No, he just saw a crowd that isn't worth the trouble of messing with or trying to fight against.

Charles Chase4 said:Of course they’re ridiculous, much like any story claiming some inherent difference in "divine mentality" based on being an ocean away from 249 miles.

It’s easy to act like a monolith when your opponent isn't sitting on two billion dollars, backed by the police, the courts, an entire city, twelve consecutive league titles, slapping rivals, and five Champions League trophies. Our current project at Hajduk Split was essentially born from a handshake between a few visionaries and Kerum, who basically handed over the club because he thought it was going under and wanted to wash his hands of the whole mess. There aren't any legendary moves we've pulled that haven't also happened in Chicago, but what I wrote above is really the bottom line. I don't mean that in a bad way; I'm just saying there's no point in getting worked up over these things, regardless of which side you're on.

It's not that, he's just shitting himself. We only have to remember how everything tanked after the massive crowds showed up for the Hajduk-Inter Zaprešić match and see what happened next. Vidija saw exactly what was coming.

I suppose Real Madrid is your pride and joy, but you lot—you soulless, lost causes without even a shred of identity—really ought to realize that the Boston Red Sox belong to us, no matter how much of a joke they might seem right now. <3

I don't know about that—it's hard to say things haven't changed when the whole repertoire of chants is completely different now.😁

I'm not quite sure why you're trying to pick a fight over this right now, but honestly, they probably let them go simply because they had the power to do it.

So, basically, never. 😁

Elizabeth Mendoza5 said:Just like how half the Hajduk roster seems to have wandered aimlessly into a soccer career, a bunch of people who couldn't care less about the game ended up wandering onto the supporter stands yesterday. Personally, watching those people was more exhausting than actually watching the match itself—seeing folks heading for the exits early from the North Stand, or those teenagers who probably thought they were being incredibly edgy by posing for selfies while everything was happening around them... I won't even get started.🙂
Basically, this derby felt like a total farce compared to how things used to be, though if we're looking at it through an agent's lens, the Boys actually looked better than expected.

Oh, come on, don't be ridiculous. You have to look at the bigger picture here; everyone inside the group is just going to defend the honor of their section. At the end of the day, the Ultras have done a massive amount for this club, and that’s what really matters.

The chanting was pretty mediocre for most of it, though there were some decent pockets, especially toward the end when the conductor finally took charge. It was basically a masterclass in supporting during those final ten minutes. That's how you do it.

Nobody was even asking the Boys to step up because they were too busy dealing with getting crushed 0-4. They were just completely sidelined and irrelevant.

People talking about the club being run by Chicago locals? Look, the strength of a single group lies in the fact that they fought for a "one member, one vote" system, and the players actually show respect to the fans and listen to them.

mellowhawk5 said:It’s funny hearing the biggest agents of the Ultras lecturing us on morality and honor. You guys are starting to act more like those fanatics who used to clash with the crowds in Istanbul or Turkey😁 Since you've clearly found your calling, why not just ask that heavy-set guy how much he's getting paid every month—aside from the kickbacks he's taking? 🙂

P.S. GUYS, maybe hit the gym; I think the guys over in Poland might actually hold you to a higher standard.😁

The Ultras are a legitimate movement if you look at the bigger picture—the choreographies, the highway brawls, all that stuff.

Sure, you were all busy recording the displays and flares on your massive smartphones, but honestly, give me a break.

nimblecobra42 said:There was this guy from the hardcore fan group on a news segment on a national network earlier, and he was basically saying he doesn't get why he’s been blacklisted when he’s never actually done anything wrong. Then Mueller chimed in and said that's impossible, suggesting the kid should just head down to the Police Department so they can explain exactly why his name is on that list. Honestly, I think it's high time we all step up, especially those of us who got banned after the Lakers vs Celtics game.
i if someone could please dig up Antolic's email address, that would be great.

For everyone else who’s been blacklisted for "verbal offenses," you really need to start organizing and making some noise following that Lakers vs Celtics match.

This is our moment. It’s now or never.

Christmas is coming up fast, which means a three-month break without any action. Pressure is going to drop off next week, so this is the window.

The San Francisco supporters need to put some serious pressure on the front office regarding the scheduling for Los Angeles Locomotive in the MLS. I honestly find it hard to believe they’re actually approving this. It’s pretty obvious certain people are getting under the table payouts if they're staying this quiet. I suppose it serves their interests too, keeping San Francisco in the title hunt.

The core group needs to lean on that heavy-set guy who keeps making these vague, double-sided statements.

The Republican Party needs to fall. If they don't go down now, they never will.

I honestly don't get why anyone is claiming credit here. For what, exactly? Taking credit because the ball keeps rolling? It’s a joke. Not a single resignation has been handed in, and there hasn't been a single arrest. Nothing. In a few years, people will be heading to jail over some flares, and they'll be brawling over nothing, while everyone else won't even be able to watch the action from the stands because they'll be stuck in a holding cell for a long stretch. So, tell me, what is the USSF actually going to lose?

It’s just like when people start arguing about who was the first to screw up or who drinks more. That’s how most of these debates go when someone tries to look at the bigger picture.

We need to turn up the heat on the political establishment, because they’re the ones keeping this whole mess afloat. Honestly, someone should just hire a top-tier lawyer and take the New York Yankees to court over those blacklists and shady lists they cook up whenever they feel like it. It’s a blatant violation of our basic democratic rights and human liberties.

The way things work here, we’re governed by a bunch of political parties masquerading as a democracy, which means we really have to squeeze them. We need to push back against those representatives in D.C., too. I’m talking about being more aggressive, even if we’re doing it through peaceful channels.

