Lethal Weapon 1-4 in Movies ·
Watched the beginning yesterday. Script was pretty mindless, almost like I wrote it myself.☕And I’m definitely not much of a writer.☕Mel was good, though. I don't get how someone who started filming looking one way turned into what he is now.🤷Big disappointment from the studio heads?🤷The producers? Maybe. But the chemistry between him and Danya Glover was unreal, so I’m not buying the whole "Mel is a racist" angle they've been pushing lately.

Can I change my username to Justin Rogers5?

No. We don't do screaming matches on Reddit, and honestly, that handle is just gross.

I tried watching this, but honestly, I can't even remember what it was about if I try hard enough.🙂Stevenson is actually a solid actor🤷, definitely felt like a breath of fresh air in Musketeers!

Guess I just totally misread the situation.

Not sure what the problem is with Eric Bana not being the lead. I liked the trailer. Big fan of Burton movies. It’ll be pretty satisfying when he finally smashes that tree with the axe at the end.😂

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if Michael Fassbender just beat me with that stick.🤣😍

Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
Sean Doyle said:I used to take Advil—which helped manage my cramps back in the day—but honestly, those damn pills just make me feel absolutely nauseous. 🤮

I’ve found Balargin works much better for me lately, though I did try Efferalgan—the effervescent kind—recently, and I suppose that seems to be pretty effective too, if I'm being honest. 👍

On another note, since I started taking birth control, things have actually been quite a bit easier. I mean, there's still pain, obviously, but it's... manageable, I guess. 🙂

I dealt with brutal cramps too, but once I switched to birth control, they went from bad to basically nonexistent.🤷It's pretty common knowledge that BC helps dial down both the pain and the heavy bleeding.

Great flick!😍😍I’m a sucker for those drug cartel movies, especially when they feature actors you usually only see stuck in those cheesy American soap operas.

🤣Pretty good movie. First 15 minutes were great, then it kind of drags. Still one of the better comedies this year though.🤣
It happened right after I stopped my pills. Just seven days in, this brown spotting showed up. I figured it was just my period, so I quit the meds.
It lasted a couple of days and then cleared right up.
Justin Rogers5 said:Quick question. I’ve been on birth control since I was 19, and now I’m 33. For the last few months, my period has been starting before I even finish the pack. I went to see my OB-GYN, but he didn't really give me a straight answer. Are these pills just losing their edge because I’ve been taking them for so long? I'm on Celest, by the way.

Anyone know anything about this? I have an appointment with a specialist in Seattle soon, but I'm wondering if switching brands actually makes sense. Also, I noticed something else—I gained a lot of weight because I stopped exercising and ate too much. When I tried to lose weight without the pill, the pounds were finally dropping off. But once I started back on Cilest, the weight loss just hit a wall, even though I'm barely eating anything besides soup and veggies.

Robert Collins2 said:Nah, what you're talking about is just the half-life—basically the window where the amount of the drug in your blood plasma drops by half. With psych meds, that window is way shorter than something like an anticoagulant, which stays in you forever. Like, every 48 hours or so, the concentration in your plasma cuts in half. So if you’re on 5 mg, in 48 hours you’ve got 2.5 mg left, then in another 48 hours it's down to 1.25 mg, then 0.625, and so on until it finally dissolves completely.

It can show up in a urine test for about a month after you stop, though, because tiny traces linger even after it's gone from your plasma.

Sorry, I totally overcomplicated that, but why are you even getting tests done? You worried they're gonna find psych meds in there or something?

Something like that.

I'm heading to New York City for New Year's Day, so I want to drink a bit. I don't get to go to NYC every day. To avoid any bad reactions between booze and my meds, I was thinking about quitting for a month and then starting again. I know, sounds stupid.

Robert Collins2 said:So, the half-life for escitalopram usually sits somewhere between 27 and 32 hours, though it really depends on what dose you were taking. 😉

It gets processed by your liver, which means it can sometimes cause a slight bump in your liver enzyme levels.

