Chase Online in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Good afternoon,

So, I just received my new debit card in the mail and went ahead and activated it about half an hour ago, feeling quite ready to get things moving. I attempted to jump online to make a transaction—specifically to fund my Google Ads account—but unfortunately, the whole thing keeps failing, insisting that my details are incorrect, even though I am looking right at them and they are absolutely spot on. This leaves me wondering, does one typically have to wait a certain amount of time after activation before the card is actually functional for online use, or is it supposed to be instantaneous? Is there perhaps a necessary waiting period of a few hours before the system recognizes it?
Good afternoon, everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here might have some insight regarding the services or the reputation of this particular company:

Does anyone happen to know them?
Generic ink cartridges vs. refillable ink? in Computer Peripherals ·
Why on earth would anyone call it a wasted investment? From a user's perspective, it really boils down to one simple binary: either the machine functions or it doesn't. If it stops working, you naturally attempt to troubleshoot and fix the issue, but if the repairs prove to be impossible, then we arrive at that universal truth applicable to almost any piece of hardware—it simply isn't worth the cost of repair, so you might as well just go out and buy a brand-new unit instead...
But honestly, that's beside the point. Just tell me what the actual replacement cost for that specific printer would be, and let's leave it at that.
Generic ink cartridges vs. refillable ink? in Computer Peripherals ·
Hello there,

I’ve been wondering lately whether there is any way to track down some ink—whether we are talking about the official stuff, high-quality third-party replacements, or even just bulk ink for refilling—specifically designed for HP printers.
The exact models I am looking at are these:
http://www.amazon.de/Druckerpatronen...XI/ref=lh_ni_t
or perhaps
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+...7250&cp=1&lp=3

So, specifically regarding these HP printers:
Compatibility: HP Printers: 5100 All-in-One 5300 All-in-One 5500
ESP 3/ ESP 5/ ESP 7/ ESP 9/ ESP 3250/ ESP 5210/ ESP 5220/ ESP 5230/ ESP 5250/ ESP 6150/ ESP 7250/ ESP 9250 All-in-One

Does anyone know if there is a reliable way to pick up this ink here in the States? I am genuinely open to anything, be it budget-friendly compatible cartridges or even a kit to refill the existing ones myself.
Verbatim DVD-R (8.5GB) - Good deal? in Computer Peripherals ·
Good afternoon, everyone,

I’ve been wondering if anyone might know where I can track down some Verbatim double-layer DVD9 discs—the ones with that 8.5GB capacity—without being forced to buy them in those massive bulk packs, because I’m really just looking for a decent price on individual units or smaller quantities rather than a whole warehouse supply.
It’s quite frustrating because, from what I’ve seen at places like Best Buy, they only seem to stock them in these huge bundles, which ends up costing me about $40 per pack... I think there might be 10 inside each one, but honestly, I only have a need for maybe two of them, so buying the whole set feels like such a waste of money.
Best USB drives to buy right now? Recommendations wanted! in Computer Peripherals ·

Thanks, but I think I clearly misspoken myself there, truly; I was merely suggesting that when I clicked through to the link, all I could actually find was that specific USB drive...
The real question I am grappling with is whether there might be some other retailer out there somewhere that carries those versions with the diamond accents?

Good afternoon, everyone,

I truly believe this specific sub-forum is the most appropriate place to bring up such a niche topic.

To get straight to the point, I am on the hunt for some USB flash drives that lean more towards the "fancy" side of things—you know, something with a bit of flair, almost like a Swarovski accessory. For instance, take a look at these:

Now, because I am quite particular about having a valid warranty for peace of mind, I really need to find a brick-and-mortar retail store here in a major US city rather than just browsing random classified ads or shady online listings.
I did manage to find a couple of options on google.com, but they only carry two different styles, both limited to 4GB capacity, priced at around $50...
I also happened to spot an ad for something somewhat similar featuring embedded diamonds, an 8GB model going for $27... so, I was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a reputable shop that carries these kinds of high-end, decorative drives?

If you’re talking about those protein powders from CVS—around $15 if I recall correctly, unflavored, 10oz bags—then by all means, go ahead and buy them!
All this nonsense about soy content and whatever else is just pure distraction; they are every bit as high-quality as the stuff labeled MVP or Aminostar.
The real issue stems from a few years back when there were some cheap, low-grade proteins on the market that were basically just glorified mass gainers, but those were pulled from the shelves ages ago, so plenty of people are still operating under the false assumption that they're the same thing today.

hmmm... yeah, those are exactly the ones I was thinking about, and actually ended up buying...
I don't particularly favor powders, to be honest, preferring whole foods instead, but I usually manage to hit about 40 grams of protein daily through natural sources, so I was wondering if using a powder to bump that up to maybe 60 or 75 grams would be wise... which is why I asked if that CVS brand is the way to go (assuming it's the cheapest option available, unless maybe MusclePharm has something better?) or if I should just avoid powders entirely and try to squeeze even more protein out of my diet to get closer to that 60-75 gram mark?!

Good afternoon,

I’ve been hearing through the grapevine that I really ought to be aiming for roughly 200 grams of protein every single day, but since there are those inevitable days where life just gets in the way and I simply can't manage to hit that 200-gram mark through whole foods alone, I was seriously considering just picking up the most budget-friendly powder available... and looking at what they have over at Walmart, I see they have some options for about $13 300g. So, I wanted to reach out and ask if that would actually be a decent move? Or would it be more sensible to just settle for a lower total protein intake rather than relying on that cheap powder?
And if I might be so bold as to ask, how old are you now? And how long have you actually been dealing with AHALAZIJA?
In other words, I am curious to know just how many years passed while you were living with AHALAZIJA before you finally decided to undergo surgery.
Good afternoon, everyone,

I was wondering if any of you have gone ahead and moved forward with surgery yet? If so, I’m really curious about which specific procedure you opted for—since there are several different methods out there, I’d love to know what you actually had done and whether you’re feeling any better now. Also, have you reached a point where you can go back to eating everything again?

Greetings,

So, I’ve finally managed to pull everything together—got my foreign currency account and my Visa Electron set up over at Bank of America, and I even successfully activated my PayPal account. Everything is officially up and running.

However, I’ve hit a bit of a point of confusion regarding this rule about imports, specifically where it mentions that customs duties aren't charged on items valued under $53. What does that actually entail in practice? I mean, what kind of timeframe are we talking about here? Is it possible for me to just hop online right now and order a thousand different packages, as long as each individual one stays under the $53 mark, without ever worrying about customs fees? And does this apply to all other types of goods as well? Am I essentially looking at an unlimited ability to order a certain number of packages every single day, provided they stay beneath the $53 threshold, or is there some other way the authorities look at these regulations?!
