So, I can confirm that both hiddenwalker30 and our banned friend Flissicoo will be there.

I'll be there too.

Anyone down to swap numbers via DM just in case I'm running late or something?

I promise I won't be calling you at 3 AM just to breathe heavily into the phone. 😁

I’ve been up since 5 AM feeling heavy... and my head feels even heavier. 😁

Good morning... ☕ 🙂

restlesstrucker15 said:I am wide awake. Greetings to everyone who knows me. I have a question for those of you currently taking Quetiapine, Seroquel, or similar medications... I am currently on an extended medical leave, and I am wondering if it is worth attempting the 25 mg dose of Seroquel again just to get some sleep. I tried it twice, lasting ten days each time, but I found myself unable to function until about 6:00 PM. > The 12.5 mg dose failed to put me to sleep entirely, yet left me feeling hungover until noon. My psychiatrist told me that if a medication still struggles to work after ten days, then it simply isn't the right fit for you. She clearly sees how much I am struggling with insomnia. For those of you who have used this, how long did it take for your body to adjust? Personally, I would be fine with feeling a bit groggy until 10:00 AM. Perhaps I might try it again now that I am on vacation. It wouldn't just be grogginess; it would feel more like watching a movie in slow motion—a total coma. I am at a loss for what else to try, as things like Calixte didn't work for me. Trazodone was tolerable, though it kept me sluggish until midday. However, my job involves teaching, which means I can't just stare blankly at a computer screen all day; I need to be actively engaging and animating others.

Seroquel really drains you... feels like it eats up every nutrient in your body. For me, staying super hydrated before bed helped a lot, so give that a shot. If that doesn't work... maybe try something lighter, like Prazina.

Just from the Xanax for me. 😁

Sorry, I just had to. Just a little bit of spam, I promise—I'll be good, Scout's honor. 😁

I actually had hallucinations from Sanval too... but they were more like waking hallucinations..

With Seroquel, I was out cold... though there were moments where I'd be half-asleep and have these totally twisted dreams...

One morning, I woke up next to my kid... and for some reason, my brain convinced me he was my nephew and that I’d somehow traveled back to when I was fifteen (back then, my nephew was little and I used to babysit him constantly, so we were super close). It lasted maybe thirty seconds... and I look at him and say:
"Go ahead, tell me who your mom is."
And he just looks at me and goes: "Mom."
It gave me such a jolt. Then it hit me—I actually *am* his mom. It was creepy as hell. 🤦 🤣

Personally, I need somewhere we can actually smoke.
How do you guys feel about that?

shadowbear9 said:Whatever, I went way too hard on the Misoprostol once, and I actually started bleeding from my nose so badly they couldn't stop it... I spent two days getting "cleaned out" in the hospital.

How did they not admit you to the local psych ward after all that?

Has anyone ever dealt with hallucinations in their dreams from taking Seroquel?

shadowbear9 said:So, here is another survivor... I guess you could say I'm still standing. About two weeks ago, after going three straight days without any sleep, I completely lost my mind. I ended up taking God knows how many 100mg Loquena pills—maybe ten of them?—and then added another twenty milligrams on top of that. And even then, I still couldn't get a single wink of sleep. ☕ So, they took me to the detox center, and I was sitting there all cheerful, fidgeting with my IV line because it was bothering me... and then, well... that’s about it. I could have easily poisoned myself and ended up dead. Maybe I should have just stayed home.

Ten 100mg Lorazepam pills? And you're just casually saying, "that's how close I came to dying"?

I once took over 70 Seroquel 150mg tablets.
And don't even get me started on the 60 Klonopin 2mg pills I washed down with them—those were nothing. 😵

restlesstiger49 said:I’ve been getting those sudden jerks myself, right at the moment I'm finally starting to drift off during an afternoon nap. 😁It was happening for about a week straight. Now, it’s finally let up. As for those dreams, it seems like they're a direct side effect of the Velafax. I've been doing well on it for the last three weeks, but strangely enough, that's exactly when I started remembering my dreams more often. The problem is, they aren't exactly pleasant—they feel more like night terrors, and I've been waking up constantly throughout the night because of them.
Lately, I’ve been waking up feeling pretty exhausted, even if I manage to get eight hours of sleep or more. To make matters worse, my muscles have been aching like crazy. Have you dealt with anything similar? I'm thinking it might be time to head to the doctor for some blood work. 🤷
Back when I went through my suicide attempt and overdosed on a massive amount of medication... I’ve been thinking a lot about Seroquel lately. It's one of those medications that really stays on your mind once you start using it.

I’ve decided to call one of our fellow forum members "Dragon Lady" because of how she managed to survive that ordeal with her medication. And honestly? I think I'll start calling you that too. 😁 Man, even 12.5 mg of this stuff—you know, the generic Quetiapine—absolutely wrecks me.

I personally survived 11 grams. Not milligrams. Grams. Ask Jesus how I pulled that off... it was a total disaster.

I read later that the drug is seriously messed up. Unlike Xanax, Norvasc, or whatever else is out there, it's way too easy to end things with this stuff...

My liver...

Milk Thistle... yeah, right. Total waste of time when it comes to liver support.
I've been popping them every single day since I started taking psych meds.

Back when I attempted suicide by overdosing on a massive amount of Zyprexa (don't go there... I've already posted about that in another thread), my liver enzymes were actually perfect two days later... everything in my bloodwork was spotless. Even the doctors were tripping out over how normal it looked.

I'm convinced it’s the Milk Thistle doing the heavy lifting.

How long does a hangout usually last? An hour or two?
Or it just depends on how much of a pain everyone is being 😁

Look, if I’m wearing flat boots, I’m standing at about 5'11".
If I throw on some heels, I’m pushing 6'3".
In the dark, though...
You guys can't pull a fast one on me if you try.

But you want to... don't you?... don't you really? 😵 😁

Don't push me. I actually snatched her pajamas. Just a little souvenir. They’re sitting right there in the closet now—freshly washed and perfectly pressed.
No way.

I feel terrible. I was the one who pushed for us all to get together, and then I ended up being a total no-show because my boss called me in at the very last second. On a Sunday.

I really am sorry.

Gerald Torres2 said:That's pretty much my experience too. I use Klonopin to calm down, but it doesn't actually sedate me; it just clears my head and makes me feel great. As for the Lamotrigine, I take 50 mg in the morning and 50 mg at night. I don't really "feel" it working, but it has definitely smoothed out my mood swings, which is a win in my book.🎉

Oh, absolutely... Klonopin totally clears the brain fog. Honestly, my ability to multitask probably jumps by like 300%. I can handle physical chores, process deep thoughts, and listen to five different people talking all at once without missing a beat.

Besides, I've always been a total ball of nervous energy. Probably because I skipped the crawling stage when I was a baby. 😁

fadedbear92 said:Actually, it's probably not the dehydration from that, but from the Seroquel. I used to take the real deal—Lamictal—which is a mood stabilizer, so that's why you feel "normal" instead of being hyper or hypo.
Now, instead, I'm on Klonopin.
From what I can tell, LeBron James doesn't typically cause frequent urination or dehydration.🤔

Why did you switch from Lamictal to Rivotril?

Rivotril works for me alongside Lamictal.
Even though they both act as stabilizers and fall under the anticonvulsant umbrella... Rivotril totally wires me up. I can barely sit still for three minutes.
The upside is my motor skills are actually great after I take it. I don't walk around looking like a newborn deer; I actually feel... sharp. Not sure how else to put it.

As for Lamictal, it’s just a solid, steady stabilizer.
