Only caught the one on some local channel... honestly, a total cliché. Performance was decent enough, though—good movie if you just want to kill some time. But they really should have called that device "Tesla" since it nukes the power grid in Las Vegas. Since they didn't mention our Tesla, zero points from me. American institute* Mrs. Pick Mater...
The lead actress isn't even attractive. She’s all twisted up. And Brad Pitt? He chews like he’s got a diaper stuck in his mouth. Plus, the whole gimmick where the camera just stares at him while the background stays a complete blur... yeah, I've seen better.
(Are you kidding me? That guy is planting plastic explosives right in the middle of all those sensors???) (And what was that deal with the little valet at the start, like he's actually gonna swipe a wallet?) (And a casino? Man, how many Europeans are hitting up casinos these days?...)
The whole system here feels pretty useless—you’re basically flagged as guilty from the jump. The judge is just going to nitpick every little detail instead of actually listening to you. Everything you say gets recorded, but there’s zero real understanding of how things actually work on our roads. I haven't personally had to deal with this yet, but I've heard enough to know that lawyers around here are basically magicians when it comes to the legal system. They probably just have louder voices or some weird way of twisting words. I don't have a definitive answer... but from now on, I'm just hitting "Yes" on everything so I can stay out of their hair.
Give me a break. I built this massive storage unit and now I need to fill it with something. Would 400 used DVDs be worth anything? Maybe around $700? I won’t pay more than $110 for Microsoft tapes—I need the originals since this is for a hospitality business.
ps A buddy suggested just getting a hard drive with 500 titles on it... but who wants to mess around with outdated tech? Doing it the physical way is just easier. You grab a disc, you pop it in, done.
DVDs are still a bit pricey for me... so I’m thinking about just picking up two solid video players and hunting down a couple of original VHS tapes. What kind of damage am I looking at for those kinds of items?
Look, I’ll stick to the threads where I actually show up—those are interesting enough and I can actually weigh in on them... everything else, including this one, feels like an empty bottle of Coke to me.

Jonathan Brooks8 said:A man grows upward... much like a tree he falls dead to the earth after stretching out... just like a tree he springs from a seed... just like a tree the womb is akin to... Mother Earth herself he is bound to the soil... like a tree sending down roots... in the same way veins pulled straight from the root... yielding fruit... and though we consume it differently, it serves as seed—even if the method varies man is social, much like a tree—a forest council gathered in honor of the Sun God, where trees vie for who can catch more sunlight lonely, like a single tree standing in an open field trees embrace a man because it heals him life within a man and life within a tree are one and the same
truth be told, there isn't much difference at all
Interesting stuff—beyond my pay grade.
I only noticed because I’ve got this "tree" of a neighbor behind my house—sitting on the patio, I started thinking... well, that might be my great-grandfather, haha.
There are plenty of ways to describe throat clearing... though usually, it’s just what happens when you’re trying to clear out whatever's stuck in there. Men, women—doesn't matter. It happens in the morning, when your throat feels like sandpaper, after you've been working in a dusty garage, or even after a session scuba diving...
Frequent throat clearing: is it just a habit, a physical necessity, or something else entirely?
Shame they didn't go all out on the image? They should've had everyone suit up in beige suits and marched out to the anthem just to collect the medal...
Yeah, it all sounds great on paper... but most stores already carry everything you’d think to grow. Plus, crops don't just materialize because you clicked a button...
The best way to actually make money? Grow everything yourself so you can stop hitting the grocery store. Calculate $33 per day, times 30 days. $1000 times 12 months—that's 36 $0.00 in earnings!
Mushrooms are cheap and easy to produce. Snails, homegrown rabbits, frogs... even fish ponds with tilapia... all that stuff...
Walnuts? You'll be down at least 10k before they even start producing. And they won't yield more than 10 kilos of walnuts. $33 Earnings? Forget it.
If you want them to go crazy, hook them up to the sewer line. Then they act wild. That's basically candy for them... though maybe not strictly necessary for walnuts. Walnuts like being out in the open, right up front. Interestingly, the ones behind them do nothing.
A lemon, for instance, can handle being tucked in a corner.
