Got my blood work back yesterday and saw a few red flags next to some elevated numbers. If anyone can make sense of this, I'd appreciate it: S-GGT RESULT 39 REFERENCE VALUES(9-35) PROTEIN S-CRP 11.6rEFERENTNE VRIJEDNOSTI (5.0)
The doctor asked if I was on any meds, and I told her yeah, just some stuff for pain and anxiety. Everything else looks fine, I guess.
Chloe Jackson95 said:The movie really should have wrapped up about 10 minutes earlier, right when things go south in the subway because someone jumps under a train. Basically, his sister should've been the one meeting her end under those tracks. Everything that follows that moment doesn't actually add anything meaningful to the story, especially the way it all winds down. 🤷
Those "long distance wide shots" are fine enough when they're talking in a restaurant—you know, having to sit there and take the bosses being total creeps to his sister, or while he’s sprinting through the city while she's busy in bed with that guy. But that marathon close-up sex scene? Seriously, why on earth did we need such extreme, "politically correct" angles? 🙄 🙄 It was just nonsense. Honestly, it felt more like a bathroom break for the audience than actual cinema.
The kissing scene with the guy isn't even that impactful, though maybe that's just because I hadn't fully bought into him as the embodiment of heterosexuality by that point.
I mean, look, it's a decent film, but the director went a bit too "daredevil" with the camerawork, I think.
The kissing scene with a man isn't particularly impactful either, though maybe I just failed to see him as the embodiment of heterosexuality until then. Clearly, I missed it! Michael Fassbender kissing a guy.🤣🤣
Same here. Ever since I started eating cleaner, walking more, and cutting out sugar entirely, things have been different. The first one was painful, but manageable. The second one? Barely felt it, just some soreness at the opening and some pressure in my ovaries. Usually, the pain hits hard for a few hours until the bleeding starts—nothing crazy—but these last two were absolute hell. Honestly, I got a little scared because normally I’m stuck in bed all morning. Just a little Advil, some suppositories, and chamomile tea to get through it.

It doesn't hurt, itch, or burn, but I just want them gone 😢 and I tried using hemorrhoid cream, nothing. Olive oil? Barely helped. Now I've switched to Faktu ointment, but who knows if it'll work. Can I still have sex (not anal, just vaginal) while dealing with this? And is there any chance they'll just vanish on their own? I'm terrified they'll get worse, but honestly, I'm too scared to go see a doctor. If anyone knows anything, I'd really appreciate the help. This is stressing me out. 😢
I had massive hemorrhoids once, all because of those constipation pills. I tried everything; sitting or walking was pure torture. Eventually, I used some Nivea cream, washed the area with distilled water a few times, and kept applying the Nivea. Then, I basically shoved the hemorrhoid back inside where it belonged. 🙂 It hurt like hell, but it worked. 🤣 Now, I get them occasionally, but never as bad as before. Just keep the area clean, use ointment, and make sure to wash up after using the bathroom. Also, try putting ice on the painful spot—it helps a lot. And yeah, you can still have sex.

It usually lasts about 5 or 6 days, but I’m wondering if there’s any way to speed it up or just stop it so my weekend isn't ruined. I read something about delaying it once and saw a post saying you can take Duphaston a few days before it starts to push it back. Just so you know, that didn't work for me 🙂 Any advice would be appreciated.
Every time I hop in the shower, my period either stops or gets way lighter. Basically, I have to wear a tampon just to shower.🙂
Jason Martinez7 said:I’m 28 years old, and from the moment I had my first period until this very second waiting for this one, it has been an absolute nightmare. Honestly, I wouldn't wish this kind of experience on my worst enemy. We’re talking fainting spells, vomiting, and pain so intense it feels unbearable. I have tried everything under the sun—every pill, every herbal tea, every homeopathic drop you can think of—but nothing touches it. The only thing that provides even a modicum of relief is using those hormonal suppositories; I’ve been relying on them for a few years now. They kick in about 20 minutes after application and hold steady for maybe six or seven hours, then I have to do it all over again. It’s an endless cycle. I don't think I'll ever truly get over the trauma of this. People always say that once you have children, the pains subside, but I find it hard to be optimistic about that. It’s mentally draining. The week leading up to it is just as bad because the PMS kicks in, and then the actual arrival happens, it passes, I recover just enough to breathe, and then the whole ordeal starts all over again. On top of that, I have a really fast metabolism; I’m quite thin, and even if I try to gain weight, I lose it all the moment my period arrives. If I’m being honest, I feel a deep sense of envy toward women who don't feel anything at all—women who just function normally, go about their business, and actually stick to their plans. For me, I have to check my calendar before I dare to schedule anything. So many plans have fallen through because of this... including a trip to New York City I was supposed to take this very weekend!🙂
I used to be the exact same way. I never knew if I was going to throw up, get the runs, or just choke down a painkiller. I was bleeding so heavily I lost too much iron, so my doctor put me on hormone therapy and everything has been fine since.😍Now the pain is minimal, maybe four hours on the worst day, and that's it.
Total garbage.👎Haven't even made it to the part where Michael Fassbender shows up yet.☕The lead actress? Man, who even put her there. Seriously, how many guys did she have to sleep with just to land this gig? She’s like a female Steven Seagal, except at least Seagal can actually act a little.
Patrick Ramos82 said:That's exactly what I tell her. (I actually know both the author of this post and the person being discussed).
