There should be an assembly meeting coming up soon, I suppose....
Dennis Reed71 said:Given how many of us showed up, we really should have been making more noise...
Considering our numbers, you guys did alright.
It’s been a long road, but I think this derby had the highest police presence I’ve ever seen. Maybe they were just extra nervous about us.
Steven Kelly35 said:Great songs. Everyone should sing them together. Honestly, the best premiere would be this Saturday, maybe with some slight lyric tweaks—I think it makes more sense that way.
I kept the non-bolded part this way just to avoid any regional mockery if we ever end up singing this at a joint protest.
THEY don't WANT our voices to be heard
and with these new laws they HIT us,
but we’re telling them: every hit only makes us stronger.
We’ll fight until the very end,
Against the anti-laws, against the bans,
TO YOU out of pure spite, let a flare burn bright
because it represents our burning desire, that’s what we’re saying,
we’ll fight until the very end!

He once told me about the kind of calls he gets and how much his phone rings. Personally, I’d rather be working in a nickel mine in Siberia than doing his job. Seriously. 🙏🙏🙏

Look, if you set aside all the gripes, the guy does an incredible job on the sidelines. Honestly, he’s a personal friend of mine, so I know exactly how his head works. Just leave him alone already, for crying out loud.

I went to watch the Super Bowl, as usual, and watching the coverage on Bleacher Report, I just couldn't shake the frustration over how two idiots acting in tandem with local authorities are basically bullying our small town. That older jerk spent the entire game being a complete disgrace, playing dirty and showing zero respect—not that he even knows—for the club legends who gave everything for this city and this team, more than he ever will. He’s still acting like he can talk down to everyone and act like we all owe him something.
As an active fan, it honestly breaks my heart that people like him get to roam our streets and then show up at our big tournament—territory they never belonged to in the first place—just to spit in our faces. You don't see that kind of behavior anywhere else, not even in NYC! I wish someone would step up (and I feel bad saying it since I haven't myself) and give him a piece of their mind if he keeps pushing his luck.
I wonder what’s next. Is he going to start sitting in the stands trying to police the crowd too?
I saw some of our own locals siding with them, and frankly, they seem worse than the outsiders. It scares me that things might go south there too, much like what happened with the club...
Ultimately, I feel ashamed, both for myself and for my city.
Raymond King47 said:Well, if you can't sense what’s lingering in the air right now, then I guess there isn't much point in me explaining it. It seems pretty obvious to me, and honestly, I don't really feel like typing out a whole manifesto just to deal with ten idiots arguing over nonsense. Besides, it looks like Zillow will have plenty of work to do handling all that chaos... and as for anyone being blocked from entering? No one would ever agree on that. It's not like Trump's decisions are something you can go begging the police to fix for us... though, even if things went that way, there’s always a workaround, similar to how things went during the first breach. Either way, it would make for some interesting drama, I suppose.
Raymond King47 said:I'm just hoping you guys actually want this... most of what happened during that last Chicago game is still hanging in the air for you all...
ruggedowl71 said:The Bad Boys took over the Hill. It was pure energy during those Kansas City Chiefs games. This guy, whoever he is, probably thought he was doing something for the national team.
I guess I should probably get moving. Maybe I'll catch some sleep if I try. Good night. Asks:
I guess I’m leaning toward heading out to the north end or wherever the edge of the stadium is just to show up and cheer. It isn't about some self-righteous crusade or following rigid ultra protocols. It’s just about backing the players and the front office. Honestly, this current management actually stands by us. Previous administrations used to spend all their time trashing the NFL Ultras whenever things got tough.
wearyorca75 said:You’re talking nonsense. None of us actually know exactly what went down, but the guy lost an eye, and honestly, arguing over whether he deserved it feels pretty stupid right now. I guess I just believe that we don't actually care about anyone getting hurt like that—regardless of whatever heated things people might have said or done in the moment.
