I know that vibe all too well. I had this one cousin who was constantly "on her hormones"—basically acting like an old lady—and now that she finally has grandkids, she thinks everyone needs to rush out and start a family ASAP.🙄🙂
I won't even get into how much blood she sucked from me with her constant harassment. Honestly, I felt reborn once I cut her out of my life. Pure bliss. Total peace.
Ladies, just live your lives. Don't break your heads over whether you want kids or not—you already know what you want, so stop overthinking it. And if someone starts attacking you like this old lady, just hop in a rocket and blast off to Mars. 🙂

I tend to prune people like that pretty quickly—I honestly don't have the bandwidth to waste my energy on pointless arguments about my own priorities or trying to justify my choices to people who just don't get it. I need all my energy for my health, which isn't exactly perfect as it is, so I'm not about to burn it on empty bickering. It reminds me of when my neighbors used to nag me about why I'd rather hang out online than socialize with them... I basically told them my computer isn't going to bite me.🤣 Anyway, now they think I'm being rude and foul-mouthed (which, okay, fair point), while they act like absolute saints—as if they’d suddenly forgive my "attitude" if I just converted to their way of thinking and started acting "normal" by their standards.😁 If someone can't respect your personal choices, there's really no point in trying to be friends with them anyway. They should just go find people who think exactly like they do and call it a day.🤷

Unfortunately, it seems like that mindset is still deeply rooted here in America—if you aren't married by, I don't know, 30 or 35, and haven't had kids (ideally two, a boy and a girl, right?), then you've achieved nothing and you're just a selfish careerist. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit, but I don't doubt there are people who would agree with that thesis...
Personally, I'm in the same boat as you. One day, if everything falls into place, it would be nice.. But just a few years ago, I categorically refused the idea of kids because I simply didn't think I was that type and couldn't see myself as anyone's parent 🙂 As it happens, as I get older, my opinion is shifting, but regarding people who don't want kids—I have nothing negative to say about them. I don't think they are bad or selfish. In fact, I think if someone doesn't want children, it's better that they don't have them, right? If someone doesn't feel that urge, doesn't think it will fulfill them, and doesn't see themselves in that role—why go through with it? You can't just say, "Fine, I'll try it and see what happens" 🤣

Haha, nobody is nagging me to marry yet, but for a while, everyone was really pushing me to find a boyfriend 🙄I’m honestly just enjoying being single right now, and the idea of jumping back into anything isn't even on my radar... I don't feel ready for that kind of thing. And look, I get that most of them didn't mean any harm, but I don't know... this constant pressure feels stupid. I'm not going to force myself to change how I feel just to fit someone else's version of what's "smart" or "best"...

Well, I guess everyone else just knows what's best for you better than you do, right? Like, how are you supposed to figure out your own life if you're too busy listening to the herd? It’s like they think they’re doing your thinking for you. 😉 🤣
There's really no point in wasting your breath explaining yourself to people who have already made up their minds—even if they mean well. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and man, they aren't kidding. Just do you. 😁

redscout46 said:"Bitterness"... isn't that just the convenient label used around here whenever someone happens to hold a perspective that doesn't align with yours? 🤦
Neither brightviper22, nor I, nor anyone else in this group actually has anything or anyone to be bitter about... unlike you two lost souls.

I actually had to start avoiding certain women altogether because they wouldn't stop nagging me about getting married and having kids—it was driving me crazy! So, I just stepped back from those circles and solved the problem myself 😁 ...though, granted, there are plenty of brilliant women out there who happen to be moms, but they aren't busy lecturing other women on how they "must" have children. They're... well, they're intelligent enough to respect everyone else's life choices, you know?

It’s actually pretty smart how they warned the skeptics not to go reading 🙄 😁

To the author—I mean, being completely free of all biases can actually be a bad thing. Like, if you have a healthy bias against snakes, that’s exactly what’s going to save your life when you stumble upon one in the woods and decide to give it a wide berth 😉
And as for this whole idea that people are rational beings and there's always a logical explanation for why we act the way we do? Honestly, that's just another bias. People are wildly unpredictable, kind of goofy, and frankly, a little crazy sometimes—usually just driven by whatever their ego is craving at the moment. There isn't always some neat, logical reason for it

We're all a little wild regardless of the lunar cycle! Honestly, I think it's better this way—we can just channel all that extra energy into something more productive, like physical intimacy, instead of just being constantly on edge.

Maybe try using a few more descriptive words there, huh?😁

They really hit the nail on the head, especially Rosenkreuz.
Man, you’re the hero here, not some loser—you’ve gotta pull yourself together.
The truth is, our society has its values totally upside down; people only seem to care about selfish, greedy moves. That’s probably why you’re looking back at an ex who was just a materialistic person with questionable morals instead of valuing women who would actually see your actions as heroic. But look, the issue starts with you—you're projecting your own self-doubt onto everyone else, rather than realizing you're the one being too hard on yourself.
Now, when it comes to cheating, both sides usually share the blame—either the spark is gone or problems were swept under the rug until someone with weaker principles finally gave in. You just have to take it as a tough life lesson. She’s clearly the kind of person you wouldn't want in your life long-term, because you already know she’d only ever value your status or your bank account, not who you are as a human being. The first step is accepting who you are, stop measuring yourself against the broken standards of this messed-up world, and quit casting pearls before swine. Just learn how much to give to people, and seriously, in the future, don't risk your career trying to fix things that are fundamentally broken—nobody is going to thank you for it.

