That’s perfectly fine by me, really
Are you honestly suggesting you’d haul my backside all the way back to the suburbs for a measly three bucks? 🙂
I’m not even trying to shill here—honestly, there’s absolutely no need for this chaotic little forum wreck to start spreading lies

There are still tickets available, so I have no idea how anyone could claim it's completely sold out, much less explain how you people managed to snag those stadium seats😁. http://www.ticketone.it/bruce-spring...from=erdetaila
It all comes down to how Ticketmaster handles their specific little rules and restrictions... you just don't see that kind of nonsense in Washington, D.C. Honestly, what a headache. I guess we'll just have to catch up at the concession stand...
1) First off, you grab your ticket at a physical box office window—which is exactly what I’ll have to do myself
2) Then you head over to the single, solitary seat marked as CURVO POSTO UNICA 🙂
3) It's general admission, so you just pick wherever you want to land

That’s more or less how I’m reading the situation

The whole thing is just one single, isolated seat, a total lone wolf🙂

gentlegardener47 said:Can anyone recommend an external hard drive? I'm looking at about 30% for backups and 70% for transferring files from my PC to my PlayStation 3 and things like that. I need at least 500GB, ideally high quality but with a low price tag—the usual struggle, really. Basically, I just need a solid middle-of-the-road option.

Well, here is the current gold standard. Western Digital

I am fairly certain I have recommended this exact thing at least ten times already, but honestly, nothing else quite hits the mark for me. If you have the patience, just scroll back through the thread.

Yes, it maintains backward compatibility, which essentially means you can run it on a 2.0 interface while still hitting those advertised speeds.
As for the prices, they’re sitting right where they should be; I highly doubt we’ll see any sudden spikes, so if anything, they might actually dip a bit.

Honestly, there isn’t much of a debate to be had here. Logitech's precision
is pretty much beyond question.

In about three years—actually, probably sooner than 😁—USB 3.0 will be a total relic of the past, completely phased out by Thunderbolt 🙂 honestly, just grab some 2.0 gear while it's still cheap, like a Seagate Expansion

And besides, what on earth is the point of having a 7,200 RPM drive if you're bottlenecking it all through a USB 2.0 connection anyway?

I mean, seriously, why on earth haven't you outfitted the vessel with satellite internet via something like Inmarsat?

Look, you really ought to step away from those washed-out, mainstream brands for a second and give this AOC a look. Jokes aside, it’s actually a fantastic monitor for the price point you're looking at.

logitech Z4 if you're actually dead set on a 2.1 setup
you’re basically paying the same amount for some 2.0 system that is absolute garbage.

Look, I’ve laid out the comparison right here for you. We are talking about essentially the exact same drives, just housed in different shells. Though, looking closer, I see the second one actually comes with a USB 3.0 upgrade. Honestly, for a measly fifty bucks difference, it’s a total no-brainer to go with the upgrade.

It’s backward compatible with USB 2.0, sure, but if your computer doesn't actually have a USB 3.0 port, you’re essentially stuck recording at those ancient, glacial speeds of the older standard. In other words, prepare to sit there and wait.
As far as the SanDisk Extreme Portable goes, you really can't go wrong there. That said, internal SATA communication is obviously going to be faster.

At that price point, this is quite clearly the best buy

I was actually hoping Micronis might have had something a bit more budget-friendly in stock, but naturally, they’re impossible to track down right now. 😁
edit: Actually, turns out Telebit does have it, and it's even cheaper.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything, honestly; you really ought to sit down and actually read the manual regarding how to boot that mouse up properly. I had to physically move mine to another room entirely just to swap out the batteries, because, frankly, the whole process of re-plugging it and waiting for the system to recognize the hardware was such an absolute nightmare.

A one-gigabyte portable drive? I assume you actually meant 1 TB, unless we’re traveling back to the late nineties. You might want to try scrolling through the forum for a second; if you look through the existing threads, you'll find plenty of people have already answered that exact question.

Look, you might be working with some seriously vintage hardware here—I mean, is your computer still running on USB 1.1 or something? 😁
If that isn't the culprit, then we’re likely looking at a corrupted file or perhaps an issue with the drive itself that's causing those sluggish write speeds. Then again, if you aren't rocking a modern machine, heavy multitasking could easily be eating up all your resources and dragging everything down. Give me a bit more detail to work with so I can actually help you out...
