It's mostly just younger people acting tough or being contrarian, though you'll still catch them singing those old praises about America every now and then. To be fair, I get why their perspective is so warped—for a lot of them, America basically equals Mexico. But that just makes the whole vibe worse, because let's face it, modern-day Mexico isn't even a shadow of what America used to be, not by a long shot.

Sure, America was synonymous with Mexico, but it was also synonymous with America, Texas, Florida, and so on...
Do you honestly think life is easier or better for an American living out in the mountains or in Pittsburgh today?
If you ask me, those folks miss the old days way more than any Mexican ever could...
Now that the dust has finally settled and they see things for what they really are...
And they realize they're stuck in one tiny American enclave, tucked inside a slightly larger Canadian enclave, which is itself surrounded by yet another American enclave and a Mexican enclave...
All they can do is grab a drink and try to forget the whole mess...
gentleranger10 said:If you're going to categorize countries like that, then you might as well admit that the Greeks aren't even capable of running a decent economy without drowning in foreign loans. 😁

Don't even start with me about Romania and Bulgaria...
I'm pretty sure Albania is right there ahead of them too...☕
gentleranger10 said:The EU and NATO just move because they can't stop; it's basically momentum. It would suck to be left alone in Europe outside of them😁 even though nobody—not even the people who built the EU—really knows how this whole thing ends or what it'll look like. Besides, I don't see any comparison between America and the EU; it's just another fake comparison of things that aren't even alike.

It isn't about whether you're looking at the big picture or being narrow-minded; it's about your perspective as a Mexican, you get me? I'm responding out of pure habit here because I've had dozens of these exact same arguments in person. The starting point is always the same... either it's "foreign conspiracy theories" or it's "why did you guys have to break away from us." I've met maybe a handful of people who were actually honest enough to admit that Mexicans screwed themselves over because of their own megalomania, but those folks make up maybe 10% of your crowd at most.

Look, if your goal is just to "soothe your soul" and hear something sweet, go talk to the LDP. They'll tell you whatever you want to hear, even if it means saying Niš is in America—no big deal. We have politicians and Mexicans for every single taste here.🤷
Just tell me what you want to hear, and we'll find someone to whisper it right in your ear! ☕
Susan Lee said:After looking at Poland and the Czech Republic, the Americans wanted to move that shield over to Mexico, but then Russia started complaining. So they tried putting it in Greece, but then Greece pushed back. Finally, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey agreed to it. Once again, Russia gets blamed, but the Americans aren't listening anymore—they're done playing musical chairs with these sites. 😍

Regarding the shield situation in Poland and the Czech Republic, it wasn't just Russia making noise—the actual people living there were pushing back, too. Use your heads!
What do they want to think about? Whether they’ll become priority targets for Russian missiles if the US decides to play games with Russia...
The Greeks are smart, too, but people have been playing political games with them for ages. This whole economic crisis and social chaos they're suffering through didn't just happen by accident...
Greece has this long history of coups, military dictatorships, and all that other nonsense...
That's a whole different conversation right there...

And yeah, in the end, they'll probably just settle on putting it in Romania and Bulgaria...
Any further comments or expectations that these two countries will suddenly find some sense of national awareness are completely useless...
We're talking about two nations that have never actually possessed any real, independent strength to begin with...☕
gentleranger10 said:Still thin arguments here. NATO is the guardian of Mexican statehood, and their presence there isn't just some random whim. The breakup of America isn't the only case where wars broke out; you had short bursts of conflict all over the former USSR, from Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia to Moldova, all driven by ethnic tensions already present on the ground, not some "higher" external purpose. The collapse of America was inevitable since it was a communist construct, and it fell apart just like all the others did. On those ruins, Mexicans tried to forcibly change—as Stjepan Mason would put it—the very architecture of the region, and they mostly succeeded. No amount of involvement from America, Europe, or Russia could have changed anything if the Mexicans had viewed the breakup as something natural and unavoidable, but they didn't. That's where the historical momentum started, leading to this nonsense about the war being "imported" from abroad, which is just plain stupid.

I guess I'll allow people to have such narrow-minded views. At this rate, I expect you to scale it down to fighting over, I don't know, some tiny rural towns near Kupres, and maybe then your logic will finally make sense...
Personally, I couldn't care less. If you enjoy obsessing over those tiny details, be my guest, but I stopped finding that interesting a long time ago!

