stormyviper11 said:This whole mess with team orders and those idiotic bans is just a direct result of one guy, Rubens Barrichello, acting like a total loose cannon while he was on the ground in Austria. That scandal was so bad he should've been fired on the spot.

Look, if I’m dumping hundreds of millions of dollars into a business every single year, I have every right to decide how my drivers—who are being paid a fortune just for the privilege of driving for me—cross the finish line. In any real American corporation, if an employee acted out like that—publicly undermining management and making it obvious they don't give a damn about following orders right in front of investors and partners—they’d be kicked to the curb immediately.

Because of these stupid rules, we had to sit through that pathetic excuse for a press conference yesterday where the drivers were basically forced to dodge or ignore every question. Honestly, I really hope Ferrari hits Massa where it hurts financially for repeating a slightly toned-down version of Barrichello's nonsense... if they don't just fire him outright.

I'll allow myself the luxury of disagreeing with you. 😁😁

So, here is the breakdown:
1) The world driver championship
2) The world constructors championship

In the first, there are 24 potential champions; in the second, there are 12. Yesterday, that pool of 24 theoretical title contenders was whittled down to 23. As it stood, both Massa and Alonso still had a mathematical shot at the title.

Ultimately, a team's interest boils down to whether one of their drivers secures the world driver championship. Regarding the world constructors championship, yesterday's turn of events changes nothing. Sure, they could have bumped into each other a bit more, but hasn't there been enough of that already this season? 😁

However, by acting this way, Ferrari has directly undermined the integrity of the world driver championship. Had there been no intervention, the title race would still be intense; instead, we're left with a driver in a top-tier team who is effectively irrelevant to the standings.

Of course, my arguments sounded much more convincing while I was driving home... 😁 😁

Dabogda they just stripped him of every single point and kicked both him and the entire team out of the championship permanently.

As of today, I am officially done rooting for Ferrari.

I'm getting zero support here. I can't keep dragging this conversation along by myself.

Honestly, it just hit me how lonely I am in this debate. 🤷 Surely I'm not the only one seeing this!?

Look, I've been a die-hard Red fan for twenty-one years now—but I've finally reached the point where I can't stand how things are being run. This whole thing with Alonso's personality just doesn't mesh with my view of Ferrari as a lifestyle or an ideal.

The guy simply isn't cool. Lauda was cool. Nigel was cool. Prost was cool. Michael Irvin was cool. Even Schumacher was cool—well, except when he was losing his mind at Monza. Felipe took a massive hit to the head at 270km/h. Kimi just eats ice cream and watches the race. And yet, they basically handed the entire team over to a narcissistic, ego-driven individual who, sure, drove well for a little while. 😁

It's tough to admit, but I’d honestly rather see a handful of other drivers—Mark Webber, Robert Kubica, Jenson Button, Kamui Kobayashi, and naturally Felipe Massa—take the title instead of Alonso.

Watching him wave to the crowd while the engine dies—it’s giving me major Nigel Mansell 1991s vibes 😍

I expect the champion wall to finally welcome these two who have been crowned since the last race in Canada 😁😁😁

I don't know how long you've been following this, but from my perspective—having been tuned in since 1989—this is shaping up to be the most intense season yet 😁

I have my doubts that Brawn GP would even be where they are today if they were still running those Honda engines... 🤣🤣
At this point, Mercedes is basically the heart of the car... 😁
All they need to do now is change the team colors... 👍

True—I can see it just by looking at Force India and McLaren.🙄
I'd much rather be sitting in on the next Honda board meeting than watching the race 😁😁😁
Zachary Miller6 said:So, I wanted to check in with some fresh updates on this whole mess: a lawyer friend of mine told me that ownership actually transfers the moment the contract is signed, not when it finally hits the county records. Apparently, it’s not true that my hands are tied here. I’ll still have to sort it out through the courts, though, since nothing can be settled out of court right now.

Honestly, I feel like I can finally sleep a little easier tonight. If there's one lesson here for everyone, it's this: don't put too much faith in real estate agencies, government offices, or frankly, anyone else!

Maybe tell your "legal expert" friend to use that degree as kindling for a BBQ instead—it might actually be useful to society if she stops spreading misinformation.🙄🙄🙄
To all the people whining about how expensive lawyers are—please, feel free to weigh in on this thread... ☕
