Emma stopped by the local statistics office in a small town in the Midwest yesterday to check on the pricing for those cookies...

They're quoting $30/kg...but if you pick up more than 15 kg, the rate drops to $27/kg...

Seems way too steep for me...👎

I had an atheroma removed by her and everything healed perfectly. 👍

The initial consultation is $83 and then they give you a quote for the actual procedure... In my case, it came out to $417 (surgery plus the pathology report).

Which is why I was wondering what the chances were of ordering something from the Midwest...

I'm actually pretty picky about sweets since I bake high-quality stuff myself, though only for special occasions (for example, I make about 15 different types of mini cookies for 😛 )

A quick question for our Midwest girls...

I was just out in Indianapolis this past weekend for a wedding, and I am still thinking about those desserts. I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews about Midwestern baking my whole life, but this was actually my first time tasting the real deal...🙏

So now I'm wondering: what are the odds of me ordering my wedding treats from someone out in the Midwest? Would it even make sense financially to have them shipped or brought in? And more importantly, does anyone have a specific baker they’d recommend?

It wasn't terrible, though personally, I can't stand it when they line the tables up in long rows...it meant I could only really hold a conversation with two or three people sitting directly across from me...

On the bright side, the food was absolutely fantastic, I have to give them that...but the music wore me out. I usually love country music and good old Midwest tunes...but they played three straight 45-minute sets of nothing but novelty songs...

I danced during the first set, but after that, I was bored out of my mind...for crying out loud, give us some variety! Or at least break those blocks up into shorter intervals...

Bravo! I actually picked up a pound of those exact cookies from Walmart yesterday just to test them out, and my family absolutely loved them...
