Keith Miller30 said:To be honest, I haven't even gotten around to watching the older Max movies yet. I’m planning to sit down this Saturday and power through all three sequels, though I had originally intended to dive into The Hobbit instead 🤦 .

Keith Miller30 said:It isn’t really about any specific critique; I simply missed out on that particular series altogether. There are several other "cult classics" that have slipped through the cracks for me—titles like Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, or Memento, for instance. Is it just me, or is it difficult to force yourself to sit through a movie when the premise doesn't immediately grab your interest?

🤦

Man, you sure talk a lot about movies. 🤣 🤦

Peter Thompson4 said:Mozilla is working fine for me, but Chrome is basically a total zero right now. Does this mean I actually have to reinstall Chrome? And more importantly, am I gonna lose all my bookmarks if I do that? (Also, wait, do I need to wipe Chrome completely before I try installing it again, or is there some other way to handle this?)

Just uninstall it and start over—as for the bookmarks, I have no clue since I don't even use them. 😁

Peter Thompson4 said:Is anyone else having a complete meltdown with YouTube right now? Like, seriously, is it just me or is the text actually disappearing? I'll try typing something into the search bar, and while the dropdown list of suggestions pops up, there isn't a single damn letter visible to me—it's like I'm searching in invisible ink or something. I don't even know how to describe this glitch because the suggestions are technically there, but since I can't see any actual letters, the whole thing is basically useless.

If it works fine in a different browser, then just reinstall the one that's acting up.

"National team players think they’ve actually achieved something just because they managed to score. They celebrate hitting three different targets—as if that's some huge feat—totally oblivious to the fact that at least three of their teammates were already occupying that same space earlier.". 🤣

They gave up on the new registrations—so now we’re just stuck with the old logo. 🤦 🤣

Peter Thompson4 said:"Instead of just 34 cities, starting July 1st, all 128 cities are getting their own license plates. Naturally, this means we’re going to see some absolutely ridiculous identifiers popping up on the road. Apparently, every mayor has until April 7th to file a formal complaint if they hate the tag they were handed."
Wait, is this actually happening? They want unique plates for 130 different cities? Hahahahahahaha, man, good luck to them if they think they have even a single brain cell shared between them collectively.

Fine, whatever—I'm more curious about how 130 tiny spots in this country somehow qualify as "cities." 🤦

Joshua Gomez54 said:The sheikhs from Qatar are just waiting on the FIFA elections to pull a stunt similar to what they did with the soccer national team. If Sepp manages to snatch the 2022 championship back, things are going to get messy—because you can bet those sheikhs will fly in an entire army of experts. We’re talking coaches, doctors, physical trainers, mental health specialists... basically anyone to prep their young prospects and even the veterans. People are wrong when they claim Qatar can't just buy a national team🤣—just look at how many talented South Americans don't have official caps yet. They'll start recruiting them around 2016-2017 to naturalize them and get them ready by 2022. And let's not forget the guys from big European countries who have zero chance of making their own squads; they're targets too, just like the young kids from Africa being lured in with cash. I’m willing to bet at least half of the 23 players officially registered for the SP will be foreigners.

Recruiting started ages ago—they've been bringing in players from Africa and Central and South America through the Aspire Academy under the guise of some humanitarian project. By 2022, the roster will be a complete melting pot. But honestly, that's beside the point—this is about FIFA and global sports, not this absolute circus that's destroying the beautiful game—the IHF.

Honestly, this whole obsession with forcing the President's Cup—you know, those play-in games—is a bigger joke than our actual draft. I mean, may God help you people, seriously, what are you even doing? 🙏 🙏

It’s physically painful to read this.

P.S. That's a question mark at the end of your first sentence—not a period. ☕

"Is this just people acting out, or is there an actual rule against it?"

I’m not even going to bother replying to someone who’s already been banned from the site.

But since you’re asking so nicely, I’ll give you an answer. 🙂

Honestly, I don't see what's so terrible about talking trash about the absolute bottom-feeders running the US Soccer Federation. It's pretty pathetic that you can only say what you really think on forums—if you go public with it, get ready for a total media circus.

If some guy like Raymond Brooks81—who only seems to show up in the sports section when he wants to talk trash about Mexicans—feels offended because he took aim at a kleptomaniac who can barely string a coherent thought together (or, in this case, uses pure Australian slang), then that's his problem.

All the fighting between users has been scrubbed, and anyone who went too far got hit with a penalty—it feels like a few of the regulars are always on a timeout.

So, yeah. That's the deal.

Look, if you take Alumnus—who were the American champions—they had to start way back in the preliminary round held right here in Washington, D.C. They won their group and then headed over to Moscow for the Main Round. It’s not like big-time soccer where you actually travel for away games; they just pre-assign cities and host clubs ahead of time.

I've been following this nonsense for ages, and I honestly don't get why the cheapskates at FIFA haven't launched something resembling an actual Champions League yet. With the amount of cash flowing through that organization, setting up 16 teams in four groups of four would be a piece of cake—but nope, nothing changes. Just the same old grind.

Hardly anyone cares about this stuff—it lasts maybe eleven days out of the year, there's zero marketing, and the hosts for the main stages are almost always the massive clubs. Meanwhile, the little guys get stuck in those preliminary rounds against random futsal squads from Sweden, Estonia, and Albania🙄... honestly, it's pathetic.

Our club is going to have to spearhead some real movement once we actually get a shot at playing in this tournament. 🍿
