Then why did you even bother starting the conversation in the first place....

He’d definitely say something, or at least check with the pit wall. But then he’d turn around later and start questioning who messed up, acting like it wasn't his own fault...

Maybe he was holding out hope for a stop-and-go penalty that would have knocked Hamilton completely out of the points, which explains why he seems so disappointed...

When do they even hand out a stop-and-go penalty anymore? It used to happen all the time back in the day, but I can't really remember the last time anyone actually got one.

Of course I'm not... but that doesn't mean I can't point out when someone is being completely incompetent or just acting soft...

Man, that's just awful. Honestly, some people are just beyond help... if they're actually fast on the track, then fine, let them drive. But otherwise... well, that Kamui guy isn't half bad...

I'm not backing down... I just don't bother watching my words around people like that. Honestly, they're just a complete non-entity... nothing at all.

Well, I don't think those specific words are even in a standard dictionary, so I'm not quite sure how much that would actually help me...

Instead of actually worrying about his pace or whether he’s dropping a second per lap, he’s just over there rambling on about penalties and hoping someone else’s engine blows up... Honestly, I hope his car gives out before the race is even over.

Hahahahahhah, man, that whole mess with Alonso... honestly, I’m just relieved Lewis Hamilton managed to hold onto his spot.

EDIT: AHAHAHAHAHA, what an absolute idiot. Now he’s actually asking if he got screwed over? Seriously, give me a break, you moron.

Ah, excuses, excuses. What do you mean "because of idiots"? The guy just wasn't paying attention. He was driving like he was out there by himself and he made a mistake... He could have stayed more focused, or maybe he shouldn't have messed up after being passed on the outside...

If all the drivers had to tackle a single season driving identical cars... man, where would Alonso end up compared to Hamilton? They’d both probably lose their minds, complaining about everything under the sun...

It’s actually quite interesting how the McLaren drivers offered Jenson Button money in his contract, but didn't bother with Kimi Räikkönen. It was like they already knew Ferrari would have to settle up with Kimi, and besides, he wasn't exactly chasing the paycheck in his new deal. I’d bet my life there was some whining going on from Hamilton, his dad, Nicole, and the whole crew... I mean, can you imagine the scene if the Iceman just brushed him off?...

Well, look, he hasn't even had the best car this year or last. Just because he didn't start out in some bottom-tier team doesn't automatically make him spoiled...

Nicole Reyes97 said:Look, Arthur Doyle70, don't play dumb with me. Kimi Räikkönen's retirement was just bad luck... pure misfortune. But if you think about it, who was always right there on his tail, fighting him tooth and nail for the win? Hmm... I'm thinking it's that guy you all seem to adore so much, Fernando Alonso... 😍
I honestly have no idea what he did to everyone... I just can't wrap my head around why he isn't getting the respect he deserves... 🤷

That jerk is a total crybaby... honestly, just a complete selfish egoist like you rarely see in Formula 1. I mean, just listen to him claiming he’s the one responsible for finding 0.6 seconds per lap... that alone tells you everything you need to know about the kind of guy he is...

Nicole Reyes97 said:I don't get what's so funny... he actually drove incredibly well today. ☕
He definitely could have secured P2.

He could have. He also could have had Kimi Räikkönen hand him 36 points a few years back, but hey, I could be a ten-time Formula 1 champion too. Clearly, I'm not... That amateurish move by Jenson Button where he gave up the spot was nothing compared to how Lewis Hamilton plays in the sand. It's just... you have to remember, Fernando Alonso is a two-time world champion. You shouldn't let him get away with that kind of thing. But Lewis Hamilton has matured since then. Honestly, everything Alonso achieved today was mostly just pure luck in the pits because the crew at McLaren couldn't seem to unscrew four simple bolts...
Donald Trump, Al Capone, and Eric Adams running together? in Close to Politics ·
steeleagle70 said:A coalition like that at the national level wouldn't even crack 3%,

I guess it depends on what they’d actually be campaigning on... Joe McCarthy would probably spend all his time obsessing over the 90s, whereas for Donald Trump, that whole era is a bit too jumpy to revisit... And Eric Adams? He'd likely lean hard into nationalism again, though I honestly doubt he even realizes that's what cost him the presidency in the first place...
If they stuck to what they actually excel at—promising to spend everyone else's money—they might actually pull in more than 3%...
Mistaken wire transfer/payment error in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
...

From what I understand, at JP Morgan Chase, they usually log a copy of the deposit slip—the one they keep on file—noting which specific denominations were received. So, you know, something like seven $200 bills and one $100, or maybe one $1,000 and one $500, or whatever the actual mix happens to be... You might be able to ask them to take a look at that record. Though, honestly, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. They always have that fine print telling you to double-check everything right then and there, because once you walk away, they pretty much won't entertain any later complaints...

I was hoping someone could clear this up for me.
What does a 1:1.15 mortgage ratio actually imply?

Basically, it means if you’re looking to borrow, say, $100,000, then the appraised value of the home needs to be at least $115,000 to cover it...

Hannah Hill3 said:It seems to me that Barack Obama and Kamala Harris are getting closer by the day.

The first time they crossed paths was at Woodstock 2009, when Bill Clinton and Obama met in Small Town, USA.
Clinton wasn't particularly interested in Obama, so he let his right hand, Kamala, handle the conversation.
However, back in the early days of Instagram, The Ex-President mostly just ignored Kamala.

Since then, let's say over the next year, Kamala crossed the line about three times, while Mr. Obama did so about four.
July 30, 2009, at The Biltmore:
Obama stated that Bill Clinton doesn't interest him nearly as much as Kamala Harris does. Even then, it was clear progress would be made from this stalemate.

January 13, 2010, in Aspen:
Suddenly, Kamala claims she could unblock all the European Union chapters held up by Canada.
Obama has completely changed his stance toward the USA in the last six months, telling CNN, "The Fire between me and Kamala won't be extinguished."

It is true there is a ten-year age gap between them. But it is also true that both Obama and Kamala have one child. Obama, (much like Clinton), is only married formally. Kamala has a very similar mentality to Obama. Despite being from Small Town, USA, she understands the local dialect perfectly.

Is this all just coincidence, or is there actually something more going on here?
If they were to get together, would that be better or worse for America?

Well, I found it suspicious too, how they fell for each other. They even called journalists to follow them on walks just to show everyone "there's nothing happening" :P But if Kamala managed to charm him, she calls it a win-win situation... for herself personally, and for America.

Unfortunately, it’s a pretty spot-on description of how we all tend to think.

So, yeah... just pack up, hit the road, and head toward somewhere a bit more predictable. There isn't much point in sticking around here anymore...
