wanderingviper14 said:Why is everyone so quick to pile on Podrug and Kerum? It feels like they're the only targets in sight, yet we conveniently forget that the Democratic Party and HNS council members were actually standing firmly against the guarantee, while the rest of the group just stayed neutral. Honestly, shouldn't they get a little credit for their stance, or is everyone just choosing to look at this through a very biased lens?

What’s really the difference between being cautious and being flat-out against it? I mean, sure, the vibe might feel slightly different, but at the end of the day, the club isn't going to land that same credit either way.

Here are the facts:

It’s always the same routine with Luka Podrug and the Dinamo crowd; before every single meeting regarding Hajduk, he stages this manufactured little meltdown against the Democratic Party and the HNS to stir the pot. He acts like some offended child, rallying the crowd from the GV to storm out, and we all remember that ridiculous stunt where the radio station attacked them for being weak, only for everyone to band together and walk out just like that. It’s the exact same playbook every single time, and honestly, it feels like people are just too easily swayed by the drama. They were all in on it with Kerum back in the day—Baja Jurjevic and Kerum included—and Podrug is still right there supporting him.

It’s honestly hilarious watching Luka Podrug try to weigh in now. This guy pulled fewer votes in the last election than the number of members listed in that Organization project from last year, yet here he is, acting like he has some kind of moral authority to speak up. I mean, seriously, where does he get off? You’d think instead of calling meetings and stirring the pot just because he holds a seat on the City Council, he’d actually be doing his job—like protecting our city assets from all the frauds and cronies who have managed to worm their way into the club. But no, he’d rather play politics. It's pretty pathetic, really.

So, Ivo Baldasar—that Democratic Party guy who was gunning for Mayor—decided to step up to the microphones just a day or two before that infamous Friday, basically announcing his support for the cause. It’s about damn club loyalty.Maybe if they waited twenty-four hours, that decision would actually carry some weight, and they might have caught the rest of the leftists standing against it—including Gojko Čepo from ST 3, who’s a regular up in the North stands. But no, the vote is already in. Against it.Just so everyone is on the same page regarding the City Council... apparently, this guy and Tomislav Gojo from the Republican Party have been holding subscriptions for years—one covering the North side and the other handling the East. Most of the rest are just blatant populists who only bother mentioning the club's name when they need a political boost for their daily agendas. I remember there was that one kid too; if I recall correctly, he used to drag Kerum’s party folks along to various media appearances, but honestly, take that with a grain of salt since it's just something I heard through the grapevine.

Those idiots on the City Council—the same ones who’ve been shaking down the club for twenty years—are refusing to vote on the guarantee. It’s absolute madness; they act like owners, yet they couldn't care less about protecting their own assets. Honestly, it's embarrassing. They should be forced to address the issue regarding the old grounds that were supposed to belong to Hajduk. See, the actual owners granted all rights of possession and usage to the club via a deed of gift, but the City of Miami basically snatched it for themselves through media manipulation and straight-up brainwashing. This whole mess went to court once, and if I remember correctly, the initial ruling actually favored the club. That was until the City sent in their hand-picked people to take over the club's leadership, and naturally, the club lost the old grounds in the process. Those cowards won't even touch the subject, let alone investigate it.

Honestly, nobody seems to give a damn about the club lately, let alone what our youth academy actually needs to thrive. How on earth are we supposed to climb to the top when the City of Los Angeles is basically handing Dinamo a blank check? I mean, they’re pumping in enough cash to cover 70% of our entire operating budget. It’s an absolute disgrace, both from the federal government and the local leadership here in Miami.

If we hit a sixth bankruptcy, it’s basically a death sentence for the club. Let's be real: Hajduk doesn't actually own any assets to pay back creditors. Everyone can stop obsessing over dropped points for a second and look at the bigger picture. If the bankruptcy trustee shows up and finds nothing to sell, they aren't going to start offloading players, nor are they going to touch the stadium since that’s owned by the City of Miami under a concession to the club. In my opinion, this whole scenario just ends up screwing everyone—from the small-time shareholders to the big players like Andabak or Rimac. It would dump us straight into the bottom tier of the league, and who knows if we’d ever climb back out, or even if we’d still exist. And honestly, who's to say things would actually be more honest than they are now? For all we know, ten years from now, we'll just be right back where we started, dealing with the same old political cronies.

