Why though?

Does anyone know where I can grab a decent download for the partial ban from the soccer match? I'd really appreciate the help, thanks.
Michael Ortiz68 said:Which shipping company would you guys recommend for sending packages overseas (to the EU)? It’s really important that they arrive relatively fast, and I need them to be secure and reliable since I'm sending documents and some pretty important books. Price isn't really my main concern here.

Thanks

Honestly, just stick with HP, maybe their recommended service or priority shipping...

I mean, you can usually just head over to the USPS website if you have a valid tracking number...
Why is a partial ban being called "soccer"?? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Look, I don’t go around insulting anyone or anything like that... everything I say to you guys is just pure trolling. If someone claims that my local team is basically owned by some billionaire mogul or that we're all just puppets for his interests, then fine, that's fair game. But if I turn around and say the exact same thing about the Lakers and back it up with actual facts, suddenly I'm the troll? It doesn't make any sense, right? Just give me back access to this sub so I can actually read what's going on. I won't even post anymore, I swear...

Look, I have seriously never gone out of my way to insult anyone here... this whole thing is just a joke. It feels like there are certain agendas running behind the scenes on this subforum... I’ve been hanging around this community for seven years now, and suddenly someone thinks they’re some kind of moral authority? I mean, what could the real reason even be for this sudden hit job??
Maria Price61 said:Hey, some girl needed me to receive a money transfer through the post office. She claims it was sent on the 19th, but there's still nothing showing up in my account.
She emailed me a photo of the payment slip where all the info looks legit and the date matches, but it's just a picture of the first page—not the second one, you know, that green receipt part you usually get from the USPS when you actually pay for something.

Is it actually possible for it to take this long, or am I just being a total idiot here?😵

hm... honestly, this sounds more like a scam to me... maybe post a screenshot so I can take a look..

So this guy is sending me about 10 rolling papers via COD on Monday from San Francisco—cash on delivery!

As the recipient, do I actually have the right to check what's inside the package before I sign for it, cough up the cash, and take it from the mail carrier? If I don't, under what specific circumstances am I allowed to inspect the contents?

Thanks!

You pay, you sign, then you look... if it's not what was promised, the mailman should give you your money back on the spot and file a report...
Walter Alvarez84 said:What’s this deal with the new delivery fee thing everyone's talking about? I mean, seriously, what is this new gimmick they're pulling with the shipping charges?
So, I had two different packages show up from eBay this week—one on Monday and another one on Wednesday—and wouldn't you know it, my folks ended up footing the bill for both of them. $1.75 Delivery services... man, don't even get me started. Honestly, I feel like every time I try to order something lately, it’s just one massive headache after another. It’s getting ridiculous.
Honestly, I guess it’s just one of those things, but every single package I’ve ordered lately has come with free shipping. No extra fees, nothing—just straight up free shipping on everything.
That just wasn't how things used to be. Back then, it was different.

I guess if the label on the package says "small packet," they should be charging you the same rate upon delivery, right? I mean, it seems pretty straightforward, but honestly, shipping rules can be such a headache sometimes. Maybe there's some fine print I'm missing, but it feels like if it's marked that way, that's what you should be paying. $1.50Look, if you're trying to save a few bucks and don't feel like shelling out the cash, you can always just swing by the local Post Office and pick them up for free... I guess.

So, my partner's aunt sent us a package via USPS from Buffalo... she didn't give us a heads-up, obviously because it was supposed to be a surprise... but anyway
She put my partner's full name on the label, and while I changed my last name after marriage, he didn't... the mailman just dropped off a notice today saying I could sign for it tomorrow... Like, how am I supposed to sign for a package addressed to someone who technically doesn't exist according to the system? I guess I don't know if showing a marriage certificate would work, but this is the US Postal Service, and they usually just stick strictly to whatever is on your driver's license...
Has anyone ever dealt with something like this or heard of it happening?

Just grab your ID and go talk to them, explain the situation😉

I’ve got about $370 sitting in my Bwin account that I’m looking to cash out, but I just noticed they hit you with a fee if you go the bank transfer route. I guess there might be a better way to do this without getting ripped off, right?

