Mad Max: Fury Road (2014) in Movies ·
Look, I’ve never been much of a fan of that whole zombie subgenre, but honestly? This flick caught me way off guard in the best way possible. I actually had a blast watching it. It’s hands down better than half those big-budget blockbusters out there right now.
fuel 🤣
Sci-Fi or Fantasy: The ultimate debate in Movies ·
Honestly, trying to pin down a specific genre for certain stories is a total headache. Sometimes the line between Fantasy and Sci-Fi just gets incredibly blurry, and there isn't much of a distinction at all. I mean, look at Star Wars—it’s the ultimate example of that; it’s got plenty of elements from both worlds even though, at its core, it’s basically just fantasy.
Then you’ve got Abercrombie's new trilogy, Smrskano more, which feels like a classic low fantasy setup on the surface, but there’s a pretty good chance it’s actually taking place on a post-apocalyptic Earth (though we won't know for sure until it all unfolds)

Most American geeks seem to think Star Wars belongs more in the Fantasy camp than in actual Sci-Fi
Maybe on a forum that actually knows what it’s doing 🤷

I honestly thought the movie was fantastic. It had that classic James Gandolfini quality where you just know it’s going to be good, and honestly, Tom Hardy just keeps getting better and better with every single role he takes on. Since I hadn't really looked into anything about the film beforehand, I just went in totally blind, leaned back, and ended up really vibing with the slow-burn pacing—it wasn't boring at all, just steady.
Walk Among The Tombstones (2014) in Movies ·
Honestly, this was a fantastic watch. When you’re used to seeing all those mediocre spring releases that try way too hard to pass off as gritty thrillers or action flicks, this felt like actual eye candy. Liam is at the top of his game here; in my opinion, he actually outdid himself compared to what he did in
Taken.
It's nothing groundbreaking, sure, but it's definitely worth your time—especially when you compare it to something like 🤮The Equalizer

Look, I'm basically acting as an informant for the cops and some big-shot CEO, so I really need to dig up as much intel as possible😬

I was just curious because I’m pretty sure I recognize the guy they picked up, but he definitely isn't from Los Angeles

Major props to everyone showing that "all for one" solidarity, but you’ve gotta be ready to deal with the fallout if you play it that way. Especially if the cops actually recognize your face.
I don't know anything about that guy from the hills. And honestly, why was he even arrested in the first place if they were just going to let him go?

Those idiots were throwing rocks at the convoy while they were heading through some small town toward San Diego or on their way back.

I’m being dead serious here. I’m not trying to troll anyone, I genuinely want to know, so if you have the patience to give me an actual answer, go for it—but please, just skip the threats and the insults if you aren't interested

Is there any truth to the rumors that some members of the Black Knights in a city like San Diego actually tried to break one of their own out after a police arrest? And does that have anything to do with those eleven people currently facing criminal charges mentioned above?
If this is actually happening, what on earth would even motivate an attempt like that?

Anyway, that's all I wanted to ask

Just like I called it, not a single one of my questions actually got an answer.
And while we’re on the subject of those little report buttons, maybe instead of obsessing over me and nitpicking every time I post something you don't like, you guys could actually start doing your jobs as forum mods. It’s pretty wild how you don't even wait for someone to hit the report button before slapping me with a penalty without a shred of explanation—even when I've asked five different times in three different places, and none of you three mods will give me a straight answer.

Go ahead, lock the thread or delete it if you want, because I already know I'm not getting a real response from guys like you, and honestly, I won't even bother looking for one anyway.☕

I mean, just look at all the absolute nonsense people post there without getting banned
but hey, let’s get this straight: I’m just some massive, evil troll who exists solely to bait others into insulting me or threatening me with physical violence, while everyone else in the off-topic section is apparently a saint who has no clue who's actually pulling the strings, so please, feel free to charge in like a bunch of white knights on horseback to save them
and by the way, I was hanging out in the white corner because the yellow ant moderator told me to, only to be greeted with nothing but bans. now you’re the third person here refusing to answer one incredibly simple question and instead trying to steer the whole conversation in some random direction
you guys are clearly handing out bans selectively, and if someone doesn't fall for your little demagogic games, you just slap them with a penalty and scream "troll, troll"

do you honestly think I'm playing the part of the designated idiot just so you guys can laugh at me and ban me?
you probably do, but at least you won't get flagged for having an opinion, right?
and I bet the grass grew itself and paid off its own loans too

Michelle Palmer6 said:You didn't get slapped with a single penalty for insults over on Football, so I have no idea how that's even remotely relevant to us.
In my opinion, this is just a textbook example of someone being a total troll.

And personally, I feel like you haven't actually read the whole thing again.
I got flagged for being insulting while I was just complaining about the moderation rules on the football board during my chat with that yellow ant guy—and I wasn't even insulting him. So who exactly was I supposed to be insulting?
It’s a pretty straightforward question, one that I haven't been able to get a straight answer to for a month now.
That penalty ended up leading me straight into another ban over on the football section.

And why is every single one of my questions constantly labeled as trolling? Am I not allowed to know why I got penalized?
I even caught another one for "shouting," even though I wasn't even using caps lock. How does that even work?
If it's because of using emojis, then why on earth do you even offer them if we aren't supposed to use them?
Not to mention getting hit with 30 points for being off-topic in a thread where there are three whole pages of off-topic chatter, yet I'm the only one who gets flagged—and I got slapped with three warnings at once.

If anyone here is actually trolling, it's definitely you, since you're busy responding to stuff I didn't even ask the moderator in the first place, buddy.
Moderation on the Football PDF in Feedback & Suggestions ·
So why on earth did it say 45 points for an insult then?
I'm asking about the penalty on the appeals page.

Look, maybe try actually reading what I’m saying before you jump in with an answer. I honestly think this is a textbook example of how moderators behave over on the Football subreddit.

Anyway, football thanks and goodbye, since it's pretty clear we aren't going to get anywhere if nobody's actually reading the posts.😎 ☕

Don't go breaking your backs trying to get back to me. I really wouldn't want to be the reason you're falling behind on your actual work.
I mean, look, I get it—it’s a total pain in the neck trying to sit down and write out a whole explanation about why someone got tossed from the game for insulting this guy or that guy. And honestly, let's not even get started on the rest of it. 🥱

mistyranger21 said:anyone got a photo of that restaurant chaos from last night?

So I heard they stormed into the place planning to cause absolute mayhem, but once they realized there were actually two servers working instead of just one lonely guy, they basically just gave a polite little bow and offered their sincerest apologies before heading out. 🥱
All jokes aside, honestly, I’m just glad I got to witness an Ultras protest without things turning violent for once. I definitely misread the room a few times myself back in the day.
I just don't get what the Ultras have to do with indoor soccer refs, though. 🤷

It was more of a rhetorical question, really
And thanks for the insult. It’s always easy to tell when someone lacks basic manners right off the bat👍

I guess the Code doesn't apply to everyone equally. Some people just get a free pass whenever they feel like it😉

So, today we finally found out what the NFL Ultras were actually trying to pull down in Savannah
They were attempting to bust some detainees out of the police's clutches 🙏
Honestly, mad respect to them. I wonder what the Code has to say about that 🤷
