Regarding the new FBI structure in Feedback & Suggestions ·
We actually dealt with the exact same stuff back on Fantastica for a long, long time
Honestly, I’ve got some pretty bitter memories from those days. It was pretty ugly when they finally decided to hire someone to run the moderation after we'd been flying solo for a whole year 😬
I mean, even rustydrifter10 used to drop by and say hi

But hey, I guess God gives His little sheep a glimmer of hope for a better tomorrow

Looks like even Scott Long71 has finally decided to start trolling the local Reddit wildlife ☕

I figured if all these other clowns are getting in on the action, why shouldn't I have a little fun too? Since it seems to be working for everyone else, I thought, why not me?

But then I see someone’s been busy scrubbing posts from this thread. I'm guessing that was the mods doing their thing, so consider this my official thumbs down.

As far as I'm concerned, you can just lock the whole thing up.

Just a quick question for the political mods

How much longer do you guys plan on letting a literal murderer get a platform in the thread from the title over at close to politics
Question for Alexander - new rule? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It feels like you can’t even use the ignore button anymore now that they’re rolling out this rule

And honestly, who’s actually going to be the judge in all of this? Like, who gets to decide if someone is genuinely harassing a person or if they’re just having a normal conversation with a potential "victim" in a space that was literally built for discussion?
Puppet of the Rothschilds and the banking lobby? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Maybe they would’ve preferred if they just called him a Soros plant instead,

So, basically, the bottom-feeders and the extremists can 😬
Edit: is anyone actually buying this nonsense?

Honestly, to me, the term follower carries a pretty nasty connotation. It feels a step softer than calling someone a cultist, but we all know what people really mean when they claim to be part of a "following."
But hey, if it doesn't break any rules, then whatever, fine by me.

Sorry for crashing the party here, but since I’ve got a question about a similar situation, I figured I’d just drop it in here instead of starting some whole new thread

Is it actually okay to call bridge supporters and voters "Sljedbounar"? And let's be real, that label isn't just for some imaginary voter base—it's being tossed around at the people right here on this forum too.
If we're playing by the rules, does that mean I can start calling left-wing voters communists or labeling the right-wing crowd as fascists? I mean, if we’re going to get all insulting and disrespectful, let's at least go all the way, right?

Joseph Stewart38 said:It doesn't have to happen, but if you look at what's been going down lately, it feels like it might just be the new reality. Just look at those concerts in Paris or even the recent chaos in Chicago. Personally, I’d be pretty sketched out about the crowds at shows like that. It’s not something I’d just brush off. Honestly, I’d probably steer clear of any massive gatherings in "multi-cultural" Europe altogether, just because of everything that's been happening.

As far as Thompson goes, though, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. In all the hundreds—maybe thousands—of shows he's played over the years, there hasn't been a single bomb, and frankly, I highly doubt one's going to pop off at his gigs.

I mean, you surely realize you're drawing some pretty shaky parallels here and jumping to the wrong conclusions, right?

Since you seem to be such an expert on the exact headcount at these concerts, why don't you go ahead and share those numbers with the rest of us?

Joseph Stewart38 said:It’s not some kind of racist nonsense; it’s just a perfectly normal question forced upon us by current events and the state of the world we live in.

So, basically, if you go to a concert and there’s a large Muslim crowd, there’s bound to be at least one suicide bomber in the mix?

Could someone walk me through that logic? Because to me, it sounds like you're stretching reasoning so far that it just turns into irrational, baseless fear.

Honestly, I’d be way more worried about showing up to a Thompson concert.

Honestly, I wouldn't feel even a tiny bit awkward about who I’d be talking about if that's what you're asking.
Besides, shouldn't you be feeling a little embarrassed yourself, typing out such blatant racist garbage?
History & Politics: Fascism in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It’s the same deal in real life—whoever sets the rules gets the final say on how things wrap up.

That’s why I’m asking what the actual ground rules are, just so I know how to navigate this whole debate without flying blind.

Look, I’m all for gender reassignment. Hey, if someone's happy, they're happy.

But I can't help but wonder about this specific rhetorical trick where, as soon as a debate splits into two camps, one side just jumps out and yells: "If you don't agree with [Insert My Opinion Here], then you're clearly a fascist."
I mean, logically speaking, the other half of the room shouldn't feel targeted by a statement like that, right?

So, let's get specific—could the opposition just fire back with: "Oh, so anyone advocating for gender reassignment is actually just a liberal fascist?"
CIA: Illuminati (2017) in Movies ·
Honestly, 🙂 I have zero clue if they even have plans for a sequel.
The first one was such a blast that I’m definitely not expecting it to hit those same heights again, but hey, it could still be a pretty hilarious ride if they play it right.

I’d really appreciate it if the mods could take another look at this whole situation, especially since it’s starting to blow up in the news lately.
Check out this piece on all the messiness surrounding child custody battles and the rumors about potential protests heading our way.

Look, if that's how it is, fine, but honestly? It feels pretty shady that we can't even have an open discussion about these kinds of issues. The thread was staying perfectly civil right up until they pulled the plug. There wasn't even a single fight breaking out.

I'll give you that—the headline is a bit much, maybe leaning into the clickbait side of things, so if that's what's bugging people, the mods should just swap it out.
I actually went out of my way to make sure the opening post was as neutral as possible, specifically to avoid the kind of drama you were calling me out on in your message.

Looks like the floor is officially open here

So, I’m thinking maybe the mods could just move my old posts over to that thread linked above if having duplicate topics is what's causing the headache

Honestly, I can't even wrap my head around why they decided to pull her from the lineup in the first place.
We were just having a perfectly normal conversation, you know?

It’s kind of funny, but since this morning, basically every single one of the mods over in the politics section has been hovering around being active, yet somehow nobody’s even touched a single thing in the food sub 🤷

Hey, political mods
Can someone please give me the lowdown on where the "Do men have fewer rights than women?" thread went? I was looking for it over in the close to politics subforum, but it seems to have vanished into thin air and I can't find it anywhere

Thanks in advance