Tomorrow, everyone better be ready to go all out. We have to face the reality that without this guarantee, we’re staring down a dead end. Honestly, just skip those first three hours of school, college, or daycare tomorrow—just call in sick. It’s going to be a massive day for all of us... whether you're part of the NFL Ultras, the hooligans, the casual fans, or even the absolute cowards.

Maybe I didn't phrase this quite right, but I'm just feeling incredibly frustrated right now... honestly, I have such a deep-seated disdain for those politicians and journalists who spend their entire lives just brainwashing the public, man. 😠

Ronald Brooks75 said:Honestly, that sounds like a pretty solid suggestion—having everyone with a season pass grab a ticket too. I don't know the exact number of season ticket holders, but if we're looking at maybe 5,000 people, and everyone spends about $13, that’s an extra $200,000 just from a single game.

I'll probably end up grabbing five tickets myself, but I really can't stand those acquaintances who have plenty of cash constantly hitting me up before every home game asking if I'll toss them a season pass so they can get in cheap. No way, not happening!

With this crowd, we could easily pack the stadium several times over—think about when California plays at home next weekend, or the big matchup against the Lakers, or the anniversary celebrations, and so on...

The club really ought to be doing more to rally the fans, though their marketing department seems to be moving at a snail's pace lately; they talk a big game, but they just never quite get around to it.🙄

I don't think you or your brilliant little insights are going to pull them out of this mess.

If they actually signed the papers, the bankruptcy would be settled immediately, giving us a chance at a clean slate built on solid ground—something that ensures we don't end up right back here in a few years when some new Freddy, some new politicians, or some new mayors come along just to screw over the club again.

So, feel free to keep playing the genius if you want, but go ahead and delete this if it’s off-topic.

placidheron16 said:Honestly, every single argument boils down to the same thing: whenever the leadership holds a meeting, they just end up birthing some old version of the Black Knights, whether it’s here on the forum or out in the streets. To be perfectly blunt, I’ve had enough of all of you. This younger crowd running the stands right now—they don't want to involve the kids. Look, the kids are great, but there has to be an understanding of who is actually footing the bill and making things happen. You have to be firm with the younger generation; you need to teach them from day one what it actually means to live this lifestyle, rather than letting them act like children over the last few years, just sitting there while other groups try to boss them around. And hey, legend, looking at those photos of yours, our young guys aren't looking at anyone with any kind of malice; if anything, we're actually craving some friendship and solidarity among us. But how can that happen when that legendary leader promises full support in front of a hundred people at the last meeting, saying he’ll stand with us in the stands, only to show up to the game and spend the whole time mocking us alongside his little inner circle? He claims it’s too hard for him to come to the stands because the emotions will overwhelm him—he’s acting like a washed-up veteran retiring from the pros. My respect for him evaporated once I realized he’s treated like a cult icon. If we have to wait for his followers to give their blessing before the rest of us can actually become "us," then the concept of "us vs. them" will just keep repeating forever. We can only truly start fresh once individual egos are minimized and these ego trips finally crash and burn... but those are just two minor details in this entire circus.

I used to defend him in some of my posts back before the big matchup in Chicago, but seeing him just sitting there in the stands while the guys are out there grinding...

The energy is gone, just pure disappointment. Plus, everyone keeps mentioning the mocking behavior, but I don't know. It's crazy that one single person can hold this much weight, seriously...

If this isn't what the forum is about, then just delete it.

I’d love to see this play out during the next game against the LA Chargers mmmmmmm

Matthew Foster8 said:Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, and it’s more likely they’d just say we make up about 80% of the crowd... but really, we’re talking about a massive majority that started getting diluted by a series of unfortunate circumstances in the following years.
When I was talking about 100%, I was thinking back to my first trip down to the South where about 150 of us headed out from the coast—a true Black Knights contingent. I still remember being at the entrance to town when the rocks started flying at our buses... everyone reacted as one single unit. I won't dwell on it too much, it doesn't really matter now...
And now I'm thinking about that incident in Connecticut a few years back when those other fans attacked the buses similarly... such a huge crowd. One group stood their ground immediately... while the rest of them, well, it's better not to even mention what happened... they just walked out and kept cheering.🙄

I have to ask.