So if I stop taking it, it just takes two days to clear my system?? Nothing more? I read somewhere else that it takes like a month.

Does anyone actually know how long it takes for Lexapro to fully clear your system?
Larry Walker24 said:Go see an ENT specialist and lay it all out for them, because this sounds like an inner ear issue.

Yeah, heading to the audiologist on Monday to get things checked out.😉
redeagle96 said:Hey everyone, I could really use some insight here. For a while now, I’ve been feeling like I’m losing my balance whenever I walk, almost like I'm moving through a fog. Sometimes it feels like there's a tiny piece of cotton stuck right in front of my eyes, blurring my vision. About two months ago, I dealt with a nasty middle ear infection and inflammation of the eardrum. Could this be a lingering side effect from that? I tend to worry about everything, so I'm starting to freak out a bit. I saw my doctor today, and they mentioned it might be related to my ears and suggested waiting a little longer to see if things settle down. Also, even when I'm just sitting still, I get this sensation like the room is swaying. On top of that, my neck is killing me—it feels like I'm carrying a massive weight on my shoulders.
Do you think this could be coming from anxiety?
Thanks in advance for any help!! 😉

I'm dealing with the exact same thing, and unfortunately, I deal with anxiety too.
Maybe try spending less time at the computer; I have neck issues myself. My job requires me to stand all day with bad posture, so that could be part of it. Go see a doctor—I'm heading to a private clinic this Monday for some tests. A couple of years back, I had head scans and spinal ultrasounds done. I'd probably look into getting a CT scan just to be sure.😂
God, I honestly thought I was the only one going through this nightmare!!😢Two months ago, the dizziness and that sinking feeling started, and I legit thought I was dying. I struggle with anxiety and depression too, plus I messed up when I was younger and didn't treat a nasty ear infection properly. Now, my ear hurts constantly. My doctor says everything looks fine on the outside, but thinks it might be an issue with my inner ear balance. A few days ago at work, I felt so faint I ended up in the ER, where they gave me some medication—maybe Trinasec or something similar—and that finally stopped the spinning. But the worst part is the fear of leaving the house; I'm terrified of passing out again. I feel better lying down, and sometimes the vertigo vanishes for a day, but other times it's constant, and I'm popping my anxiety meds like Tic Tacs.😂I have a friend dealing with the exact same thing, and he’s basically let it hijack his entire life (no beach trips, no sun, no clubs, nothing). I refuse to live like that because, honestly, that isn't living.🤷

crimsonhound80 said:Well, look, people use it all the time because it spikes your dopamine and norepinephrine—kind of similar to how marijuana hits you—so, yeah, that explains why the libido goes through the roof.
I'd bet anything your psychiatrist already has you bumped up to 500 mg. 😁

Honestly, what is there to be afraid of? It isn't like it's going to kill you. Just give it a shot, and if it makes you feel like garbage, you can always go back to your old stuff or try something else entirely.

I tried some new med once—ended up puking my guts out and hallucinating that dead firefighters were standing in the room with me.👎I was stuck there on an IV, mid-treatment, having a full-blown panic attack. I tried to bolt from the clinic, but this clueless nurse just stares at me, acting all polite while I'm dying inside.😠It was awful. How much are they paying these people, $5,000? Try being a little kinder. I get that you're stressed, but I haven't seen a single decent mood from any of the staff here. You can't even find a bathroom to throw up in without hunting for a key. It's insane. All these doctors and nurses seriously need a basic empathy seminar. Instead of the nurse helping, I ended up being the one comforting some poor girl who looked like hell.😠
Anyway, this Wellbutrin has terrifying side effects. The ones that actually scare me are seizures, nausea, and vomiting. Guess I'll have to start hanging signs around town saying "I'm not having a seizure, I'm not drunk, and I'm not pregnant, you idiots!!"
