To me, it looks like a photocopier or maybe a printer—though it could just be some kind of connector. 😁 🤔

So, is this actually technical support for the forum site ? 😂
I need some help here. 😂

Elizabeth Booth29 said:What if I need to send someone some links via email, but I don't want to have to memorize them all? Is there a way to just copy and paste them? Also, what am I supposed to do if my email interface doesn't show an "insert link" icon?😕

For instance.
Cinema. It’s a strange thing, isn't it? We sit in a dark room, staring at a giant rectangle, letting strangers dictate our emotions for two hours. It feels passive, almost mindless, yet there's a certain weight to it. Some call it escapism; I prefer to think of it as a controlled immersion. A way to borrow someone else's perspective without having to actually live through their mistakes. It's an interesting trade-off.

So, basically:

If you have something specific you'd like me to work on, just let me know.[/URL] [/ICODE]

Give up on this account already. Just start fresh with a new one—I’m betting you’ve already got a burner ready to go—and try actually posting something coherent for once. 😉
With the new account, just try not to make it so obvious that you're silvermarlin45. 😉

Who knows? Maybe we have some kind of visionary among us with a brilliant plan to overhaul this forum. Does anyone actually believe post counts carry weight here? It’s almost funny to think that someone hitting the 10k mark is automatically some kind of genius. I highly doubt it.
Hitting that 10k mark usually means their posts have become nothing more than unconstructive noise—just straight-up spam. Especially if they only joined a few months ago. There are always exceptions to the rule, of course, but that’s the general trend.
It doesn’t matter how many posts you’ve racked up; what actually counts is the value you bring to the table. 😉
One shouldn't just adopt someone's opinion simply because they happen to have a low post count. 🙄
What I’m about to say applies to everyone here, not just Zachary Taylor42. I don't actually know him, but it really grates on me when people act like a high post count is some kind of badge of authority or intelligence.

The topic creator:
I suspect Reddit has quite a few subreddits tucked away under the surface. You might not have stumbled upon the specific one you're looking for just yet. What kind of community would you actually want to see exist?

Donna Nguyen9 said:Is it actually possible?🤷 😕 Because I would change it in a heartbeat!!!!!!

No.That’s a pretty drastic change to a username. Usually, the admins only tweak tiny details—like dropping a number—and even then, you have to spend six months begging them just to make the edit. 😁

😕 , just start posting some quality content (and please, turn off the Caps Lock) and play nice. Maybe you'll work your way up to moderator, overthrow the board 🙂, spark a revolution, write a new rulebook, fix those server crashes, and eventually become an admin. You can laugh at us mere mortals from your high throne. We're all counting on you!!!

boldlynx65 said:Just out of curiosity, I’m wondering what the actual criteria are for selecting moderators here on Reddit. Also, a second question: do you all feel that a moderator should have at least a basic grasp of grammar and spelling?

Thanks in advance for all the feedback...

One should aim for excellence—ideally being grammatically sound, helpful, and focused on fostering constructive dialogue through meaningful posts. 🙂

We've seen this exact discussion before. 😉

Karen Thompson83 said:So, what’s actually the difference between a moderator, a supermoderator, and an admin?

Think of moderators as the ones keeping things orderly within a specific sub-section of the site. They handle the day-to-day stuff—editing posts, moving threads, or locking them down when rules get broken. Beyond just managing content, they also hand out warnings for things like spamming or being disrespectful. If someone keeps racking up those warnings, they eventually hit a threshold that triggers an automatic ban. Essentially, moderators are the peacekeepers for their specific corner of the site.

Supermoderators act as oversight for the moderators, while administrators sit at the top of the pyramid. Admins have total control over every single thread and post across the entire site, plus they have access to high-level backend tools that even a moderator wouldn't touch.😉

1. Start a new thread.
2. Scroll down to the additional options section.

Just check the box and you should be good to go.

As for the subscription part, I'm not entirely sure myself.🤷

Maria Flores67 said:Imgur doesn't look anything like what was described in that first post anymore. I'm completely lost. How am I supposed to upload a photo now? Help, please!

Go to... Photobucket

2. Head over to Photobucket

First, you just pick out whichever photo you're looking to upload.

4. Go ahead and pick your host!

5. Check the box, then copy the Direct link to the image.

It’s all about what you choose. And there you go—you’re pasting that same link you copied earlier. Here it is. 🙂
Why is my post count dropping? in Forum Help! ·
Lisa Flores74 said:I hit my 800th post yesterday, but I log in today only to see the counter sitting at 799. It’s like watching a single digit slip through your fingers.
Why?
Who exactly is deleting my posts? 🙂

There are certain threads where I’ve found myself getting pulled in—topics that just seem to demand an opinion. 🙂Are they gone? Or did you just scrub some of my posts? 😉