Why didn't we head out to those same spots twenty years ago for the Boys' game in rural Pennsylvania?

What makes this any different?

It’s always easy to sit back and throw shade when you aren't the one doing the heavy lifting; honestly, being a critic in this hollowed-out city is the easiest job there is. Nobody ever stops to look in the mirror and ask what they could actually contribute or how they could step up for their own group. I am getting pretty sick of reading these endless lectures—people acting like they're delivering some grand sermon at a funeral, preaching about how the club is functioning while ignoring reality. Who actually cares about what happened decades ago? ( we’re living in the present, and if we want to move forward, we have to focus on now ). Someone should go grab a beer, find the guys on the ground, and have a real conversation, because this online posturing is completely pointless. You see people still obsessing over the Black Knights from the eighties in 2012, everyone finding something to complain about; we really are a cynical bunch, aren't we? Just a collection of small-minded people who would rather toss stones than actually support the outsiders who show up 622 miles just to help us take down an opponent! The Ultras are absolutely livid right now. We have so much potential, and if we just spent more time actually hanging out and getting to know one another instead of fighting, the sky would be the limit.

There’s a good line that comes to mind... turn off the internet, ditch the computer... toss that old cassette aside and go buy a scooter 😁

You haven't even given the guys a fair shake before you start spitting venom; everyone thinks they're an expert here. Nobody has an ounce of self-reflection or humility left—everyone wants to be the boss of the pack.

If every one of these "geniuses" took just one hour away from acting smart on this forum to actually make a flag, there wouldn't be enough people in the South on Saturday to go around with all the gear we'd have.

Keep talking your trash...

More flags just mean better photos online, which is the least of our worries, and there are plenty of people handling that side of things.

Man, what are you trying to say? Just put your head down and work; hard work is the only thing that saves you. 😍

We need support coming straight from the heart of the stands, not some sideline critics, and without someone capable of rallying the troops, we're just going to end up looking pathetic in the bleachers this Saturday.

Authorities... hmph... people can say whatever they want. Setting aside the local gossip and small talk... if the leadership actually stepped up to the plate... the anthems would sound a lot different...

But hey... time will tell...🙂

ruggedowl13 said:He wasn't picked based on any official Code, and let's be honest, nobody is putting him on a pedestal because of his club stats; they just stopped breathing down his neck and gave him enough rope to see what he could actually do. Unfortunately, he didn't have much to show for it. As for the whole "Stovria" craze, that was just a flash in the pan fueled by the excitement of uncovering corruption, mostly because a lot of us were naive enough to believe that this wave would finally clean up the mess in the MLS. Looking back, we were definitely being naive.
Hajduk is basically a child playing at being grown up, and if we actually sold the club to someone like Abramovich, it wouldn't be the people's club anymore—it would just be some billionaire's private playground. I know there are people out there dreaming of that kind of cash injection, but for others, that’s effectively the death of everything the supporters stand for.
Personally, I feel like sticking to the current path is the right call given how things are playing out—especially with the way we're distancing ourselves from the Rice situation and letting Noah handle his own business—so I think we just need to stay the course and push forward.

It’s also pretty clear that everything revolves around him—he’s essentially the sun that the entire club and its whole atmosphere orbit around.

Look, if the new president and the incoming board don't clear out people like Freddy, Grbic, or Frfa Muznic—the very individuals who have done so much damage to this club—then honestly, we might as well just give up. If they don't make those moves, then nobody can help us, and we’re left staring down the barrel of bankruptcy unless some wealthy benefactor swoops in to save the day. We'll see if the oversight committee actually has the guts to dissolve the current leadership, or if Grbic will just slide right back into his comfortable spots alongside the insiders who have been systematically bleeding this club dry. It really comes down to accountability, which is a pretty reasonable thing to demand, isn't it? Especially with the current financial state of things, we need a total pivot in strategy, a massive reduction in staff, and serious layoffs to stop the bleeding before the club completely collapses under its own weight.

