Arthur Howard said:How are you even betting on LB? Pretty sure they have the worst limits out there. Even Paddy is better than that when it comes to stakes.
Look, as long as the limit isn't one dollar, I'll manage to survive... I can still place bets because I don't live in the States, so I've got an overseas address and an international ID 😉

In a potential three-way tie between teams like Atlanta, San Diego, and El Paso—all sitting at 35 points—Atlanta is the worst of the bunch and goes down... If it turns into a four-way deadlock involving teams like Atlanta, San Diego, El Paso, and Portland—everyone on 35 points—then Atlanta is the second worst and gets relegated...
If they end up tied on points with El Paso, Atlanta drops because their head-to-head is worse... A draw might actually save them if they tie with San Diego, since they hold the tiebreaker there...
Man, you're right. I didn't look closely enough at the head-to-head stats... 😵
My bad. But I'm still sticking to my guns on a draw for Atlanta. San Diego is likely to scrape a point in their final match to hit 35, while El Paso will have a hell of a time taking points from Miami, and Portland's task against New York is even steeper. A few draws in those games are looking pretty likely...
So yeah, Atlanta will probably settle for a draw. That one single point ends up being everything in the end...
If you're looking at Ladbroks, they have this Greek basketball game, PAO vs. KOlossos, and the handicap is totally off. They’re offering PAO at -20.5, while somewhere like Pinnacle has them at -28.5
The whole thing is being played behind closed doors. The series is tied 1-1, and PAO won that first home game by 27 points
For those who don't mind taking a bit of a gamble, it might be worth grabbing PAO -20.5 at Ladbroks and then hitting the KOlossos +28.5 line over at Pinnacle. If the spread ends up landing anywhere between 22 and 28 points, you walk away with both bets hitting...😁
Since they've been kicked out of the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana, I’m thinking we’re looking at a two-year gap—I still need to double-check with a buddy of mine who actually knows his way around South American leagues—but honestly, this whole thing might just end up being a void since there won't be a follow-up
There’s no way a draw is happening here. Not if we listen to what Eric Fox7 is claiming—he’s convinced this kid is going to finish the season undefeated. So, you either take the 1/2 option or just play the draw and hope for the best...
edit: And wouldn't you know it, even Eric Fox7 says it:
To get anything moving on any of these betting sites—whether it's DraftKings or Bwin or whatever else—you’re going to have to upload a photo of an American ID before you can even think about making that first deposit.
I don't have one myself, but a buddy of mine called in a favor from a friend, so he just opened an account and sent the money over to me and himself...😁
The game is set for April 10th. I'm going to try to grab a screenshot once it wraps up, just so there's proof and I don't end up having to hunt down paperwork later...
By the way, they shifted the odds to 2.05. I went with 2 at 13 and a draw at 6.5. Not looking to chase a perfect unit here...
If anyone happens to have an account on the Italian version of DraftKings (strictly the Italy site)
They’re running wrong odds on that Irish Premier League match, the unnamed one... The current offers are: 1.20 6.50 13.0
But they really should be: 3.25 3.25 2.15 if you look at the Asian markets...
Why am I only talking about the Italian DraftKings? Because over there, the law says if the odds are wrong, they can't just void the bet. They actually have to pay out...😁
P.S. If you try this on the .com site, expect a massive headache and a closed account. Just wanted to give you a heads-up before you get burned...😉
I’m starting to really appreciate the fact that we don't mess with grades during those first four years of school here in the States. If a teacher hands out harsh marks too early on, they risk backfiring completely... you end up with a kid who just grows to hate school entirely.
The American MLS is a total no-bet for me But I think it’s common knowledge that Osijek always pulls some kind of magic out of their hats after the winter break... especially if they’re fighting for survival. Once they wake up, it’s a domino effect—teams like LAFC, the Galaxy, and Portland start dropping one by one...
Since the Split fans aren't exactly riding with the LAFC crowd, we shouldn't expect that "it'll be an easy win" attitude you see from other teams facing Osijek right now...
Did you even bother verifying your account so they’d actually let you deposit? And they'll probably just hit you with some error message when you try to withdraw your cash...
Arthur Howard said:Has anyone else dealt with betting sites stalling on payouts after a win?
They're claiming the match was suspicious and that some regulatory body is investigating, so they won't release my funds. If a match is actually under investigation, those players wouldn't just be back on the court at the next tournament. (tennis) To top it all off, they locked my account with over $2,600 sitting in there, plus I still have open bets on that same game.
I'm thinking about filing a complaint with IBAS.
Just because there's an investigation doesn't mean you're guilty... why wouldn't they be allowed to play? Which match was it, if you don't mind me asking?
Joseph Stewart38 said:Alright, so what’s the clerk supposed to do before they take your money? Send a quick Skype or Viber message to check if they're even allowed to accept your slip?...
I mean, I’m just trying to wrap my head around how this actually works in reality... like, if they reject your payout because they think you're winning too much...
Look, the employee doesn't decide whether to take your cash or not. They just tell the manager you're at the branch. Once the slip hits authorization, the guy decides based on your history whether he'll pay you out and how much...
Besides, you don't even need to be up big. You could just be playing low-level stuff constantly, or chasing lines that didn't get adjusted fast enough, and they'll still keep tabs on you for that...
Yeah, honestly, nowadays everything you do just happens on your phone 🤦
Guys, do you all have Skype, Messenger, or stuff like that on your devices? Why wouldn't bookmakers have something similar?
@ nextgame I mean, obviously they aren't offering this just to hand us cash, but it’s pretty weird how there are always such bizarre results and interesting matchups happening at USTA events...
Joseph Stewart38 said:That’s because they can't keep tabs on you at a physical branch... If you walk into a sportsbook and drop a few grand, they have no clue who you are or what your betting history looks like. That's why the old-school shops were better. Everything was anonymous. No data trail on who was placing what...
I agree that online makes it easier for them to track who's taking their money and how, but what you said about the branches isn't quite right. Since we're talking about major US sportsbooks, I know for a fact they have systems in place to track individual players. They get alerts when someone walks into a location to place a bet, so the idea that you aren't being monitored just isn't true...
@Arthur Howard/">@@Arthur Howard Try taking money from any bookie on an ITF event and they'll shut you down. It's always been that way. And honestly? I'd probably block you too... 😁
You can play at the local US bookies, though it’s a total rip-off once the taxman takes his cut, or you can use Unibet—but honestly, most of their margins leave a bad taste in my mouth... 🤣
BetCity—what on earth were you thinking going there?
Look, I have to give them my passport number... honestly, what kind of hassle is this? I'm just traveling with my ID, not crossing the border to Mars... 😵
Besides the local guys, which other sportsbook actually bothers to offer decent player perks?
I'm right there with you. I actually just put money on a straight win for Roma.
But something's clearly up with the lineup or something... because fifteen minutes ago, the odds on Betfair were sitting at 2.54, and now they've swung to 2.80 - 3.55 - 2.76. Honestly, I'm struggling to see how Man City stays the favorite at this point...
