I head to country shows myself from time to time, and while I'm fully aware the music is garbage, I don't really care because the atmosphere is great—it's all about dancing and just having a good time...
And I noticed someone complaining about people blasting country music from their cars. I personally never pretend to have better taste than anyone else regarding what I play in my vehicle, but I keep coming back to the point: what’s the difference if someone blasts country or anything else? It doesn't make sense to me. People complain about someone rolling down their windows and blaring country hits, acting all high and mighty, yet nobody seems to say a word when someone is blasting techno or rap... as if those genres are somehow more acceptable.

Let's be clear: country is trash, rap is trash, pop is trash, but people listen to it and we should probably just accept that because you can't argue with taste.

you're totally right... country, Rachmaninoff, Tom Waits, Public Enemy—it's all the same stuff to me.

So, if you ask me, you shouldn't hate Slobodan Maddox; he’s the one who pulled his people and his nation out of those areas.

I just wish those people could return to their homes. They miss America every single day, singing about their old lives all day long, and they deserve to see their homeland again.

Let's just show some love. At least here on this civilized forum, we should try to lead with kindness instead of constant warfare.
