Belgian GP - Circuit of the Americas in Formula 1 ·
lonebison19 said:Man, just give it a rest with Kimi. There's zero chance he wins tomorrow. He's just not there right now.

Yeah, I know he can't... just kidding... 😁but if it starts raining, anything can happen, I guess.... if it rains at the US Grand Prix in Austin, maybe I'd favor Kimi over Massa, but it'll be a stretch for him to pull it off... Massa would probably need to pull some kind of miracle at the start and jump ahead if he actually wants a shot at winning..

So you managed to squeeze Kimi past Massa, fine, whatever. I guess we can agree Kimi’s got more raw talent and this track suits him better. But pulling Kovalenainen ahead of Kimi? Man, that's just painful to watch...

Yeah, sure, he lacks that qualifying pace, but Ferrari seems a bit more consistent during the races, so
maybe luck might actually swing in Felipe Massa's favor... though Kimi Räikkönen is just top-tier, so things could get pretty intense!!

Hamilton is definitely our next champion!! 🙂

I mean, he’s always been kind of a brake-checker
but lately, in this race and the last one, he’s actually started trying to use his brakes properly

AHA! So that's the trick!! 👍

Felipe Massa's day
but I honestly think Lewis Hamilton is way too easy to beat. He might even pit five laps before Massa, though there's a chance Massa could actually jump him right off the starting line🙂, plus Kimi kinda let me down too

There is zero chance Hamilton pits five laps before Massa! NO. WAY!! 👍

Yo, did anyone else catch that and confirm that Heмиć actually has a block in
qualifying too? 😁 Seriously, please just pay attention so I don't have to dig through God knows what archives just to prove my points... whoever this is about knows exactly who they are... 😁

darkmarlin16 said:"Obviously I'm not thrilled about the penalty, but they can throw whatever they want at me. I'll just come back even stronger," the Briton stated.

"I saw the red light and decided to stop, but there were two cars parked right in front of me, side-by-side. If they had actually been lined up one behind the other, I would have spotted that red light
way sooner," Hamilton argued.

There's nothing to argue about because the footage shows everything clearly. If they’d been in a line, he would've been further from the light and would've seen it easily. What he's saying is total nonsense; everyone saw he messed up, he's just the only one who won't admit it.🙄
Just man up and own the mistake.☕

Yeah, sure, but if they were actually in a line, neither Kimi nor Kubica could've accelerated that fast since they'd be stuck in a single file line, so maybe that wouldn't have even happened...

darkmarlin16 said:I had a vision. I didn't think it would happen in the pits, though. I just had this gut feeling. After what went down there last year, it was basically written in the stars that he'd take the win.

p.s. Hamilton is proving he's a total moron

Oh right, because you're basically Chuck Norris or something, right? Like everything in F1 ??? just follows your little visions.😲

rowdytrucker72 said:If I remember right, back in '95, Hill was driving pretty aggressively and kept clashing with Schumi. When he was at Ferrari and the car wasn't up to par, Hakkinen ended up taking the title.

Yeah, but what I'm trying to say is that Hakkinen really had his work cut out for him in a much slower car. He’s one of those guys who actually admitted the other guy was better, just like Damon Hill did. They actually understood the situation, so they aren't just talking nonsense!!

Hill used to mention that when he was chasing Schumi, there were moments where he felt like he
was hitting the apex perfectly at max speed, but Schumi would still pull away. He’d literally clench his fists thinking, "Man, Schumi is flying, he went in way too fast," only to be disappointed because Schumi somehow stayed on the track!! That little difference in how they entered a corner—that specific feeling—is exactly what gave Schumi the edge he has today!
Not everyone has to agree with me, I guess....

I honestly think Vettel has a bright future ahead of him if he can just land a decent car!!! You seriously can't ignore his talent!!

And what's the deal with Hamilton? How did he miss the red light?? He was moving way too fast—if it wasn't for Kimi, he would've pulled out of the pits and been disqualified on the spot!

For sure! He'd screw himself up just like that!!! Maybe a pit call would've actually caught him off guard!! 😁

rowdytrucker72 said:Honestly, I'd rather see them drive like that. It makes for actual racing. I'm sick of watching guys just follow someone else around like a damn train.👍

I'm totally with you on that. If drivers actually want to leave a legacy in this sport, they have to be willing to go for it. They have to.
Trip Report: Canada (Montreal) - June 8, 2008 in Formula 1 ·
If they’d just stuck with the same tires from 2005 and 2006, we probably would've walked away with even more titles, regardless of those Renault dampers. I mean, they struggled enough just dealing with those alone!!
In 2006, he was basically dominating everything, but having that car break down twice... yeah, that's why the title slipped away. It really just comes down to the car itself.

rowdytrucker72 said:The races were boring for a bunch of reasons. The rules were different, and teams weren't nearly as cutthroat back then as they are now. There's just way more overtaking happening today compared to before.

It's just because he didn't have any real competition, so it made him look better than he actually was!!!!
I mean, his teammate was always struggling just to grab second place... 🙂

And just look at the races from a few years ago when the competition was on another level... like '95... '97... '98... '99...

Sumia is just too hungry for a win, you know? He can't see anything else in front of him. But man, once he learns how to reel that aggression in while keeping that same killer instinct... that's when he'll be unstoppable.

Honestly, this crash wasn't any stupider than those legendary collisions between Senna and Prost...
Trip Report: Canada (Montreal) - June 8, 2008 in Formula 1 ·
If he’d also had those Michelin tires that were actually stable and predictable... you know, if he was actually on par with the competition in that department too...
Man, where does it even end?! But whatever, I'm not gonna go there right now about the sch... just so I don't get