And for heaven's sake, don't turn down those media appearances. If you skip the interviews, you're just letting the narrative spin out of control without any pushback.

It’s honestly terrifying what kind of country we live in right now.

To be perfectly honest, I find most people in this country even more repulsive than Mamic. There are so many sycophants just feeding his ego. And then there are the folks who still stand behind guys like Bandic or Kerum—criminals who built their fortunes directly off our backs. Actually... I'd better just stop typing before I get carried away.

reddrifter24 said:More than anything, I value this chanting of cargo; their jealousy is eating them alive, and that message sent through those chants will eventually come true.

Wait a second. You clearly don't grasp that your guys were handed year-long bans just because they were supporting their club and chanting against the USSF. Not to mention how certain individuals weren't even allowed into San Francisco because of the blacklisting tactics running out of Yankee Stadium. Is this really all it takes for you to sound the alarm?

I doubt Brubaker would last a single day in Miami if he tried to pull that nonsense there or start implementing blacklists at Hard Rock Stadium. He wouldn't even get through the door. That’s the point... The Armada will settle the score when the time is right.

I'm not sure if your club even recognizes those guys who were shouting and subsequently banned. And honestly, why should they care when everything in the MLS seems perfectly fine to you people.

Why is nobody from Cleveland talking about the Locomotives?
Well, Koch is sitting at the top of both the USSF and the First Division Association, claiming everything is just wonderful.

I get that you're all enjoying the club's success, but you shouldn't be dismissing the fact that it's all happening thanks to Mamic's help. For crying out loud, Mamic is the one paying Krstanovic. Seriously?

You could have spent yesterday shouting against the USSF fifteen times over, but apparently, you didn't. You probably weren't even sure, since you weren't even watching...🤷

stormybison9 said:people are just lying to themselves

You hit the nail on the head. People lie to themselves constantly, hypocrisy is everywhere, and most folks are far too busy looking out for their own interests to care about anything else. That’s just how the world turns, I suppose.

Honestly, look at our numbers—the ratio of workers to retirees is getting dangerously close to a breaking point. We’ve got over 200,000 people tied up in the public sector alone. The public just cycles through two main political parties, voting for the same old thing in the next election even when things couldn't possibly be any worse than they already are.

As for protests... please. In California, everything revolves around retail and a tourism industry that's basically exploding right now. That's really all there is to it. If it's a nice winter day, or especially during the spring or fall, the streets are packed with people grabbing coffee. Everyone finds a way to scrape by, even though I don't think I've ever seen this much poverty on the streets as I have lately.

Tourism is basically carrying the whole damn country on its back... the season in San Francisco lasts about four or five months now. Throw in people flocking to Coachella, and you've got a vibe. Half my friends work exclusively during the season and then spend the rest of the year trying to stretch those earnings out.

There's no real manufacturing left. I could go on forever. We're basically just a New York City without the substance; nothing comes from us. Just a bunch of peasants sucking up to Washington, D.C. under the table. It's pathetic.

At the end of the day, every single argument just boils down to who’s packing more heat 😁

It would have been a real blessing if the Rose Bowl had stayed completely empty for the final game

Jerry Morris2 said:Just hands! As long as nobody ends up losing their head! And to those players—mine included—I’m telling them they better grow some backbone or just get the hell away from the fans. It doesn't have to be a full-blown riot, but I'd much rather take a punch from ten people with their hands than deal with one lunatic hitting me with something from eight hundred yards away and leaving me disabled for life. 🙂

Oh, please. Where was all this shouting when you guys were out on the streets staging massive displays to celebrate your wins? Were those all just "hands only" too? Or was it mostly just empty talk behind the scenes at places like Madison Square Garden or the local arenas? It’s impossible to believe there wasn't any property damage involved. Look, nobody actually wants anyone to get hurt or end up in a wheelchair, but this sudden wave of moralizing in a country where street fights have always been part of the landscape feels a little late to the party.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Reading through this, I can't tell if it's just incredibly funny or actually kind of depressing.

Look, you’ve got two rival groups clashing on the street, they play their game, and that’s the end of it. Those of us who weren't standing there in the middle of the fray don't really have any right to lecture those guys. Honestly, have you people no shame? Over time, the violence will die down and the van smashing will surely stop, but nobody who’s actually been in the thick of it knows what it feels like when the eyes turn on you, your legs go numb, and the adrenaline just takes over and pushes you forward. There isn't some deep philosophy behind it.

Clearly, you all think you're geniuses who know exactly what went down. But I hear my buddies from NYC saying they respect our side of things. If they're happy with how it played out, then fine, let them be... though there's that old saying about not whining or crying about it once it's all over. This cycle of repression is going to stick around even after Mommy is gone, and it'll continue as a game passed down through the generations. Let's just hope there's a little less violence next time and leave it at that.

I mean, how much does it actually take for someone to just sell their soul? It’s honestly baffling. It isn't like these people are all starving or sleeping on the streets, right? I can't wrap my head around why they aren't capable of just earning a decent living on their own. There are just some things about human nature that I'll never quite grasp. It always comes back to this: money, money, and more money. That’s just where the world is headed, I guess.

ps. But wait, wasn't there constant infighting between these same people before? What are they going to be doing together now? It feels strange... either it's a massive coincidence, or there's something shady pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Everything they’ve said lately is spot on. Honestly, the debates happening here are basically playground arguments meant for toddlers, just looping endlessly in circles. It’s almost hard to laugh because of how pathetic it all feels. When you have someone from Washington, D.C. acting like some kind of high-brow comedy expert for a few people, you realize just how low the bar has dropped. 😍