Does anyone here have the lowdown on how payouts work over at DraftKings?
Kate Carter19 said:Hey everyone,

Can someone please break down the actual difference between just sending a standard package through the USPS versus going with the FedEx option? I'm trying to figure out if the extra cost is even worth it or if it's all just marketing fluff.
So, I headed over to the post office yesterday to send off a certified package, and honestly, they charged me way more than I expected. It felt like a total rip-off, if you ask me. I guess the rates just keep creeping up every single time I go, but still, it's getting ridiculous. Maybe I should have looked into using FedEx instead, but at that point, I just wanted to get it over with. $4.25So, I’m heading out to drop some stuff off at FedEx later today, and honestly? It’s probably going to be a total nightmare. I have a feeling it's gonna cost me a fortune, too. Just my luck, I guess. $11The packages were basically just envelopes, honestly. They had about the same weight to them, too.
Is it just me, or is FedEx way more expensive than everyone else? I can't tell if their base rates are actually that much higher, or if they’re just charging a massive premium because they offer that door-to-door delivery service. Maybe it's the convenience factor, I guess, but it feels like a lot.

Honestly, if you're looking at FedEx, they’re definitely faster than the standard USPS option, but man, you really pay for that speed. It's a bit of a sting to the wallet, I guess. And don't even get me started on COD shipments—if you're sending something cash on delivery, the fees just go through the roof. It’s definitely pricier across the board.

Betty Nelson71 said:Does anyone actually know if it's even possible to track a standard, basic shipment sent through the mail? I'm talking about just a regular, plain old delivery—no fancy services or anything. I guess I'm just wondering if there's any way to see where it's at.

I mean... maybe you could try asking a local mail carrier from that area? If they have a decent memory, they might actually remember if anything was dropped off or if there was some kind of shipment floating around. I guess it's worth a shot, but who knows.
Carol Cook67 said:Hey there. How's it going?

So, I was wondering if anyone could give me a heads-up on something. If someone sent me a package—specifically a pair of sunglasses—via certified mail this past Friday, is there any realistic chance it shows up on Saturday morning? Or, I guess, even by 3:00 PM at the absolute latest?🤔 Sent from Pittsburgh to Little Rock. 🙂 Thanks!

Look, if they sent it via FedEx, there's a decent chance it might actually show up sooner. But if they just went through the standard USPS Priority Mail route? Then we’re probably looking at Monday before it hits my doorstep. I guess it really just depends on how much they rushed the shipping, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath until next week.
Timothy Smith82 said:Look, my bad if someone already tackled this, but I honestly don't have the energy to dig through 150+ pages of this thread right now.

Can you actually put stuff in a standard First-Class envelope besides just paper and junk? Like, those small items people ship on eBay using those bubble mailers? Does the USPS count those as regular letters or registered mail?

Honestly, you can send pretty much whatever via First-Class, Standard, or Registered—just keep in mind all three are totally different services.

July 15, 2014. I committed some parking violation way back then, and today? Today the damn thing finally hits me as an enforcement action... I swear, I am so done with this government and their endless $100 fines...
And why wouldn't I just go pick it up?
Alexander Turner said:Hey, does anyone know what the shipping costs are for a certified letter from Miami to Argentina? Thanks!

Hey there, you can find the breakdown right here: http://www.usps.com/online-calculator

Yeah, totally!

Benjamin Richardson9 said:So, basically, I just put the item in an envelope, write my address and the recipient's address on it, note down how much they need to pay, and tell the lady at the Post Office I want to send it COD (Cash on Delivery)? Is that really how it works?
I'm just a bit tripped up on the math—the recipient has to cover the shipping too, so I'm wondering if I should just write the total amount including shipping on the envelope or what? And honestly, how much would the shipping even cost in the first place?

Look, if it weighs about 30 grams, your shipping is gonna be $5.25+$3.00 plus whatever it costs to get the money back to you, making it 24.90 all told. So, you just add that to the item price, fill out those little slips the clerk hands you, and you're good to go. That's pretty much it.😉
