My advice? Go see a doctor.

The consequences... you could literally die.
Look, Scott Allen10, come on... who’s ever actually had a heart attack from getting beat up?

I just don't get it... 😢
I mean, yeah, sure—but what exactly do you mean by his heart just "giving out" from a canister of tear gas"?

Like, why doesn't anyone else have a heart attack when they're acting like idiots and the cops spray them down, or when they get way too wasted trying to pick up girls at some dive bar...
So, you guys probably heard the news that our first West Point Potomac, James Drasin passed away due to complications from being sprayed with tear gas.

Look, setting aside all the drama—the fact that he was a controversial figure, the incident where he nearly killed his ex-fiancée, the legal battles with the military, whatever—I just don't get it. HOW DOES TEAR GAS ACTUALLY KILL SOMEONE?

I’m sure if I spent an hour digging through Google I’d find something, but I honestly don't have the time right now... plus, I'd much rather just talk about it here. What kind of mechanism or reaction from tear gas is actually capable of being fatal?

Please, let's not turn this thread into a flame war with comments like "he got what he deserved." We aren't here to debate his character or his life choices—you can take that over to the politics board—we're talking about the actual fact that tear gas can lead to a fatal outcome. Thanks 🙂

Sure, it’s great for just messing around, but I’ve actually learned a little bit since then—so here’s my little cheat sheet:

running
swimming
hitting the gym
links to some exercise guides

So, you guys probably saw the chatter on the other subforums about those little glitches where threads just... vanish. Well, I didn't want us to run into the same mess, so I went ahead and unlocked them—except for the house rules, which only has two posts anyway, so even if that disappears, it’s not the end of the world—but I definitely don't need anyone coming at me saying they couldn't find the rules 😈

I'm counting on you guys to remember which threads were the absolute best, because honestly, I'm exhausted and being my usual scatterbrained self, so I unlocked everything without actually dropping the links here 🤣 🤣 🤣

dammit...

steelfalcon21, don't be mad at me, but I'm gonna move this thread over to the health subforum. Honestly, I think it belongs there—you've got actual doctors and med students hanging out in that section, so you might actually get some useful advice instead of just guessing here...

So, yeah... don't even bother trying to talk him into it ☕

man, screw that, I'm not trying to be an expert or anything... I just run everything through Google 🙄 before I even think about dropping advice on this forum!

Seriously, let's stop giving advice on stuff we clearly don't know anything about!!!!!

I mean, you're telling this guy to just go out and grab steroid eye drops—out of nowhere, no doctor's visit or nothing—and you're acting like corticosteroids have some kind of mysterious antibiotic effect... 🙄

Alright, you three—seriously, stop bickering like this, please. Let’s try to actually help the guy in a way that's a little more constructive instead of just throwing one-liners at him, okay? 😉

Look, hitting 297 pounds at 15 years old—especially when you're still on a constant upward trend—is getting way too close to morbid obesity territory...

Alright, let's pump the brakes here, everyone—no need to start throwing punches right away.😁

neonbear4, you’re overdoing it on the food. It's obvious that it's too much for your body. Maybe it wouldn't be an issue for someone else, or even a buddy of yours, but for you? It's too much. Plus, it's pretty clear your diet isn't exactly healthy... Edward Green put it perfectly when she 😁already mentioned it.

I honestly don't get how, despite having all those high-profile doctors in your corner, you haven't managed to change your eating habits even a little bit. Actually, scratch that—it's not really you, since you aren't 15, it's more like your mom who's doing the cooking and somehow making it easy for you to eat like this.

On top of the overeating thing, it's pretty obvious you aren't getting enough exercise. I get it, though—I assume at 300 pounds, finding an activity you can actually do isn't exactly easy. So, I'll suggest the simplest one out there: walking! Just get outside every day and walk as much as you possibly can. I have no clue what kind of shape you're in, but just try to hit those steps. Maybe talk to your parents about getting a dog if that's an option, then you can head out with them. And please, don't grab a candy bar or a bag of chips while you're out walking. Watch the quality of what you're putting in your mouth, and if you stick to the walking, you'll start seeing changes before you know it.😁
So, like, was there ever actually an option for you guys on this forum to come up with some other way to fix things besides just heading to the doctor?

As my buddy Willard always says—where on earth do you people even come from? I haven't a clue...

Dana Palmer8 said:When you buy a standard fridge, it comes with a manual—even though people have been owning refrigerators for over 40 years now without much trouble.

Yeah, well, you bought the fridge and you paid for it... 🙂

But here, you're just looking for info based on what you're interested in—just like everyone else does.

Plus, this topic is huge on the Help! subforum (which is where we are, in case you haven't noticed)... and there's this thread where Des went absolutely overboard with all the tips and tricks she wrote down. If you really need more than that, maybe just accept that some posts might be a little more "basic" than others? 😉