I truly believe if you stay persistent, you can land a great job out there. I know you can be successful and absolutely crush it in your career, and once you find that footing, your health will likely follow suit—as long as you stick to a decent diet and get some exercise in. You just need to get moving instead of mourning people who aren't even on your level or complaining about a social system that's rotten to the core. Good luck.

jadetiger37 said:Well, look at that—the guys finally get their turn... and not even in a sneaky way either. 😁

And it's not like we don't have to do anything at all... just standing still without nurturing your potential actually destroys the spirit or traps it, putting limits on how much it can grow.
As for that whole "wasting energy" thing—I don't see it as being that negative. Everything you listed there is just part of being human, and denying those things would be like denying humanity itself. The problem only starts when a person can't step away from those traits, or worse, when those traits become the peak of their development.
Real wisdom comes from learning from your mistakes—especially the ones you make when you're young. That’s probably why the image of God is always interpreted as some old guy with a beard. 🙂

Regarding us men being spiritually "damaged goods"—look, my fellow forum friend, we aren't actually *that* far behind... especially when it comes to those "factory settings." 😉

Every woman has a bit of a devious side in her, so don't go underselling me there, buddy—I am a woman, after all, and my ego can definitely handle the truth, so don't worry about me. 😁

When a woman neglects herself, it's usually because she's poured everything into serving others or looking after her family. It's different for men—if a man decides to serve, he tends to dive headfirst into spirituality and just tosses everything else aside.
That seems to be another big divide between the genders to me. A woman is capable of learning from her own mistakes through that act of service, growing and gaining wisdom along the way. But I'm not so sure a man can achieve the same thing—actually, I'm pretty convinced he can't, because men just don't have that specific kind of potential women possess. And I'm talking strictly about the potential for practical spirituality here, not just sitting around theorizing about it.

jadetiger37 said:Ugh, I had to reread my own post just to figure out where I even said that... 🤷
You completely misread me. It’s actually quite the opposite—my first premise is that the ego acts as a potential controlling factor. My second point is about the quality of that control; women are more capable at it, which leads me to conclude they’re more spiritual...

Man, you are brutal toward your own gender... 😁

- Again, it all depends on the situation and how you see it (and once again, instead of saying underhanded, I’m going with devious 🙂)...
If we're saying men can't be as devious or malicious as you claim, then they're basically limited in one area of operation; so, they struggle to see the full picture since they aren't using every tool in the kit. They’ll miss some crucial detail in the process, right? Whether that's a curse or a blessing is really up to the individual... 🙂

- And as for the whole claws thing (🤣), I'll give you that. Men are more inclined to just back off quickly to restore peace and quiet, so they can focus their energy on "smarter" things that women don't value nearly as much; so we end up right back at that male-female dynamic coalition...
But if the female brain is too complex even for women themselves to grasp, let alone men—well, maybe that’s just more proof of a higher spirituality...
Or maybe it’s just the beauty and mystery of reaching for something unattainable...

🙂

Look, keeping it short and sweet...

PS. Honestly, I have no clue how this thread turned into such a mess of horniness and chaos, but clearly, you can't escape the madness no matter which corner of the internet you hide in.. 😁

Don't worry, the men will get their turn eventually. 😁
Anyway, that bluntness toward women—as you put it—actually allows for this incredible level of introspection. To me, it feels like a byproduct of that deep intuition women carry; we all know that intuition is basically a direct line to the Source.
Personally, I don't think a woman even needs to "work" on herself to be spiritual. All she really needs is to focus on building things up—focusing on wisdom rather than destruction, or wasting energy on gossip, pettiness, jealousy, and spite.
A woman is pretty much perfect just as she is, provided she chooses wisdom. It’s different for men, though—they usually have to put in a lot more work just to reach what I'd call a woman's "factory settings."

Poor things—I actually feel bad for those "normal" men who spent their whole lives treating their wives like personal assistants, making sure everything was served on a silver platter while they focused entirely on themselves and their own hobbies... and then they act totally shocked when the woman finally snaps. I honestly don't even know what to say, it's almost sad. 🤣
Guys like that would probably be best off just moving back in with their moms and staying there forever.

Men have that in them too, I suppose. It happens on an individual level.

