Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·
Adam Collins4 said:Look, I don't harbor any resentment toward the people who rear-ended me twice just to justify someone else... hatred isn't really a feeling I've ever carried for anyone...

And the cops said you were the one at fault, without even bothering to look at how bad the road actually was... but whatever...

It's not like I'm defending Cacic—I've said plenty of times that he's guilty and I can't wait for the trial to happen...

You're acting like me waiting for actual facts is some kind of defense...

They claim they took it into account. "Look at the weather, you should've been more careful!"
Too bad there was zero damage, so there was no need to prove anything!
But that's how it goes everywhere. In a pile-up, everyone's usually at fault!

So if you think he's guilty, then regardless of the verdict
he really ought to—since he keeps preaching about morality and acting all Westernized--
RESIGN from his party position, if only for appearances!!

bluerider63 said:Because he's being tried like any other regular citizen who caused a car wreck, not because of whatever mess he made while acting as a party leader.

Even a domestic abuser is just a citizen!!!
Even a rapist—should they get to stay in public office too?!
What are you even talking about?!?!?!?!

bluerider63 said:Look, you should be adjusting your driving regardless of what the weather is doing, but honestly, there aren't many people out there who actually bother to follow that rule.
I'm not trying to stick up for R. Čačić—he messed up, plain and simple, and everyone knows it. I just don't see why he shouldn't stay on the job until things actually play out in court, assuming he even ends up facing prison time.

If he’s guilty—and he is—why wait for some judge to decide??!!
He was out there acting all high and mighty about morality this past Sunday!!!
If he won't follow the laws, even the unwritten ones,
then what right does he have to lecture us about politics?!
Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·

Cacic needs his own physics formula.
Mass times acceleration equals force!!!

Take his personality into account when you calculate that force!!

Adam Collins4 said:Look, you were speeding again, and I was following too close... and because of both of us, there's a crash...

Because clearly, if you had to slam the brakes like that, you weren't leaving enough space...

I think the street was called Drvinje
and there's that steep underpass
right by the traffic light
three cars had already collided, which I didn't account for
so I slammed the brakes and skidded
then someone else rear-ended me and that was it!
The police said it didn't matter and everyone except the first guy was at fault!

See, you blame me, but you defend Cacic
even though the situation is exactly the same!!!

Do you just hate me while you love Cacic?!
Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·

Back to the point!
It doesn't matter if Cacic is holding some non-partisan role
he's still a public figure and the tribe should demand his resignation!
He and his party keep bringing up Europe
but there isn't even a real debate happening about it here!!!
If he didn't step down right this second, the papers would have him
on the front page until he finally does it!!!

Adam Collins4 said:See, you're lying when you claim you never speed...

You caused the accident because you were driving too fast...

And if I recall correctly, one of those total wrecks was someone swerving in from the side, while in the other case, someone else slammed into him...

Get real!!!

I wasn't speeding.
Just braked hard.
Car slid on the black ice.
It was an old Ford and didn't even have ABS.

Hit the Ford in front of me.
Only snapped his license plate bracket!
It was a massive pileup with five cars involved!!

Who gave you the right to call someone a liar in a regular discussion?!?!
And you're out here defending a liar!!!!!
Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·
Adam Collins4 said:Others mentioned Žužić and are trying to draw parallels there... which is a massive stretch...

Besides, how would you even know who's at fault for those minor collisions?

I'm sure you never speed, always maintain a safe following distance, and all that... just like every other average American...

Why should I care what anyone else mentioned?
Stop trying to lecture me, you're straight up lying!!!

So, is he the one at fault for the pileup, or is it the road in your opinion
that caused him to fly off it!!!!!????

I never drive too fast. I respect every single sign on the road
And I assume regular Americans do too, since they're pretty rare
when it comes to hiding pileups and causing deaths on the highway!!
I only had one accident once, back in Columbus
snow started coming down and I couldn't brake in time
hit the car in front of me, damage was minimal
but I still took the blame and paid the fine!!!

How many pileups have you caused? How many people have you killed?!?!?
You're alive, so shut it!!

Adam Collins4 said:First off, you actually have to prove someone is a "road rage criminal"...

Second, it’s pretty clear you aren't reading between the lines here. I’m not defending Čačić; I’m just saying we should probably wait for actual facts to come out before jumping to conclusions...

