You can send it via standard shipping (up to 4.4 lbs too), but there's zero security there. Usually, you shouldn't even bother bringing it in unsealed.

No worries😁

Ugh, I know exactly what you meant...🙂I was talking about that whole thing where you close it up and then have to rip it open again later...😉I dealt with that once, which is why I made that comment about them stealing it🙂. It’s straight-up robbery, and honestly, there's no guarantee the package will even show up at this point.😢😢
Nicole Lee4 said:It’s a total headache
you have to take it wide open to the Post Office, fill out customs declarations and a bunch of other paperwork, and honestly, the whole thing is pricey.
If you're sending something to Canada, say a 1.50 kg package, you're looking at at least $43
I'd suggest budgeting about $120.00, and yeah, you still have to show up with everything unpacked.
You can't just ship it sealed.
Anyway, hope that helps.

That is insane!!😲Man, and they want it open too? What if they just rob me... I've actually had stuff swiped before, unfortunately.😢..Dammit, I was planning on sending a gift to a friend for her baby's birthday..this is straight-up robbery! Is there really no other way??😢😢
Nicole Lee4, thanks so much for the heads up.🙂
Hey everyone.🙂I’ve got a quick question... I don't really have the bandwidth to dig through old threads to see if this has been asked before, so if anyone can help me out, I'd seriously appreciate it..🙂
What’s the deal with shipping packages to Canada or Mexico? How do you guys usually handle it, and what kind of value do you list on the label? It’s nothing fragile, just a standard package. Thanks in advance!🙂
Hey, quick question if I haven't already asked this... sorry if I missed it, I haven't read through everything yet.
Basically, I need to ship a package over to Mexico, and I'm totally lost on how the shipping works. But honestly, my biggest headache is figuring out how to actually get the money paid back into my account from over there. Like, what's the deal? Registered mail is out of the question because apparently they have to open the package right at the counter during drop-off, and they won't take any cash. Western Union is just way too expensive. How are you guys handling this? It’s my first time dealing with this whole mess, so I’d really appreciate any info you can throw my way. Thanks everyone!🙂
Forgiveness in Spirituality ·
I’ve forgiven things that most people honestly couldn't handle. I did it for my own sake, because I refuse to let myself turn into some bitter, washed-up woman. And yeah, look, it’s hard. There are days where I catch myself questioning if I actually made the right call... but deep down, I know I did. I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks or says about it. I did this for me, based on my own values and what I believe in.
Which bank should I choose for a new account? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Lisa Watson6 said:Does nobody have an answer? 😢

Just hop on Google and look up whatever bank you’ve got in your neck of the woods. They lay everything out right there—all the different stuff you can actually do with an account. There are tons of options out there...🙂just pick between Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, or whatever else is nearby...😉
Forgiveness vs. Ego: How do you let go? in Spirituality ·
Peter Phillips32 said:Oh, wonderful. It’s just great to feel like some kind of deity, isn't it? Even if it's just for a fleeting second when you’re smugly wielding the power of forgiveness like it's some tool you've selfishly decided to let others use... I mean, I guess that's the ultimate goal, right? To be godlike.
But honestly, who actually manufactures this "goal," and what's their angle?

If you want to wrap your head around why forgiveness is basically just a complementary product designed by some (organized) follower group to balance out their other product—sin—you have to look at it through the lens of psychological defense mechanisms.

The whole premise is built on a flawed foundation because it tries to pit forgiveness against the ego, when in reality, they’re actually working hand-in-hand.
Setting them against each other implies conflict, and what ever comes from conflict? Like, when two sides go to war, is there even a winner or a loser? Everyone fighting is losing, period. Even in an "internal" struggle where different manifestations of the ego clash... well, no matter which part of the ego wins, you're still just left with a fragmented ego.
Who else builds their entire future on the ashes of their enemies?

So, if the idea is to use forgiveness to feel "godlike," then obviously the act of forgiving stems from the ego—it's an inherently ego-driven move. But there’s more to the story than just that.

