So, I had this dream where I was walking into the office, and this totally weird guy meets me at the door 🤔: "Welcome, sir. Nice to meet you. I'm Jordan Belfort, and this is our team. We have twenty highly educated professionals at your disposal," he says... "My name is neoncrane64, and I don't need anything more than a secretary earning thirty grand, no fancy college degree required—just some natural talent," I tell him. "Excellent choice, sir. Congratulations, sir!" the idiot replies. 🥱 Anyway, after that, I dreamed I was riding in some bright yellow taxi headed toward a museum. Once we arrived, I walked up to the curator and asked, "I want to see the Texan Wiley revolver collection," I said. "Excuse me, sir, I don't understand who Texan Wiley is," the moron replies. "You’ve gotta know Texan Wiley! The Night Eagle, the Navajo Chief, the Texas Ranger, the uneducated cowboy!" I barked at him. "I'm sorry, sir, I've never heard that name before," he says. God, Matt, give me a break—these idiots have seriously never even heard of Texan Wiley. 🤔
... so, rospija asks me, "how many mindless idiots are actually gonna show up?" Velin replies, "who knows? 🤔 maybe I'll just stay a month, toss two magazines in my bag so I don't have to hunt for reading material out there" "Two magazines? You'll be stinking like hell before you know it," she tells me. "And why would I stink? I'm not digging ditches; I'm gunning for that manager position," I fire back. "And don't you dare go looking at other women, you hear me?" she snaps. "Man, what kind of women could possibly be that distracting? If I have the time, the only thing I'm checking out is their museum to see the Tex Willer revolvers," I say. "You're an idiot. Honestly, the poor souls who think you're manager material are the real losers," she says, before stomping off into the kitchen. I immediately sneakily grab a Jean Playboy and a Maxi edition of Tex, just to make sure I've got something decent to read on the flight to New York. 😉
I’ve got to go trim the vineyard in a hurry, and damn it, this guy 🤦 just won't take no for an answer. My office phone starts ringing at work and my secretary goes, "Hey neoncrane64, the big boss is on the line." I tell her, "Yeah, put him through." Then he comes on, "Is that you, neoncrane64?" and I say, "Yeah, who else would it be? Matt, what's up?" He tells me, "You're gonna have to get to New York in the next few days; we're opening a new office on Wall Street and the pub needs a temporary manager just to get their feet under them for a bit." I try to protest, "Matt, please, I've got my vineyard to tend to..." but he cuts me off, "No, neoncrane64, don't give me that, just get over here, it's happening. I've got another line, talk later." God, I swear, why does he always have to be so sneaky? Who the hell is going to move to New York right now 🤦 ? Nobody on Wall Street 🤔—why the hell couldn't they pick somewhere closer ☕ ? I'm heading out to grab a drink first, then I'll let you guys know when I've got my suitcase packed 🥱 .
So, I’m just lying there this morning, lounging around and catching up on the news, when suddenly my wife starts venting at me. She goes, "How can you just lie there while I have to deal with the laundry, the cooking, the cleaning, and everything else..." The decibel level in the room spiked instantly. I finally tossed my paper aside and asked her—much to her surprise—"Alright, what do you need help with?" She went dead silent for a second before snapping, "Fine, go to the grocery store. I'll make you a list." So, I decided to walk instead of driving; I figured I could get some steps in since I hadn't actually set foot in a local market in nearly a year. ☕ As I was walking down the street, I noticed this new fitness center had opened up. It was set back from the road, so I peeked inside and saw 😲 There was this young woman running on a treadmill, and man, those weights were shaking. Honestly, I was praying someone would jump in and help because it looked like she was about to 🙂 An older lady who was polishing some silverware inside spotted me and pulled down the security shutter 🤦 Still riding that high from seeing such a great workout scene, I kept heading toward the store. But once I stepped inside, I realized I didn't have a list after all. 🙈 I ended up wandering aimlessly through the aisles, completely forgetting what on earth she wanted me to pick up 🤔 so I just grabbed a six-pack of beer and headed home. On my way back, I noticed the shop's shutter was already pulled down. The second I walked through my front door, the volume levels in my house hit an all-time high. Doors were slamming everywhere; I practically sprinted for the bathroom while she stormed off to... well, you know.
Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to my thread. 🙂 You know how those grand openings work at places like Target or Walmart? They usually have those promos where the first ten customers walk away with some kind of prize or gift card—so hey, you might actually get lucky and snag something. 👍
Look, I’m not going to sit here and beg for anyone to like this or go deleting my posts, 🤔 but I figured I’d start sharing my experiences, my moods, my random observations, and just whatever else is on my mind, so basically, I’m envisioning this being a pretty mellow and heartfelt space, 🕺> though if anyone else feels like jumping in and posting their own stuff, be my guest. ☕> 🍿
Listen up, everyone, regarding this whole CNN subscription mess: do not let the inspector inside your house, because if you do, you better give them hell. Whatever you do, do not sign a single thing—they can't touch you, period. Don't listen to their nonsense; it’s all lies. These people are practically getting half the fine amount paid for them, and they have absolutely no way of proving whether you actually own a TV or not. Having an antenna isn't proof of anything, so don't fall for their empty threats.