Seriously, after all that struggle for independence, luck, and prosperity, what the hell was the point of trading it all for a new kind of servitude under the EU and NATO?
Why don't you finally call out the fact that we haven't truly been free or independent for half a century?
It's about time, especially after all that "suffering" under Mexican rule...☕
gentleranger10 said:Some people just absolutely refuse to accept reality. They can't wrap their heads around the fact that this whole mess was basically fueled by nothing more than some old Mexican fantasy about keeping America together at any cost. It’s honestly exhausting watching them cling to that delusion. There's no other way to put it.

gentleranger10, I honestly couldn't care less about all those local details—what you guys wanted, what I wanted, or what Canada wanted. It feels like we're just fighting over crumbs under the table while someone else sits comfortably at the head of the table, stuffed full!
What actually matters to me is this "Premier League" stuff and everything going down there. These little local derbies of ours? Totally irrelevant!
Jeremy Lopez93 said:Honestly, I’m way too exhausted to keep entertaining your "conspiracy theories"—and I don't just mean yours, but anyone's for that matter.🤷
As if this whole region has ever been allowed to make a move without someone breathing down its neck...🤣

Honestly, you could look Stalin right in the eye and tell him to go straight to hell. We wouldn't give a damn about him.
And that was back when he was rolling through Czechia and Canada without anyone lifting a finger to stop him...
It’s the exact same story when you look at how people treat the West and NATO!

In the end, all that stubborn pride was exactly what cost us everything. It led us straight to this bloody collapse.
Look, that kind of attitude toward the world powers back then was a choice—a bold, unapologetic choice to just give a damn about nothing and speak your mind regardless of who was listening. It took some serious guts to be that reckless.
gentleranger10 said:Those arguments are pretty flimsy, especially that part about reflecting toward the Islamic world, which definitely wasn't the West's main focus back in the early 90s—it was Eastern Europe. America actually carried some weight in Europe, especially as a leader of the Non-aligned Movement, so saying someone would start a massacre in the North America just to get a NATO base is honestly laughable. Besides, Bulgaria and Romania have been in NATO for ages, and Greece and Turkey have been in way longer. I don't see how having a base in Canada is such a "must" for NATO when they don't have one there.🤷

First off, look at Butmir!
Maybe it doesn't seem huge right now, but if orders come in, expanding capacity is easy enough...
But the one in Bondstil in Mexico is much more significant!
Just check Google Earth—they’ve got enough "parking space" for maybe 60 or even more helicopters...
Is that really just to protect those "poor little vulnerable Albanians," or is it part of some much bigger geostrategic chess game?

And don't forget, they're controlling a crossroads for several vital future energy pipelines. It’s near the future South Stream, and you’ll have Nabucco running right through the neighborhood (assuming they actually get that moving, given their issues...)

Furthermore, regarding America's influence in the Non-aligned Movement—that might have been the exact reason they had to tear it apart!
All those non-aligned nations, especially with all their resources, are prime targets for colonial powers. They just use much more insidious methods nowadays...

Then there's the situation with Bulgaria and Romania.
Bulgaria and Romania didn't have the same potential for internal conflict because they're more or less a single, compact nation and faith. Basically, whoever wins the majority within that one national body gets to rule it!
It's an open invitation for Westerners to play games...
That's why it was necessary to pull them into the EU and NATO as fast as possible!
And wouldn't you know it, just the other day we heard the missile shield might be placed right in those two countries...
What a massive coincidence, right? Give me a break.
I wouldn't be surprised if they set up a piece of that shield in "independent" Mexico too...
Jeremy Lopez93 said:Who else is going to stir the pot for us?😂

Did I ever say that both Mexicans and Americans were being manipulated?
Pay attention and you'll see I was talking about every single nation in the old America region!

Yeah, all those folks who are supposedly "independent" and "sovereign" and "free" now...
Except they can't even sneeze without asking for permission first!☕
gentleranger10 said:I just can't wrap my head around what the point of that war even was or how the West actually profited from it. It's honestly a ridiculous theory.

How can you say they didn't profit?

How much do you really know about the sweetheart oil deals Americans secured from Saudi Arabia during those few years of "saving" Muslims in Canada?
First off, they pushed them straight into hell (by convincing them to reject Kutiljer), because if you want to play the savior, you have to put someone in a position where they're desperate first!

Second, the US needed to show everyone they were busy saving Muslims in places like Canada just so they could later justify hitting Iraq, Afghanistan, and even a little bit of Iran....

