Best music for a road trip? in Music ·
Ashley White43 said:I just stumbled upon something absolutely wild online.
Anyone who knows Kalember’s heart—who actually gets what I'm talking about—knows exactly what I mean.😁

Well? Come on, guknuti—don't leave me hanging!

Metallica - Enter Sandman, I’d give anything for this track to play at a house party!

I get that—but I still think CrowKing had a point.

So, isn't that what I was thinking?

Jeremy Flores10 said:Let’s not compare pre-war classics to modern films from the old era (US studio productions). We have absolute legends like "Singin' in the Rain"—but this new stuff? It's honestly garbage. Here are just a few 🙂 examples of recent releases:
1. The Four Horsemen
2. When the Dead Sing (I died, but I'm still alive😂 )
3. Mondo Bobo
4. The Marshal
5. Russian meat
-And what's actually good about these? There are plenty more that are even dumber and worse.
Just my two cents on where taxpayer money is going!

I'm with you on 1, 3, and 4—but I completely disagree on 3 and 5. "When the Dead Sing" is actually great, and "Russian meat" is an incredible movie; easily one of the best things to come out of the region in the last decade.

Why though?
"I don't do sequels," he supposedly said...😁

So what was the point of having him show up in X2 then? 😕
If I had been in charge of casting...! in Movies ·
One of the most talked-about casting disasters lately—Richard Gere in First Knight. A total miss. I guess they were just too worried about having an all-British cast.

I actually think it’s pretty great how he is who he is—just totally unapologetic about picking up women that a regular guy looking like him wouldn't stand a chance with. And honestly, Elizabeth Berkeley is solid; she was really good in 'Scorpio,' even if she's one of those actresses Hollywood loves to pick on.

I know I'm going to get flak for this, but if I were cutting anyone from Leon, it would definitely be Gary Oldman. Man, that guy is just soooooooo much

That movie is a total classic!!!

Honestly, it worked out better that way—Hugo Weaving was brilliant in that part. He’s easily the most impactful character in the whole movie.

Omen and everything else by Goldsmith.
Honestly, I just want Mulan on DVD for John Williams' score—nothing else, nothing less.
Against the Wall in Movies ·
Have you checked out *Against the Wall* yet? I saw it’s just hitting theaters now. I actually happened to be stuck in Germany during the Berlin International Film Festival, and there was a massive scandal back then because leaked pornographic clips of the lead actress, Sibel Kekili, were released. Anywho, the movie has been getting a ton of praise and picked up a few awards—makes me wonder if it's actually any good.
I’m looking for Mulan. Also, I’d love to find more older films—maybe stuff from the 80s or earlier.

It hit theaters a few months back—you can find it at any video rental spot now.

So, I rewatched it over the weekend and honestly, I was cracking up all over again—especially that part where Bugs Bunny and 8ball go at it like they're in Star Wars, only for the rabbit to pull out "The Force for Dummies." 😂

Space Jam isn't even in the same league as this movie. It’s honestly so good that even that awful dharma didn't manage to ruin it. Joe Dante rules 👍

😂 Oh look, I found Nemo! 😂
😂 Area 52 😂

Absolute madness! Look, it might not hit the heights of Gremlin, but it’s still way above your average flick. Honestly, the jokes fly so fast—you can barely finish laughing at one before the next one hits you. There’s even that bit where the plane is plummeting, runs out of fuel right before impact, and just... stops. Anyway, it’s definitely worth a watch! I'll probably have to revisit it just to catch all the bits I missed. It really baffles me how poorly it performed at the box office; it’s such a shame today's generation doesn't seem to vibe with Joe Dante.
