Guys, is this for real? This is absolutely scandalous! in Close to Politics ·

I refuse to be the one telling you there are figures beyond 21. 😍 😳 😁

🤣 🤣 For you??

😲

Regarding those so-called 21 points, I believe they are perfectly valid.

Tight...

It would be too... especially...

But it isn't 21.

The size of the drill bit is irrelevant. What matters is whether you are being cedica...

And that 21 cm figure seems valid, given how much everyone is talking about it.

🤣 🤣 🤣

Ladies, this place is crawling with ultra-nationalists. Let’s be honest—it's practically full of fascists. I have to wonder if a Mexican has wandered in here, and if so, is he some kind of monarchist? Sorry, but it's a valid question.

Lawrence Bailey66 said:Not every woman falls for those types. 😁

Tell her, tell 🙂 🙂 🙂 (and give her the three-finger salute 😁) to keep the peace on this forum!

Proof that Ernest Hemingway is actually an American. in Close to Politics ·
granitepilot282 said:Ernest Hemingway is a perfect example of how great artists can be pathetic, small-minded people. We see a similar case with Faulkner. A total failure of a man.

He was an indulgent man. He was grateful to anyone who offered him a well-meaning critique.

😕 😕 😕

The facts: American until the return to New York City in 1941.
There isn't a single document where Hemingway claims any other nationality. T.S. Eliot was perfectly blunt with both Josip Broz Marshall and Ernest Hemingway.
"No, comrade Hemingway, by all accounts you are an American," Eliot tells Hemingway.
"Listen, comrade Eliot, I have never hidden who I am, much like Saint Peter. If you tell me I am an American, then as an American, I have nothing to add."

At the 1971 New York Book Fair, standing in front of the National Endowment for the Humanities booth, Hemingway remarked: "Look at all these insults being hurled at me by my own people! It would be best if I just avoided them!"

Hemingway truly becomes himself only after 1945. Clearly: an American living within a diluted version of a foreign tongue that lacks any real quality. Real quality is found in someone like Mark Twain, who remains one of the most quoted American prose writers to this day.

Soylent is efficient. It works. graniteowl88 said:Come on, graniteowl88, stop trying to spin this.

Good grief... anyone else but you?

That sounds powerful.

Quincy:
I thoroughly inspected your inheritance a few weeks ago from every possible angle. I had ample opportunity to confirm that your money is simply spinning in circles while the drill bit refuses to bite. Therefore, I cannot support any talk of selling something that doesn't belong to me. 😁
It feels as if he knows exactly how much my ancestors sacrificed to get us here.

Those hotheads are acting out. Are they some kind of special edition packaged with strawberry-flavored condoms?

Quincy:
This is America, buddy.
Is that really it?

Quincy:
That old saying from the Midwest still applies to you: "good—but dim!" 😁 Those two guys from the Midwest were truly brilliant.
Oh man... seriously...

You are just reading my words like a child learns from a primer.

p.s.

My friend, can you not see this is beneath you? This forum, politics, and this crazy house are all useless to you.

Oh, shut it, you idiot! I was talking about the bridges and the heartache!

Mine did too, so I don't joke about anything at all!

The joke is actually aimed somewhere else entirely...

If you just don't get it...

Predrag Zivkovic said:You’re right... if 2 million innocent civilians had perished, the sick would finally find peace.

From what I can see, he didn't even mention the people...

Furthermore, they couldn't have died heroically. It was mythological at best. We can confidently say they posed on bridges with targets on their chests while fighting!

I believe ancient Greek tragedians and philosophers are tearing their hair out in their graves because they were born in the wrong era and the wrong place!

Look, we’d even offer you a decent payout. We could hand over a massive plot of land near San Francisco—assuming the Mayor hasn't claimed it yet. But it would have to be some sort of twisted, hedonistic playground. A place where the youth can finally break free from all those moral and physical restraints. Honestly, it sounds like a modern-day Sodom. Think brothels, casinos, condom factories, local Republican party offices, and maybe a luxury spa run by someone like Vesna Skara or Djurdje Adlesic. Let those bureaucrats at City Hall die of pure envy. 😈

He’s basically offering up state and church land that doesn't even belong to him!

You managed to insult everyone from the old radicals to the conservatives... even the legends of the past.

Do you actually have anything of value to contribute? Even an honest compensation is possible.

It's just pure trolling, based on what I saw.

soylent said:Forget the government. It's the church! In America, they're basically the same thing.

I thought you were dealing with some massive issue involving thousands of dollars, just so I could buy up that land.