But I can't shake the feeling that there's this sort of click that happens with some women as they age (not all, obviously...) and then you can actually see the wounds, and being around them feels genuinely empowering. Jin finds the most beautiful refreshment and healing when in the presence of Jin. 🙂

men are such softies, though they try so hard to act like alpha males or gurus when they're around women.🤣

Personally, I don't think there's anything better than a strong, self-assured woman who truly knows her own worth. She doesn't need to resort to those petty little games that insecure people tend to play. A woman like that is a brilliant creator—someone capable of massive achievements, both for herself and for her entire family. Women have this incredible spiritual potential, but man, it's a double-edged sword; it can go to extremes, for better or for worse.

When you look at the male ego, it’s transparent—way too easy to spot, even when they try to hide it behind all sorts of pretenses.
But, if we’re talking about self-awareness and sheer willpower, a high-functioning female ego is going to be way more dominant and powerful than a man's; so yeah, I’d definitely say women have a stronger spirit than us guys do..

And why is it that most spiritual leaders, gurus, and philosophers end up being men?
- Maybe it’s because the male ego is so "cheap"—whereas women don't need external validation to know they are superior—at least in this specific context..

Metaphorically speaking: The ultimate flex of the female ego is that it managed to convince men that it's actually weaker than ours..

🙂

But honestly? Those masks slip pretty fast when you put two women under the same roof. I mean, no man can be quite as sneaky or downright malicious—men might yell at each other's faces, sure, but ten minutes later they're grabbing a beer, watching the game, or just chatting away like nothing ever happened. But women? They'll fight tooth and nail for dominance, using all sorts of subtle, underhanded tactics to get their way. Though, once a man walks back into the room, suddenly she's acting all sweet and innocent, like her nails aren't even dry yet—hardly capable of scratching anyone's eyes out. 😁

The snake in the Garden wasn't even on the tree to begin with; it crawled straight out of the female heart.

Anyway, now that you've officially shared your final verdict on my username and my "work," can we get back to the actual topic, or what?

OT. You know, I’ve always felt like the female ego tends to run a little deeper than the male one—mostly because it feels a bit more cunning, maybe a little more manipulative... actually, I'd go as far as saying it's smarter, though I guess that really just depends on how much self-awareness and focus a woman actually has.
If you want the ultimate proof of that drive for dominance and control, just look at the classic mother-in-law vs. daughter-in-law dynamic.

His first partner was just too overtly "evil," though if you ask me, she was really just brave and wise. So, he swapped her out for someone sweet and manipulative who ended up totally screwing him over in the end. 😁

Sam Robinson said:Dana Davis5, if you actually happen to be a woman, then please, stop talking down to us. It’s a well-known fact that there's a special circle of hell reserved specifically for those who spend their lives tearing other women down—and honestly, they usually get exactly what they put out into the world.

And honestly? The fact that you’re looking at me and seeing some kind of woman who goes out of her way to make life miserable for others is purely your own perception. It’s just how you’ve interpreted two sentences that clearly stung you for some reason—you might want to sit with that and figure out why—but it has absolutely nothing to do with how I actually treat women. You don't even know me, let alone have any idea what my actual actions toward women look like.😉

Kimberly Smith6 said:I’ve been sitting here reflecting on the complexities of human nature, and I can't help but feel that women often lean more toward the material side of life than men do—though, perhaps, that’s just my own limited perception coloring the view. It seems to me there's this deep-seated need for them to find stability through a partner, almost as if an underlying sense of insecurity drives them to seek out a man who can provide that anchor. And then, once that foundation is laid, there is this profound, driving impulse to build up a family and create something lasting together. It’s a complicated dance of needs and motivations, isn't it?
It honestly feels like some people have this almost innate, restless compulsion to conjure up a massive crisis out of thin air when absolutely nothing is wrong! It’s like they possess this peculiar talent for taking a perfectly calm situation and somehow twisting it into a monumental catastrophe, creating drama where none existed just moments before.
And of course, they just have this incredible knack for making everything as unnecessarily complicated as humanly possible, don't they? It’s almost like a talent! They seem to absolutely thrive on conflict—just living for the drama, the arguments, and those endless, heated disputes that never seem to end.

I’m currently typing this up on my mobile device via Tapatalk 2, specifically while wearing my Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670.

I mean, if women are supposedly such a nightmare and men are just pure perfection, then why would any guy even bother looking for a wife in the first place? He could just go hang out with gurus or priests instead—there are plenty of ways to find peace without the headache.😁

Oh well. Honestly, I thought it was super obvious from my handle that I was female, but apparently not—it’s funny how women can take the most straightforward thing imaginable and overcomplicate it until it's totally unrecognizable, all while being incredibly humble about it too. 😁

Ryan Wilson2 said:Look, I am more than willing to defend feminine spirituality, but this? Honestly, I just couldn't let that slide.🤣

It's funny how women will try so hard to hide or mask their ego, but then they just can't help letting it slip out when they start talking too much. 🤣

I mean, look—men tend to have much bigger egos, so it’s just part of our nature to want to step up as the guru or the leader in the room. But if you look at the story, the serpent seduced > first, and then it went through > to get to >... so, honestly? It’s probably more likely that women are more prone to sin and just aren't quite as spiritually grounded as men are. 😁