Someone commits an act that’s labeled a sin, something "wrong" or "invalid," and then this "forgiveness" is prescribed to neutralize it. But think about what that actually entails...
Forgiveness is framed as this divine power (or so they tell us), so when someone acts as the forgiver, they're playing God. It's a massive ego trip.
The way forgiveness works is that it attempts—though fails miserably—to change what already happened. It's a total mental gymnastic stunt. Since you can't actually rewrite history, all you're really doing is performing a little psychological trick to relieve the pressure or guilt caused by the action.
Essentially, the person granting forgiveness puts themselves in a superior position compared to the person receiving it, creating this unnecessary power imbalance. One person holds all the cards, and the receiver ends up in debt. They’re suddenly beholden to the person who "allowed" them to be forgiven.

And that’s where gratitude enters the fray. Gratitude serves as a way to restore psychological equilibrium between the person in debt and the person holding the claim.
But what is gratitude really about, besides paying back a debt? It’s also about the praise the recipient gives to the forgiver. In that moment, the forgiver is feeling superior, and they seek out that validation—that ego boost—through praise to reinforce their dominant position.

So, whether we're talking about praise, thanks, forgiveness, or sins, they all seem to follow this same pattern. It's all part of the same machine.

I don't buy that "egoist" part at all... Why on earth would I be selfish just because I chose to forgive?😕🤷Because I refuse to live in a cloud of hate, turning into some bitter, resentful woman eaten alive by anger. I don't want to end up becoming just like the person who screwed me over in the first place...🤷It's just how I am. I'm not doing it for anyone else; I'm doing it for myself. It makes me feel good, like I've been cleansed. I don't want to drag this heavy baggage from my past around. Look, some things aren't easy to let go of, but I'm working on it. And honestly, why wouldn't you? You aren't proving anything to anyone but yourself... showing that you're a human who messes up but also knows how to forgive. But you've gotta be self-aware about your own screw-ups too, and have the guts to actually say it and show it. Not everyone can do that—to own up and make amends.🙂I'm not looking for a handout or a debt to be paid. I'm not expecting anything. Unlike some people out there, I've finally figured out what actually matters and what's worth fighting for. But hey, that's a whole different conversation.
Forgiveness vs. Ego: How do you let go? in Spirituality ·
Look, I’m not the type to hold a grudge. If I realize I messed up, I’ll be the first to say "my bad" and own it..
Sometimes, depending on how bad things get, I don't just forget it—it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, you know? But I still forgive. I just refuse to carry around someone else's bitterness, hate, or garbage... I have zero interest in turning into some bitter, hateful old woman. For me, forgiving is actually kind of healing. As for the person who hurt me? I don't wish them any ill will, but things aren't ever going to be the same. I'm more cautious now, definitely more skeptical, but I still try to believe there's at least a tiny shred of good left in everyone. If there isn't... well, they'll have to answer to God for that..
I always go back to that saying: To err is human, to forgive divine.🙂

With FedEx, the recipient can choose to cover the shipping costs themselves.
And if you need the rates, just check the link I posted on the previous page.

Thanks a ton!🙂
I've got a quick question... I'm not sure if someone already asked this, so my bad if they did—I really can't be bothered to scroll through everything from the start...😁
Is it actually possible to send a package via certified mail where the recipient covers the shipping costs? And I don't mean those crazy expensive overnight services, just like regular USPS mail...🤷Also, what kind of prices are we talking about usually? thanks.🙂

I usually just send my stuff via certified mail, and it runs me about $13 to $5.00, but if I need to mark it as fragile, the price jumps up to like $20... you get a receipt obviously, and I tell them the value of the package, though that’s really up to you guys. 😉If you try to go the overnight express route, man, they will absolutely rip you off...
Has anyone tried Trinovum? in Women's Health ·
Ugh, okay, so back before I had kids, I used to take Trinovum after my checkups and everything... didn't have a single issue.🙂Well, I decided to start looking for them again and I've been on them for seven days now, but I totally skipped reading the instructions for Birth Control😵 so I was just winging it. Like, the manual clearly says you take the white pills for week one, pink for week two, orange for week three, and you're supposed to start the first pill on day one of your period. But here's the thing... I'm still spotting, and honestly, I'm losing my mind. Is this even normal?? It's been seven years since I last touched this stuff so I completely forgot how the whole process works. Is it possible I'm still bleeding because I didn't start with those white tablets? Does that actually matter??😕After I finished the first four pills, I switched over to the white ones. When is this spotting going to stop? Usually, after having two kids, my period lasts about five days, but today makes it seven..😕