The only time I actually "defended" him was regarding that comparison to Žužić, which—let's be honest—is completely ridiculous and doesn't hold water at all... except, apparently, in your eyes...

I never even brought up Žužić, stop making things up!!!!

If someone pulls a few reckless moves—they're an aggressive driver!
If someone causes a fatal wreck involving two people
it's the same thing, because they were the one DRIVING the car!!!!

In the very first hour of driver's ed, they teach you
that a car is basically a weapon if you don't handle it right!

Distracted driving, speeding, tailgating, driving too fast for conditions...
those aren't accidents, those are just descriptions of negligence. There's no such thing as "coincidence" here!!

And look, I'm not a party to this dispute or the accident, I'm just stating my view!!
Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·
Adam Collins4 said:Comparing domestic violence or social aggression to "violence" on the road is a stretch...

Because most people who act out in society will always use the dumbest excuse possible: "I was provoked"...

And no, I'm not speculating about the crash itself—I'm just pointing out that we need to wait for the court's verdict...

So what’s the excuse for a road rager?!
"I got dizzy"? "I wasn't paying attention"??
Or was he "provoked" by the slow driver in front of him too?
All bullies are cut from the same cloth.!!!

Fine then, you go wait for the final verdict while the rest of us actually talk
and debate things....

Adam Collins4 said:The court, unlike us mere mortals, actually has access to the facts...

Especially since the accident happened overseas...

So, unlike you!!!!

Who do you think you are—the supreme online judge?
The moderator? The guy who started this thread???!!!

I don't get it—are you Čačić's digital spokesperson now? His defense attorney?...

Did you act this way in any other thread?!?!
Were we supposed to wait for the election results before talking about those too!?!?!

Adam Collins4 said:Honestly, it’s exactly because of posts like this that we even have a court system...

It is incredibly difficult to remain objective when emotions are running high, which is precisely why the courts exist—to follow the law while maintaining enough distance to reach a fair verdict...

And yeah, sure, anyone could have been in an accident... it falls under the category of "unforeseen circumstances" rather than intentional harm...

But that doesn't mean we're defending Čačić, nor does it mean the judge will view "accidents happen" as a valid legal defense when handing down a sentence...

Obviously, courts didn't exist before this forum
and since they started, you aren't even allowed to post on here
about anything until the court hands down an official ruling
since we're all basically parties to the case or legal reps ourselves!!

Adam Collins4 said:Look, if you can't actually read or comprehend the thread title, maybe find someone else to do that heavy lifting for you...

That last sentence actually fits the topic perfectly!!!
And your promise too!

Hey, you're out here speculating and giving your opinion too.
Why shouldn't everyone else on this board be allowed to do the same?
This is the politics section—pure political chatter, not even a legal forum!!
If you want to debate court rulings, go hit the Law sub!

It wasn't an accident, especially knowing what kind of driver he is!!!
Just like how nobody "accidentally" becomes a violent person in society...
Nobody "accidentally" becomes a reckless driver either!!

Adam Collins4 said:Which, by the way, you actually did—you’ve got that footage right there showing that Cervar isn't even standing on the podium when the medals are handed out, let alone wearing one around her neck...☕

And honestly, all this stuff about Gobac Červar putting the roster together or deciding who makes the cut—like what Metličić does—is just creating alibis for their placement. It has absolutely nothing to do with Čačić...

Show me the receipts!!!

I was mainly talking about the European Union classifications
and the training for expert witnesses in traffic accidents!!

Adam Collins4 said:Look, if you're so obsessed with Cervar, go ahead and start a whole new thread about him—I won't stop you—or maybe just wander over to the Sports subforum instead...

I have zero intention of trolling here...

The topic of this discussion is Čačić. If you can't manage to read a simple thread title, maybe find someone else to do it for you...

I get it, but I can still draw parallels regarding responsibility!
Especially if your take on things is the same!

Particularly when you try to drop evidence right after celebrating those handball wins!

Adam Collins4 said:Look, unlike Linek—who basically just goes along for the ride—Čaččić actually stepped up, took ownership of his actions, and acted like he was actually the one steering the ship...

Which is a far cry from Cervar, where it feels like someone else is always at the wheel...

To put it bluntly...

