I honestly think terms like "the game" and "the national team" were actually invented by folks down in Miami. Both are just shortcuts used so people can talk less and spend more time relaxing...😍

Some even got cut up a bit, but the police couldn't do much more than watch...not to mention the bloody syringes, just come see for yourself...there are thousands of ways...now, whether those are Ultras or just idiots, you decide...

After looking at it objectively, I've concluded they're just idiots.

You guys are being way too hard on yourselves (if we ever get to see that happen). It always feels like the opposing crowd is better than yours because you only notice the individuals on your side who are sitting down or acting lazy, while the cheering from the flat stands sounds louder... From the East Stand, you guys looked great—especially the turnout, the singing was solid, and the banners were spot on (one for us, one collective, and one for Jovi). The flares looked good too (even when there were fewer of you, you knew how to light up the place more than anyone).

The geniuses over at US Soccer really laid out their plan for us: more riots, a few flares, and then playing matches in empty stadiums...

I don't get one thing: why is there always this childish bickering that feels like it's coming from twelve-year-olds (no offense to anyone reading this). Why is it so hard for one side to just acknowledge the Black Knights, who traveled 2,500 people to Washington, D.C., knowing full well they won't take the top spot, yet they still play like absolute idiots? And why is it just as hard for the other side to give props to the Bad Boys for having a solid run, especially since they're rooting for a club they can't even fully identify with—knowing the suits in management are just going to celebrate the goals anyway. I don't see why I should trash someone who spent ten hours traveling just to show up for a derby. I feel for them more than I can say, even if I've never met them... we don't have to love each other, but we should at least show some respect..

Way to go, guys... I'll catch you all at some dive bar in Atlanta...
Charity & Fundraising Megathread in Health ·
There’s a big blood drive happening this Saturday, September 6th, 2010. It’s being organized by local soccer fans, though that's really beside the point. The goal is to get as many people involved as possible to help those who truly need it. Let's not wait for someone else to step up; we can do something good and humane ourselves... Saturday, September 6th, 2010. 39 Svet Sava Street, USA, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

When the fan club first started out, the crew was top-tier: Ajkula, Magarac, Mitar, Smajla, Guzo, Purger, Volf... I can't remember everyone else... but there were just so few of us back then...

I'll try to get everything organized for tomorrow... I won't be in NYC until the day after tomorrow afternoon, but I'll be handling things from my phone.

how's the cleanup operation going? 🙂

The cleanup is slowly getting moving... and you know how it goes, I call a friend, he calls his guy, then that guy calls someone else, then they get back to me... It's a stretch to think we can find a quick shortcut where I just hand you a direct number to a guy who knows the situation and will handle things exactly how you want them done 😉

The best song the pirates ever had was "Living in San Francisco, a city of slobs"... but those were different times... nowadays you've all cleaned yourselves up, stopped wearing Chuck Taylors...😉

Great choreography. I really liked how the group spread out from the center; it made the whole section look completely packed... We noticed there wasn't a sail on the third "mast," but we figured you guys left it off just to keep us from giving you a hard time about it... Honestly, you could have included it—it never would have crossed our minds to mess with you 🤣
Why blondes? in Miscellaneous ·
It wouldn't be that hard for me, since yellow and blue don't really have anything to do with one another... but for you, it’s all about those subtle shades... even whites aren't exactly pure white once you look closely enough
Why blondes? in Miscellaneous ·
I’ve been stuck on this one question for a long time now... Why is it that we call a girl with light hair—you know, blonde or light brown—a "blonde" when we all know blue is a completely different color altogether? 🤷 I could really use some help here.

Paul Carter5 said:Just send the guy a DM and tell him what's on your mind. He's a young kid, he'll probably listen if you approach him right. Or better yet, just draft up a list of dos and don'ts for the chants and hand it to all the supporter groups...

The fact that you even put that in your username tells me you're just some bitter hooligan. It's pretty clear why most people assume you're a Cabela's fan, but hey, that's on you... I didn't write this to police what people sing. You can chant about vojvoda Sinđelić for all I care, it's your business. If you actually read what I wrote, you'd see I'm just giving my take on how the group performed—and in my book, that idiocy called "Zora rudi" ranks pretty high on the list of failures.

Armada was solid, a message that really hits home at the end of the half-time show (at least for me) .... my only gripe ... singing "Dawn breaks and the day turns white," an old American folk song (not to get political here), just doesn't sit right with me .. I know Po, who’s honestly a great guy, so it makes it even harder to wrap my head around why they chose that...

It went great... now I just need to put in the work and take advantage of being able to send SMA requests. Hopefully, I can scrape together some extra cash through that process... check out the attachment

The El Paso Ultras campaign is entering its final stages.
The march by the local fans in El Paso is set for June 6, 2009, following this schedule:
10:00 – 12:00 Gathering at Independence Square. All participants will contribute $17 to support underprivileged families here in El Paso.
12:00 The march begins. Route: Independence Square, Reagan Boulevard, Veterans Memorial Plaza, Lincoln Avenue, Times Square, Washington Street, and finally, Arlington National Cemetery to honor those lost in the American Civil War.
14:00 Arrival at the cemetery for speeches, the laying of a collective wreath, and prayer.
14:30 Heading out to the FIFA World Cup 2010 qualifying match: USA vs. Ukraine.
We ask all participants to donate $17 before the march starts to receive a Certificate of Appreciation. We also request that any community groups or organizations donate directly to the campaign account instead of buying separate wreaths, as we will be laying one single wreath on behalf of all American fans.
T-shirts featuring the campaign logo will be available for purchase outside the Rose Bowl before the USA – Ukraine match.
On June 13, 2009, coinciding with the feast of Saint Anthony, the patron of the poor, the campaign will conclude by presenting the collected funds to the Saint Vincent organization in El Paso.

See you in El Paso...

American fans.