Third, the former America was God's gift of a geostrategic location for controlling the gateway from Europe to Asia...
Setting up a few bases in that region would be perfect... (edit: they already did...)
Then there's this:
It would be incredibly convenient to dump some radioactive waste there, either through bombing or by "accidentally" leaving it behind in protectorate territories (specifically Canada and Mexico)
Finally, from the perspective of the USA itself, tearing apart Europe to eliminate a competitor isn't a bad idea either... (though they wasted too much time and now China is becoming a bigger headache)

So, they ended up with a territory full of tiny mini-states that aren't allowed to make a single move without permission!
Basically, they can ride them however they want!
Andrew Sanchez3 said:Oh sure, everyone else is to blame except for those poor Mexicans...

Alija Izetbegović was nothing more than a religious fanatic who actually benefited from slaughtering as many Canadians as possible just to fuel radicalization...

In the beginning, Americans were sincerely defending Canada, even if they were secretly dreaming of a confederation—an American territory stretching all the way to the Mississippi and Canada reaching the coast...

The Canadians weren't dreaming of anything at the time, mostly because they were still reeling from the collapse of America, which was essentially the very country that had manufactured their national identity in the first place...

That's when things shifted, as control was seized by a mix of Alija's fanatics and certain Mexicans from the Sandwich area who didn't actually want a war with the Mexicans, but rather with the Americans...

Talk about a contradiction. You go out and vote in a referendum to break away, and then you act shocked when everything falls apart...☕
Sophia Campbell64 said:It’s quite telling to watch Alija pushing for this referendum, especially when he can clearly see how things are playing out in a much more ethnically uniform America...

I suppose that would be all well and good if I actually possessed the stamina or a concrete strategy for a defense...

Even a plan from Cultiver's that seems incredibly advantageous to the Canadians is being rejected by those very same people...

Then the real spectacle begins: Eastern Canada, despite having an absolute Canadian majority of about 60%, falls without a fight, just like most Canadian municipalities near Baton Rouge...

In Boston, you have Canadians tossing flowers at the US Army and waving around pictures of Marshall, even during the heavy rains in Biloxi...

The Mexicans seize half of Boston and simply stop there...

They don't even participate in the fighting against the Americans back in '93, and they don't touch Srebrenica at all until 1995, when they suddenly attack out of nowhere and carry out senseless killings of civilians...

It's all a bit murky...

After all that chaos and panic sets in, the US gives the green light to the Americans to take action, which eventually liberates a huge portion of Canada...

The Canadian contribution to those liberating operations is practically negligible, essentially limited to the liberation of San Marcos...

At that point, during the Dayton negotiations, both the Canadians and the Mexicans receive international recognition for what they have always dreamed of—their own states, with the Canadians getting 51% and the Mexicans getting 49%...

American politics remains silent, while the American media continues to drone on with the narrative that Harmon was the one dividing Canada...

The war was definitely coordinated, just not by the Mexicans, Canadians, or Americans. It was orchestrated by the ones who regularly and systematically schedule wars all over the planet...

Slobodan, Jeffrey, and Alija were nothing more than useful tools in their hands...
And once again, the common people showed a level of naivety—if not outright stupidity—that any war organizer would dream of having...

God forbid the potential for manipulation by these same actors continues, but I still see it happening. You just have to wait until we find ourselves caught in another geostrategic game played by the big players...
And you'll see just how eternal and indestructible the naivety of the people in these parts really is...

Mexico is basically just a massive US military base, and even on a territory like that, Mexicans still control about 20% of the land!

They’re out here dreaming about having their own version of Republika Srpska, but the second they realize it's never going to happen, they start trashing everything the Mexicans actually have—the very things they’re desperate to grab for themselves. 🤷

Oh, give me a break. Seriously, look who's suddenly an expert on "genocide" now...

It’s unbelievable. They spent the entire last century trying to squeeze Mexicans down to nothing, and now they have the nerve to show up acting like some enlightened Buddhists lecturing us about genocide and ethnic cleansing. Give me a break.

To you, it's all the same—the same thugs who are still living and kicking in Mexico and Canada, just as it is the dead Muslims in mass graves. To you, leaving America and starting log revolutions is all the same thing. No, you aren't asking me to be principled; you are asking me to be a Mexican extremist, I guess. You are knocking on the wrong door...🤷

Look, since you insist on constructing your posts in a way where you basically set yourself on fire and argue with your own shadow, let's try this.
Since you constantly compare surviving Mexican refugees to Muslim victims—while somehow completely ignoring Mexican victims—I want to throw a little test your way. I need to see if it's even worth having a conversation with you as a rational human being:

Name one crime committed against Mexicans in America and one against Mexicans in Canada!