Look, kid.🤣I get it. But she’s lost her mind and you can just...🙂She claims her chest hurts, like she hasn't mentioned it a thousand times already. I just told her straight—of course they hurt when you're wearing tiny bras and constantly messing with them.🙄
Writing this for a friend. She had unprotected sex back on March 21st, then got her period on April 12th. It wasn't her usual flow—lighter than normal, lasted three days, just... different. She’s convinced it was a false period. She’s already run four tests, all negative. Even went to the OBGYN; pelvic exam and ultrasound both came up clear. But the doctor made a total rookie mistake by telling her she should probably get a blood test anyway, even though he claimed it wasn't necessary. Honestly, I don't know how to calm her down when those four high-end tests were all negative. She’s been dealing with massive stress lately, plus she's been dieting and on antibiotics. After the exam, she had some brown spotting.
Help me fix this issue. I went to my gynecologist for an exam yesterday, and since then—both yesterday after the appointment and today—I've had this brown discharge. It’s sticky. Any idea what could be happening??
Chloe Mitchell4 said:This is the second month in a row I've had light spotting. It follows my usual cycle length, just much lighter. My PMS symptoms are totally normal, and now my cramps feel the same as always. Anyone else dealt with this? I AM NOT PREGNANT!!!
If you aren't pregnant, why even worry? Personally, whenever I'm stressed or on a diet, my flow gets light. There are endless things that can cause this. Plus, if you're on birth control, spotting happens all the time.😉
Robin Hernandez8 said:I don't really know if this is actually my period right now. It’s been going on for three days already. I mean, it feels like my period, but everything just feels... I don't know, totally weird about it? Because I had it just eleven days ago. Maybe it's something else, I guess. It's just super strange. So, let me see if I’ve got this straight... I’ve been on my period for three days now, right? And if my cycle is being somewhat predictable—which, honestly, who knows these days—then I should be looking at another one in about fifteen days? And then, regarding the timing for starting the pills... I guess I should start right when the bleeding begins, or is it more like once everything has cleared up? I'm a little fuzzy on that part, to be honest. Maybe I should double-check with my doctor just to be absolutely certain.
What do you mean 15 days? It’s 28. Count from the day it started, and the 28th day is when you should expect it again. Start the new pack on the first day of your period. What you're dealing with is withdrawal bleeding, since you missed three days. Usually, if you miss one pill, you might bleed, but it stops once you get back on track. You didn't stay on them, so the bleeding just kept going.
Paul Rivera said:Maybe I'm responding too late, but if it were me, I'd probably just take it right after my period started—say, around 11 PM—and then stick to that same time every night. If not, I guess you could just start tomorrow morning and keep taking them at the same time every morning (like 8 or 9 AM). 🙂
I didn't take anything because I was clueless. The cramps started at 10, but my period didn't actually show up until noon. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I should even bother taking them?🤷
Robin Hernandez8 said:Please, someone tell me... should I just keep going anyway??
I went through that with Celestol. Don't even bother asking if you should keep going—within three days, those damn pills basically take over your whole system. It’s pointless. An old doctor once told me if I missed a dose, just double up the next day, or if I had breakthrough bleeding, take a double dose. I didn't listen. As for that bleeding, is it just your period? Just look at what day it is, count 28 days, and that's usually when it hits.😉For me, my breasts get incredibly sore two weeks before my period starts. Honestly, just toss them. Wait for your next cycle. Your protection isn't even reliable anymore. And if you're only taking them to deal with painful periods, just suck it up, take an Advil, and call it a day.😉
Got my period today, so I need to start on the pill. Should I just take the first one now since it's day one, or does the fact that it's almost midnight mean I should wait until tomorrow? I'm only taking them to fix my cycle and stop these sore breasts.
Nicole Foster71 said:I couldn't agree more. That’s exactly why I find 28 Days Later to be the superior film—it offers a much deeper dive into the human psyche. The sequel is decent enough, but it leans heavily into action, whereas the original really forces you to sit there and actually think about it.
The first movie is great. Especially that part where they hit the pharmacy to grab a ton of sleeping pills... because honestly, who's getting any sleep when there are zombies running around? I can't even remember the second one, even with my best efforts. Just watched some clips to jog my memory, but still nothing.🤷To me, it’s not even about the zombies if they're sprinting around like Bruce Jenner!☕In my opinion, George Romero makes the best zombie movies. He actually knows how to handle them; these other ones feel like everyone is just on speed.😂What chance does a regular person have when some hyperactive corpse is chasing you down just to eat you? You don't stand a chance.☕
I'm on birth control pills and my period is usually clockwork.. Yesterday was supposed to be the day, but nothing. Last night I started getting these sharp pains in my ovaries and thought it was finally happening, but when I checked this morning, still nothing. The pain is pretty intense too, until I take some Advil. We only had sex twice this month and he didn't even finish inside, so I really don't think it's pregnancy. I've been stressed lately, but I'm mostly just worrying about the wrong things😁
Does anyone know what could be causing this or have dealt with it? It’s creeping me out because my cycle is never late like this🤷 ????
That happened to me a few times while I was on the pill—cramps and everything, but no period.🤷I'd just go to my doctor and they'd give me something to get things moving.☕
I only tuned in because of Gerard Butler, but I wasn't ready for the non-stop singing. I mean, even High School Musical is a musical, but they don't just sing every single second. Honestly though, Butler’s got a great voice. He actually blew me away as a singer.
