team sides with him and turns Felipe Massa into a complete joke. Before that, Alonso was nowhere to be found, and I honestly can't wrap my head around it.🤷
Either he's got some major inferiority complex and needs that "ultimate No. 1" status to pump up his ego, or he's just acting like a child. I seriously don't get it.🤷

Mark Webber is honestly more likable than the three guys mentioned above, but I can't bring myself to root for him. Sebastian Vettel is just my guy.

Exactly because of this. You've all made him so freaking nauseating on this forum (especially you) with your endless excuses and mile-long posts that I can't even bring myself to root for him.
Plus, the guy himself just rubs me the wrong way. On top of that, I don't think he’s got what it takes to be a champion right now—especially not with the crew he's running with.

I can't think of a single soul.... poor Webber, nobody seems to care for him...😢

Between that business with Seb and now this situation with Hemić, I honestly don't think anyone will even bother trying to overtake him on the track for the rest of the season.... 😂

If I have to pick between Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, it's definitely Webber. Out of the other title contenders, Jenson Button is the only one I actually like more than Webber, but as for those other two, I'm not so sure.
