Where do you even draw the line when it comes to being "pure"? How do you define someone as more or less virtuous... is it about kids? People struggling with mental health? For me, being pure has always just felt like a synonym for being incapable of handling life on your own terms.

To address that first point of yours... No, you don't have to be a complete sociopath. I’ve never been that kind of person, and honestly, my conscience is clear. Life isn't some binary choice between being a saint or being ruthless. You just need to be decent to the people who actually treat you right, and then just cut the jerks off short without a second thought.

We’ll end up as the primary bottleneck for refugees and migrants, simply because the Canadians won't be letting anyone through, or if they do, it'll be at a snail's pace.

And honestly, how exactly do you think people are going to stop, say, 150,000 or 200,000 people from crossing? That little bit of wire? I don't know if you've actually looked at it, but you could snip right through that with some cheap shears from a Home Depot... It's a different story when you're talking about building a massive wall like they did near the Palestinian border, but constructing something like that? That's a much taller order...
And don't be surprised if we start getting a little "proactive" ourselves... when things aren't working out and nobody is listening to reason, sometimes you just have to play dirty...😁
Until the Germans finally grow a pair and make a real decision that they actually stand behind, everything else is just a waste of breath...

The only thing we can truly control is removing ourselves from the equation. We certainly aren't going to solve everything involving Syria, Turkey, Iraq, ISIS, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Sweden, the USA, or Russia.
They can all just head over to Italy on their own. Arrivederci...

Exactly. We can sit here acting helpless or pretending to care, but the reality is that we don't even show up on the map of some mid-sized Chinese city. In these high-stakes political games, we're completely irrelevant to the heavy hitters. It's frustrating...

Trying to push those problems away is an uphill battle, especially since our geography puts us right in the crosshairs—we're basically the shortest route between East and West. We need to play this smart, rather than just acting like a buffer zone for the European Union while they couldn't care less what happens to us.
I’m pretty skeptical, honestly. It feels more likely that we'll just screw up, like we always do, simply because of our own incompetence...☕

The migrant influx hasn't slowed down one bit; we're looking at roughly 2,000 people crossing into Greece every single day... damn... this whole thing is turning into one massive refugee camp.

Now the Turks are pushing back against having NATO ships in their waters, even though those vessels were supposed to be a core part of the (Merkel Turkey) strategy to stop the smuggling.
So yeah, just write it off as a total failure.
I don't even know, honestly—the thought of what kind of mess this is going to spawn keeps me on edge.

The Greeks aren't just going to sit there and let themselves become some kind of permanent camp; they'll just start pushing people back to the border and deal with whatever happens next.

As for the Turks and whatever deals were made with them, forget it—that's not in their interest right now. Refugees are just a bargaining chip for them in the conflict over Syria, a way to put pressure on Europe. And the Germans? They don't have any real leverage with them... the only ones they actually listen to, somewhat, are the USA.

Anything could happen at this point. It was impossible to predict, too many players on the board, and everyone is just looking out for themselves...🍿
Dennis Hall41 said:I’ve given this a lot of thought, and honestly, I used to share that perspective, but now I’m just lost... I mean, if the Germans are calling them by that name themselves, what kind of "revenge" are we even talking about here?

They claimed that identity back in the day, thinking they could somehow wash away the sins of the Nazi era by rebranding themselves as this big humanitarian paradise of multiculturalism. But now that they're staring down millions of people, they're completely paralyzed. They bark at the Greeks about guarding the borders, throw out some empty platitudes about European unity, toss a few billion dollars toward the Turks... and in the end, nothing actually changes long-term. It's all just noise.
And the Greeks are still feeling the sting.☕...and if you ask me, they have every right to be.

Hey there.

Is there any chance for some power changes in Nex25?

Sure thing, just get in touch with rustydrifter10.

I'm putting together a new rig,
motherboard-ASUS MA785GT-UD3H, AMD 785G+SB710, S. AM3, 6xSerial ATA II
processor- AMD Athlon II X4 or maybe a Phenom II X2 550
RAM- 4gb ddr3, 400W Corsair power supply

The Radeon HD 4890 is at Best Buy $500 which feels a bit overkill... looking for something closer to $333 around $33
They don't have the GeForce GTS 250, but I saw a 1GB version at Micro Center for $313 and a 512mb one for $279... would that be a better move than getting a 9800GT? And honestly, what do you actually gain from those extra 512mb... is the difference really in $33?

I need some advice on which graphics card to pick... is it actually worth stepping up from the NVIDIA Gigabyte 9800 GT 512MB to the 1GB version? Like, what am I even gaining with those extra 512MB in a real-world scenario...

Or maybe I should just look at something from ATI in that $800 range...$333.
