there's really no point in betting on Ronald now, three is just too low
if you really want to go there, I’d rather bank on Neymar actually showing up... if he scores and we hit that plus-two odds on Ronald, then maybe we can look up...
in any case, I grabbed Neymar at +11 before the tournament started. He could easily make his mark at this World Cup, and honestly, the fact that he's a lock on penalties—and better than Messi at it, too 🤣—is a nice little bonus
It honestly bugs me how nobody ever asks about this during any tournament...
The top scorer rule always follows that dead heat principle—so if there’s, say, a three-way tie, your winnings just get split three ways and that's all you walk away with.
Anyway, looking at today's game, they're playing against the Mexicans. They're definitely better than the Costa Rican squad, and even then, South Americans haven't exactly been dominating in Europe lately. But still, it's the Mexicans... I can't bring myself to bet big when these guys flop so consistently.
Cashed out routinely just five minutes before they scored... lost half my stake because of it. The second parlay is still alive, but I’m betting they won't score again...
@ I'd have to be out of my mind to bet against them
It’s a dull day here in Florida, so I’m just feeling patriotic about our guys
Since I don't live in the States, I honestly couldn't care less about all the drama you guys are dealing with over there or why everyone's so upset...🙂
🤣🤣
And we're still waiting on a response from gdjessia regarding yesterday's hat trick... though I'm secretly hoping the game ends 0-0😁
Gerald Carter53 said:Whoever wins gets to pick their side. They've been playing that game for years now. But up until recently, you could actually make some decent money on the Champions League... Remember that last World Cup opener, Brazil vs. USA? Did Brazil get the ball first?
The Americans got the ball. I know because that was my very first winning parlay of that tournament... 😁
I've been chewing on that too, but I honestly feel like Werner's more likely to find the back of the net...
That Peru path looks pretty solid to me, even if Morocco managed to grab the spot themselves... If Portugal drops one to Spain and Morocco edges out Iran—which both seem totally plausible—we could end up with a wild second round matchup between Morocco and Portugal. Morocco might even snag a point there, which would be plenty for them since they'll probably face a relaxed Spanish side in the final matchday...
And here’s a little parlay for the gamblers out there—Group H exact standings: Senegal, Colombia, Poland, Japan @ 30 (that's what my local bookie is offering)...
jadewolf16 said:And what kind of "gift" was that yesterday? Getting 1.40 on Golden State at the sportsbook... they didn't stand a chance in any half. San Antonio is clearly struggling even more without Leonard, and Ginobili looks totally spent after the first half...
Also, just so you know, 1.4 in American sportsbooks is basically 1.29 in real terms.
That’s hardly a gift. You could have found those same odds online yesterday without breaking a sweat...
The home side is basically on life support. Theoretically, there's still a tiny glimmer of hope left, but considering their last win was back in December 2017... yeah, that theory is pretty much dead in the water...
Derby, on the other hand, is sitting comfortably in 5th. The top four spots are already locked down, but the scrap for 5th and 6th to secure those Premier League playoffs is getting intense. You've got seven different clubs all within five points of each other, so every single point is going to carry massive weight
Things look even bleaker for the home team because they're missing half their squad due to injuries. Plus, they can't even field Darren Bent (who's bagged 12 goals) because of some weird clause in his loan deal. It’s forced Burton to start pulling some youngsters up to the first team just to fill the gaps
Derby has a few players out too, but nothing that's going to break them or change the course of the game
Derby’s away form hasn't been anything to write home about lately, which actually makes today a perfect chance for them to finally grab a win on the road
Floriana vs. Valletta -> 2 @ 1.7 Two neighboring towns... doesn't really matter who’s listed as the home team since everything in this league happens at just three stadiums, and most of them end up at the national stadium anyway...
Only two rounds left on the calendar. Valletta is sitting just two points ahead of Balzan FC (who are sitting at 1.15 odds today). Valletta has the better squad, though... I think they take this one easily...
It feels like everyone here just wants to get under our skin with these lies... Come on, let's just put one on the board. It's absolutely critical right now.
Yeah, and now they’re treating a simple horn honk like some major offense... unbelievable At least Pešić is out there defending like his life depends on it