And Cervar even admitted he’s just along for the ride...

😍

Show me some actual proof for those lies of yours!!!

Harold Wright6 said:Honestly, it might be better if he just stays within the Democratic Party for now, rather than letting everyone see what kind of organization they actually run. ☕ At least that way, we don't find out the full extent of things until there's a trial, assuming he’s actually guilty. Their tiny voter base doesn't really care anyway, as long as they keep banging on about the war and the diaspora, Ferenčar. Čačić and his crew can basically do whatever they want...

Now out of nowhere, he brings up some guy named Hecegovac who was just getting a routine inspection on his car!!

Harold Wright6 said:Since when is probation the standard punishment for causing the deaths of two people? And civil damages have nothing to do with criminal prosecution.

That isn't in European law, and it's not in ours either, but it can be fixed!

granitemarlin77 said:I'm guessing he meant both—since the guy drives a car everywhere just to get to his private political gig.☕

Maybe so. Whatever, let him drive how he drives.
He's just tripping over his own feet.
Man, who knows if he’s gonna brake or just floor it?

casualangler9 said:Why is this thread on the edge? Is R. Čačić actually the owner of this forum 😕 😳

People get used to living on the edge of politics. It’s just how it goes.
Right on the shoulder of the road.
Pushing the limits.

granitemarlin77 said:In the first half of the show, where they grilled him about his arrogance, responsibility, and just being a classless jerk... the guy downed a five-gallon jug of water and answered every single question with stuff like "wellllll you know, yeah, but, how can I put this, I mean, listen, it's just......" Basically, he sounded like he was starving for bullshit.

Then in the second half, they talked about his vision for America with him in power, and that’s when Stanković was fighting just to get a word in edgewise, while Čačić was busy doing his usual routine—rambling on about nothing but filth and "integrity." ☕

The others are shady and untrustworthy.
Man, this guy can't see two feet in front of his face!

Austin Gonzalez13 said:Look, there’s a massive distinction here that people seem to be missing—it's everything. When someone hits a woman, they are doing it with intent; it’s a conscious, deliberate choice. Car accidents? They aren't. They aren't "on purpose." That is the fundamental difference between a crime and an accident. If Radimir Čačić had steered his car into another vehicle on purpose, then we’d be talking about a completely different story altogether.

Road rage bullies and domestic abusers are cut from the same cloth!

They both have plenty of excuses if you want them.
Should R. Čačić just step down from politics already? in Close to Politics ·
Austin Gonzalez13 said:Technically, it doesn't matter if it's a total loss or not... a mistake is still a mistake. For instance, someone rear-ended me at 60 mph once, and the damage was minimal because it hit me from behind... if they had hit my door, people could have died. But at the end of the day, the driver's error remains the same.

And honestly, being a careless driver isn't enough to disqualify him from being a public figure.

I’m really curious how many other politicians have cut someone off, sped, or crossed a double yellow line... I bet our entire Congress is filled with reckless drivers... NEW TALK!!! 😉

If you're so curious, go investigate it yourself.
We're talking about what we actually know!

How fast was Radimir Čačić driving ahead of those cars
if the ones who got smashed from behind ended up dead!!??

Why would someone who beats his wife ever back down!!???
And he's supposedly some top-tier businessman despite all that!

Austin Gonzalez13 said:To be perfectly honest, I can count on one hand the number of friends or even casual acquaintances I have who haven't dealt with some kind of legal trouble involving a car—anything from a minor scrape to a heavy collision. Personally, I’ve been in two. Nothing catastrophic, just some property damage... twice someone hit me, and once I hit someone. Every single time, it was just pure distraction.

And it’s pretty much impossible to accidentally swing your arm and hit someone, especially if it happens multiple times over several years.😉

I was asking about the totals and all those screw-ups like his!!!

You see how Radimir Čačić can just get away with anything? I mean, seriously, it's been going on for years!
That guy is a reckless driver. Someone like that has no business holding public office.
That test is just for the idiots who keep making the same mistakes over and over!

shadowpanther3 said:Radimir Čačić is an honest politician—anyone standing against him is essentially standing against America.

Don't be too hard on him. He's basically a local legend.
Bottom line: if you're against Radimir Čačić, you're against the Democratic Party. Period.
