Issues with Yahoo Mail in IT Support ·
Ever since I made the switch to Windows 10 at home—even though I've been a loyal Chrome user forever—I’ve run into this annoying little hiccup whenever I try to log into my Yahoo mail. It isn't even a matter of typing in my password anymore; instead, I have to grab my phone or tablet and manually approve the login request just to prove it's actually me sitting at the computer. It’s a bit of a hassle, really. Just about a month ago, back when I was still running Windows XP, Chrome would just remember my credentials without any of these extra hoops to jump through.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this or how I can fix it?
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I’m looking for some recommendations for a doctor—maybe someone specializing in cardiology or internal medicine—that I could talk to about managing high blood pressure issues.
Which bank should I choose for a new account? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Hmm... okay. I actually went ahead and requested a meeting with my personal banker at Bank of America, so let's just wait and see what they have to say about all this.
Which bank should I choose for a new account? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’m seriously thinking about jumping ship from Bank of America because I feel like they’re playing games with my account balances.
Basically, I have this routine where I check my online banking after work to see if my paycheck has cleared. Everything looks fine at first. Then, I head to the grocery store and swipe my debit card. But when I log back in later today, the math just doesn't add up—it’s like the transaction for my purchase hit the account first, plunging me into a negative balance, and then, almost as an afterthought, the direct deposit finally settled.
And honestly, this isn't just a one-off glitch; it’s happened before.

So now I’m spending my evening browsing through different options to see which bank might actually be more reliable. Since I’ve managed to build up a decent amount of savings—both in dollars and some foreign currency I've been holding onto—I want to make sure I pick the right place. What criteria should I be looking at when deciding on a new bank?
Cracked heels: any recommendations? in Health ·
I really can't recommend Vaseline enough. Honestly, I’ve cycled through just about everything—from high-end luxury brands to the budget stuff at the drugstore—but this stuff is a total game-changer. My skin acts up constantly, no matter what the season is or how much the weather changes, but this cream always manages to save the day. It’s super affordable too (I think it's around $5.25) and, most importantly, it absorbs incredibly fast without leaving that gross, greasy film behind!

Thanks so much for sharing that info!!!
Is it actually possible to get a wig covered by Medicare after I've only finished my second out of six chemo cycles?
I'm trying to figure out how the process works—what are the steps, what does it end up costing me out of pocket, and where should I even start looking?
Thanks so much, everyone!
I could really use some help interpreting these tumor marker results!

Now that my colon surgery is behind me, I just had my first round of blood work done so we can decide on the next steps for my treatment plan.
The results came back as follows:

CEA - 1.3 mcg/mL ( CA-19-9 - 8 U/mL ( CA-125 - 8 U/mL ( CA-15-3 - 17 U/mL (
From what I’ve gathered, CEA seems to be a more general marker—though I think CA-15-3 is specifically used for colon cancer, while CA-19-9 and CA-125 are usually associated with breast or ovarian cancer.

My main question is: are these numbers actually too high? Even though they are well within the normal range, I'm wondering if these markers need to drop all the way down to zero, or if being safely under the reference limit means everything is looking good.

Thanks so much! 🙏
Best ways to save money right now? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’m looking at setting aside roughly $333 or maybe around 150 Dollars each month. I've been weighing two different approaches and would love some perspective—is it smarter to put $333 into a high-yield savings account every month, essentially building up a pool of cash, and then wait until the summer when the exchange rate might be more favorable before converting everything into Dollars all at once? Or should I just start converting my monthly savings into Dollars immediately as I go?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can share.

Can anyone jump in and give them a hand?
What happens to your loans if you pass away? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
When my mom passed away, she still had an outstanding loan that hadn't been fully paid off—my dad was actually the guarantor on it. We ended up sitting down with JPMorgan Chase and worked out a specific arrangement where we set up a recurring automatic transfer from my dad’s account into hers to cover the monthly payments. It wasn't a huge ordeal; we just wanted to make sure everything stayed on track. It was only after the very last payment cleared and the debt was officially settled that they finally closed out her checking account for good. Everything went smoothly because we just communicated clearly with the bank.
One thing to watch out for—kidney issues can sometimes show up physically through darker skin pigmentation around the eyes, specifically affecting both the upper and lower eyelids

Dry skin solutions for face? in Health ·
My skin reacts so aggressively to the chlorine in tap water that I actually stopped washing my face with it altogether—I switched to using Neutrogena thermal water instead. Honestly, it made such a massive difference in how my skin looks and feels. You should really give it a shot. Before I made the change, my face was incredibly dry, especially around my eyes and mouth; it felt so tight and the skin was actually starting to crack. But now? Everything is back to normal! 👍

Is there any reason why I can't see all the images in certain posts??!! 😕 😕

For example—when I’m browsing the beauty and skincare threads, everything loads perfectly fine, but over in the pet section? Not a single image is showing up for me!!! 😢

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeast

Yeast—specifically *Saccharomyces cerevisiae*—is what bakers rely on as a leavening agent; basically, it takes those fermentable sugars sitting in the dough and converts them into carbon dioxide. That’s what actually makes the dough expand or rise, since all that CO2 creates little pockets or bubbles inside the structure.

WOAH, CALM DOWN FOR A SECOND!!!!

Do you honestly think nobody has ever eaten mold before? 🙄

Think about it—if you have some jam that’s gone fuzzy and you just scrape off the top layer and eat the rest, you really think you’re safe? You’re dead wrong!!! The second you can see it with your eyes, it means there's enough of it to have spread through the entire container.

And what then?! NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!

Besides, if you ever snack on peanuts and bite into one that tastes bitter or looks discolored on the surface where it started to sprout, just know you might have consumed the most toxic mold on the planet! We're talking about the deadliest toxin ever discovered.

And guess what! It's not like there's a specific tribe out in rural Africa that lives almost exclusively on peanuts, which is why they end up with tumor rates 500 times higher than people who moved away from those areas!

That kind of stuff is genuinely concerning, not some "nonsense" that you just swallowed blindly!!!!!

For me, this isn't just "useless trivia"—it's actually my livelihood, because... well, these little details are basically my bread and butter. 😍
