Can anyone suggest a quick build for under $6k? I can stretch the budget a bit if I have to $167. Looking at Dell or maybe somewhere better. I’d want to pay in installments. The PC would mostly be for gaming. No monitor needed.
Everything's running smoothly now. I updated my Norton, ran a full system scan, and my speeds are back up to ten. Maybe I just got unlucky with that Hulu setup and picked up some malware along the way, who knows. All that matters is that everything's working again. Thanks, everyone! 🙂
If it were just Vimeo acting up, I’d at least know where the problem lies. Right now, everything feels broken. I'm trying to run an update for McAfee—it's only 35MB—but it's going to take 25 to 30 minutes to finish. It should take less than a minute. Something is seriously messed up. 🙂
A technician came by and told his supervisors to bump my connection up to 10Mbps for internet and 5Mbps for Hulu, but the Speedtest results are still garbage. Let me be clear: my torrent speeds are fine—hitting that same 1.2MB per second I had before, regardless of whether Hulu is working or not. BUT browsing is terrible, and Vimeo is basically unusable. I tried everything, ran the tests, and it’s still garbage. My speed is sitting at a pathetic 2.05 Mbps. How do they expect to replace Hulu by just swapping out the hardware?
I’ve shut down everything running in the background, but it doesn't matter. They reset things a couple of times, and I even had a technician from Comcast out here the day before yesterday to swap out the router, but it's the exact same story. He was actually baffled that the Speedtest results were coming back identical. He even brought his own laptop over to run some tests, and honestly, it was the same shit all over again. I should point out that this all started right after we signed up for Hulu, even though I can download files at full speed and stream Hulu without any buffering.
Hey, I’ve got a weird one for you. I'm paying for a 10 Mbps plan, but my Speedtest results are hovering around 2-3 Mbps. It’s driving me nuts because when I’m downloading a file, the speed seems fine, but the second I try to browse or watch anything on Vimeo, everything crawls. I have to manually drop the quality to 360p, and even then, I’m constantly hitting pause just to let the damn thing buffer. Anyone have any clue what might be causing this?
I’m also curious about how you actually train for this, even though I've never done it myself. I only really started following the sport a few months back. Anyway, according to the Oklahoma City Thunder Facebook page: "TRAINING tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 PM at the local convention center pavilion 2 don't let fear or laziness win—SHOW UP." Sometimes, though it’s rare, I get this ringing in my ears or sounds just seem to muffle out, but it only lasts for a few seconds. I've also got noticeable vision issues—my distance vision is pretty weak. I'm 21 years old. thanks!
For the last month or so, I’ve been dealing with these intense bouts of dizziness. Every time I lie down in bed and rest my head on the pillow to one side, it feels like something is pouring from my brain straight into my eyes. The spinning gets so violent I can't even focus my vision and my stomach churns like I'm about to throw up. It doesn't matter if my eyes are open or closed; it's just as bad. My sister couldn't believe what she was seeing when I laid down next to her earlier; my eyes were darting left and right, desperately trying to find a focal point. I should mention this all started after I wiped out on my bike, though I didn't hit my head or anything major. I shredded my left palm pretty bad, and it took me forever just to get back home. Once I arrived, I soaked some cotton in rubbing alcohol and pressed it hard against the open wound until I nearly blacked out. My sister told me later that was a terrible idea, but whatever. Is it possible that what I did actually caused this?
I took a hard fall when I was a kid, hit my head on a step, and I've had this bump on the right side of my skull ever since. Honestly, I can't tell if it's from the accident or if I was just born that way. I've seen doctors and surgeons, and they all basically tell me the same thing: yeah, the right side is more pronounced than the left, but there's no need to touch it and it's "normal." That doesn't help much, though, because whenever I press on it, I get this weird sensation—like the area is hollow or something. It’s been a huge insecurity for me, and frankly, it still is. So, I figured I'd ask if anyone here actually understands surgical procedures 😁: is it possible to skip the removal process entirely? Instead of cutting it out, could they just inject something under the bump to fill in that gap, effectively leveling out my skull so both sides match? 🙂 It feels stupid asking this on a forum, but I don't know what else to do.

It's my go-to when I'm flying solo, wandering the city streets at night; it's just perfect atmosphere. Those melodies pull you into a completely different world. It's honestly indescribable. This is a guy who just wants to make music and stay anonymous, yet he's managed to pull in this massive audience. Imagine that kind of mental strength. 🙂 Respect. I've been spinning his tracks for months. Still playing them today. If I could just have access to his hard drive for one day and listen to everything he's ever produced... that'd be the dream. 😁 It's a shame he doesn't drop new material more often. At least they should put online whatever Kode9 is spinning in clubs in his place. 🙂