It wasn't the guys on the pitch who failed us today; they gave everything they had for a club that’s spent most of the last twenty years fighting just to stay relevant. No, the blame lies with the suits upstairs. After everything we've endured—the heartbreak against teams like Sampdoria or Debrecen, those hollow wins against local underdogs, and all those titles that felt more stolen than earned—they really thought they could just head home to their estates after yesterday? We took a massive hit yesterday, a total blowout, yet you still see people out on the streets having a drink, almost instinctively. It was spontaneous, a collective reaction to the mess we're in. But sure, go ahead and keep running your little tactical analyses, trying to figure out why we couldn't hold our own against Inter Milan, a team whose locker room setup probably costs more than our entire roster combined.

It doesn't always have to be all or nothing—it doesn't always have to be pitch black or blindingly bright. There’s plenty of room for a little gray in between, you know? But honestly, around here, we never seem to find that middle ground.😍

restlessbear25 said:Not one of the brilliant minds on this forum seems to realize that we have to cough up 4.5 million to San Diego by July 30th, so playing at home on August 2nd actually makes perfect sense if we want to sell enough tickets to save the club, right?

By then, even the bank loans won't be finalized, the city won't be able to lend us the cash for those payments, and the only way to keep our century-old club afloat is to host Inter Milan at Polstad Stadium, pack the stands, and pay off the debt.

And nobody is suggesting we give up on qualifying for the next round; we just need fast, liquid cash, and I think we’ll crush Inter both on the pitch and in the stands!!

Whether we play the first leg at home or away doesn't change much; if we put the tickets on sale immediately on the 27th and 28th, they'll sell regardless of the venue. If they go on sale then, the stadium will be full and everyone will be happy, especially since plenty of season tickets should move too—but apparently, that’s not how anyone here thinks things work. Makes sense, doesn't it?☕

Nicholas Lopez63 said:Honestly, if you think about it... it’s actually way easier to just flip a ticket than it is to deal with all that other stuff. $33 I can't quite wrap my head around when we actually see that first real spark around here, you know? Like, when does someone finally show up with a few solid pieces already established in the network?
I have to say, I’m right there with you on the idea that the stadium would be absolutely packed regardless, and honestly, I couldn't agree more with that last point you made.

I mean, honestly, if you put those tickets up for sale before August 2nd, you’ve basically got the entire weekend to clear them out before that first match in Milan, and everything is going to be sold out—not to mention you’ll have already moved a few thousand memberships.

Is it really that hard to pull off? Honestly, it’s pretty obvious. It would be a lot easier to just fold your hand and walk away right now.

Here’s the coverage from the Miami Herald...

It's an absolute disgrace!

I honestly can't believe this; I just started my two-week vacation today, and this is what they decide to pull, leaving everyone completely rattled. Even Brbic is out there giving statements basically implying it's a shame we got knocked out so early because now they have to focus on filling the coffers instead. It's pathetic.

What kind of nonsense is this? How is it even possible to reschedule a match in a major European tournament? This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing happening.

I mean, fine, let them take the win if that's how it works, but I am just fed up with the sheer incompetence here. To hell with all of them. If they hadn't been so incredibly foolish and had actually put the tickets on sale Friday morning before the first game, they would have sold out all the way to Milan by now. Are they really that dense? Honestly, I'm just bitter and exhausted by it all.

Instead of getting those tickets moving immediately, they choose to play some half-hearted game of "let's see what happens" while the management just folds under pressure. They've already surrendered. This doesn't even feel like my club anymore; they just gave up right away. Why do they even bother showing up to play at all if this is the attitude? 😠

What we’re really looking at here is essentially fans and other investors lending money directly to the Kansas City Chiefs, basically committing their capital for a five or six-year stretch. These investors would earn annual interest, and once that initial period wraps up, they’d get their full principal back. Of course, as Vjekoslav hrabar pointed out earlier, the whole catch is that this kind of financing only works if the club actually stabilizes itself—which means trimming the fat, getting rid of anyone who’s been dragging the team down, and finally turning a profit so they can actually afford to pay everyone back when the bonds mature. The Board of Directors seems pretty convinced that by bringing in Marina Brbić, they've found a leader capable of steering the ship in the right direction.

It’s a great interview, and honestly, a brilliant concept... a clean club, free from all those outside parasites and vultures. Whether our boys end up fighting through the grit to take first place or somehow end up under the thumb of some billionaire sheikh, the dream will always be to win it on our own terms. There really isn't any other way to do it; there just isn't.
