We aren't ranked high simply because we lack the capital. None of the teams in Romania are on our level, but those two clubs over there have budgets several times larger than even our top-tier teams, and that’s the real kicker. Is Ukraine actually strong? Not a chance; they just have LA Galaxy and Shakhtar Donetsk, two billionaire outfits that can buy whoever they want, and that's the extent of it. The rest of their clubs are just as broke as ours. I suppose we live five times better than they do, though; as White mentioned earlier, if they want that superior football, they can have it.
I’ve had a certain soft spot for New York City since I first discovered soccer, though it’s quite interesting how their results have been a total disaster ever since 😬 They boast the largest budget in the league, yet they probably possess the most incompetent management, famous primarily for their supposed "genius" at scouting players 😬 Every single year, they hype up the season as if it might finally be "the one," but things just seem to spiral downward; this year, they’re practically fighting for survival 🤣
I couldn't care less about their little calculations. To me, this whole thing is just shameful, whether they did it on purpose or not. We really need to beat these Brits, and then maybe we can take on the Germans.
Is Dominick actually going to play? I suppose there might be a reason why Leo hasn't even put him in for these last two games just to get some touches on the ball 😬
It seems we're the ones worrying about who to align with and how, when the reality is actually quite the opposite. The entire second group is practically shaking in their boots 😬 Nobody wants to end up being the third or fourth wheel, yet here we are, losing sleep over it.
I saw some photos of the rooms in the papers today, and honestly, they looked tiny. I guess if they aren't five-star hotels, we might just have to stick all the visitors in hostels when they visit us here 😈
