It's just one of those situations where everything seems to point toward the same inevitable conclusion, and yet everyone acts like it's some massive, unforeseen shocker when it finally happens. Like, come on, give me a break. We saw this coming from a mile away, and frankly, if you didn't, you probably weren't paying attention. It's almost funny in a dark, cynical sort of way, watching the wheels turn while everyone else pretends they aren't watching the same clock. Anyway, that's just my two cents, though I'm sure someone will tell me I'm completely off base, which is fine, really, because at this point, I've stopped expecting anyone to actually get it.
