I’m seriously losing my mind over these cheap knockoffs—they’ve completely ruined my entire collection. Why did it have to be this way? It was such a clean setup before they messed everything up.👎

I remember reading somewhere in Hollywood that this guy was actually voted the most handsome man in the country when he was already sixty.

Good grief, go wash your keyboard with soap immediately!😠 The movie is an absolute masterpiece. Honestly—if we could just get the Director's cut, that would be the ultimate holy grail. James Cameron was basically forced out of the editing room because the studio wanted it to feel more like Zorro, whereas he wanted to lean into the grit and the gore. It’s actually wild to think about how incredible this flick would've been if he’d been allowed to finish his vision!

Picked it up today at 11! 🙂

Man, this thing is great—totally worth the watch! That bit at the start where he tells her she’s got a dirty boob, plus the whole robot sequence...

But honestly? The absolute highlight for me is that scene where they’re locking lips while David Hasselhoff is just vibing in the background 😂 🙏 😂

Potala said:So, I found this list over on Popcorn. It’s a quote from a post by Jwh d'Ar. Here goes:

On September 22nd, there's a free DVD included with the Los Angeles Times, and the new series kicks off on September 29th.
$9.75.

TERMINATOR II + YU GI OH
TOTAL RECALL + YU GI OH
CLIFFHANGER + YU GI OH

🙏 🙏 🙏 Not much else to add—this is going to be an INSANE collection.
Man, I can finally watch Total Recall and Cliffhanger on DVD. Honestly? This just made my entire day.

To sounds like they're saying 'wunderbar'—but then again, they are German.

Personally, I find that track a bit boring, though I have to admit—the music video is absolutely top-tier.

Does anyone know when this hits video stores? It never had a theatrical run here, and the local pirate sites don't seem to have it either.

City of God... though maybe not necessarily in that specific order.

Great movie—though honestly, it wasn't much of a horror flick to me. 🤔

Overhyped—it’s mediocre at best. Maybe this kind of thing is "ultracool" to some Americans, but it just didn't click for me. Everything in this movie feels watered down and overly cautious, whereas everything in Happiness was told with total honesty and zero hesitation.

It’s a solid movie—really—but if you go into it with sky-high expectations, the ending might leave you feeling a bit let down. Is it just me, or does overhyping a film always ruin the vibe?

The movie was total junk!!! 🤮
I honestly don't get why John Goodman is even in this—it's not like he's desperate for the paycheck or anything 🤔

ShatteredIt’s a great film by Wolfgang Petersen—honestly, that ending feels just like something out of the Sixth Sense.

Disney said:It’s just part of how music works nowadays... look at sampling. Without it, we wouldn't have had 60% of the hits from the 90s and the early 2000s.

My point was that everything today feels like a carbon copy—though some artists actually try to wrap it up so it doesn't sound identical on first listen. Others? Not even trying.

you won't find them in video stores 😁

Exactly.

Kosmarac said:And those Mexicans—well, they’re still at it. How much longer? Everyone here forgot about you guys a long time ago.

Forever. Look, what was done to us isn't something you just forget. It's impossible. You can't even bring yourselves to admit your part in all this—which you absolutely have—but instead, you just try to shift the blame onto us. You were the aggressors. You attacked, and we defended ourselves. Honestly, I couldn't care less about some Europeans trying to play peacemaker just so they can dismiss everything as some petty regional squabble. Seeing the footage of Americans being forced out of Memphis and other cities... it's enough. There's no way I could ever forgive that. Others can say whatever they want, but that's where I stand. That one scene from the exodus in Memphis—that little girl looking right into the camera through her tears—it stays with you. I won't let myself forget it.

Oh, and I almost forgot: :2up:

Sure, there wasn't really a set criteria here. For example, Jackie Brown wasn't some avant-garde indie flick watched by five people in a basement—it had a decent theatrical run and did okay at the box office. It’s just overlooked because it didn't get even 5% of the massive marketing push that other Tarantino films or Tarantino-esque films received.

Since you brought up Leigh, Secrets and Lies is absolutely top-tier.
