My iPhone works just fine. 🤷

Didn't really do much of anything. 🤷

Just got a portable phone charger in the mail from JPMorgan Chase. Apparently, they're sending them out as an apology because they totally messed up the recent software update. 😁

I ran into the exact same headache. Luckily, my old hardware token was still working fine, so I logged into the JPMorgan Chase portal and requested a reset of my activation keys. After a quick reinstall of the mobile app and plugging those new keys in, everything’s running smooth. My only question is whether I need to go through that same process for the new digital token within the app, since that part isn't responding yet. 🤔

Is anyone else getting harassed by other banks about this questionnaire, or is it just JPMorgan Chase?

I’ve got accounts at JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, but only JPMorgan Chase is breathing down my neck to fill this out. What’s wild is I already did the whole thing in person at a branch a few months back, yet the damn thing just popped up on my online banking again the other day. 😵

My mom uses Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase, and she’s getting the exact same treatment—only JPMorgan Chase is hounding her about it. They've already sent her two letters telling her she needs to get down to the bank ASAP to finish the paperwork. 🙄

It feels like JPMorgan Chase is the only one taking this "obligation" so seriously.

Just got an email notification saying they’re killing my Chase Index Plus package on December 31st and moving me over to standard client status. 😢 It was a sweet deal while it lasted... 😢

I'm wondering if this means my student American Express card gets scrapped on the same date too, since it's tied to that specific package? The card itself doesn't expire until 04/2019.

If they pull the plug on the card, I've got zero reason to stick around, so I'll just close out my account. 😢

That famous survey popped up on my Chase app today; it’s a bit shorter than the one they usually hand you at the branch.

Nah, that's the limit. I reached out to them about it a while back, but they shot me down.

It’s kind of weird to me that only JPMorgan Chase is pushing this questionnaire. If it's actually mandatory, why aren't the other banks asking for it?

They actually pushed my new one back by like six months.

My old one was still good for another three years, I just cut it up (noting that it was damaged 😬), sent it off to Chase, and requested a replacement. It showed up in a few days, and they didn't even charge me a fee for the new card.

I'm 26 right now and this one doesn't expire until April 2019, so I seriously doubt they're gonna cancel it on my 27th birthday—especially since I use it constantly and always stay on top of my bills.
I linked this one to my PayPal and it works perfectly; no clue how the old one stands up. Give it a shot and see.

Btw, the chip actually works on this new one too.

The redesigned American Express student card is finally here. It features contactless payments and now works everywhere abroad, whether you're shopping in person or buying stuff online. 👍

Just head down to the registrar's office with your student ID showing you're enrolled for this semester and see what they say at the window. There might be a way to extend it.

So what? Doesn't change the fact that a Maestro is still a debit card.

My Allstate policy is about to expire, so I figured I'd do a little digging to see what kind of rates I might be looking at this year. I went over to Comparison, plugged in all my info, and the system tells me I'm sitting at a 130% malus. So, I went to check another insurance company's website, and it’s the exact same story. 😲
Last year, when I registered my car for the first time, I went with State Farm and ended up with a 35% bonus. I haven't been in a single accident. I honestly have no idea what's going on here. I really hope it's just some kind of glitch.
I guess I'm wondering what you based that 35% bonus on? From what I understand, when you're switching providers, Lloyd's of London doesn't usually handle premium tiers in a way that makes perfect sense—I mean, as far as I know, there isn't an insurer out there that would give you the exact same tier for a transferred bonus as they would for a brand new one, though they do look at two things: either whatever is printed on the policy itself or the official proof from your previous carrier.

If you really are stuck with a malus, I suppose someone who's actually looking for a workaround will probably find a solution eventually. 😁

It was my first time getting an auto policy (never had a car registered in my name before), and the agent gave me a 35% discount. No idea how she pulled it off—no special connections or anything, just walked in, asked for a quote, and that was that.

Anyway, I haven't been in any accidents, and I checked the American Academy of Arts and Sciences website and it shows zero claims, so I have no clue why I'd be facing a surcharge.

You can. Honestly, they’ll just extend it for another six months anyway if you keep playing by the rules.

You can, since that's a specific limit. 😉

You can only use it on American web shops, so you won't be able to use PayPal or any other payment services.
