It's been 10 years since I last sat in a dentist's chair, and now things have reached a critical point.😢
I just need someone with enough patience to actually do the job right this time...

kijunimi mentioned that dr. Turner performed a procedure on them under total anesthesia. Does that mean you're just out cold while they work? Because that sounds like the dream to me...🙂

Edit: Actually, realized it probably isn't full general anesthesia, given the potential complications...

For the last two years, my billing cycle always seemed to wrap up on the 15th... and sure, the money would leave my account on the 15th too, but it wouldn't be for the *following* month. Basically, I was getting a full month's grace period.

Here’s how things look over at Edgar:

-then, suddenly, the notification date gets pushed to July 16th, even though the actual payment amount hasn't changed:

Oh, right... I totally blanked on the most important part: JPMorgan Chase...

So, here's the deal... Up until now, my billing cycle always worked like this:

Whatever I spent between June 15th and July 15th would show up on my bill by August 15th.
The statement would generate on July 15th.

But today? Today I get hit with a bill covering:
June 15th to July 15th AND July 16th to August 5th!!!

And now, the next statement isn't even scheduled to generate until September 5th, with payment due September 15th.

Which means my billing period has suddenly shifted from the 15th to the 5th, and I've lost ten days of breathing room—it used to be a full month!

WTF???
And they didn't even bother to send out a single notification about this...

I actually went and dug through the terms of service, and it says the charges hit the account ten days after the statement is generated...

Is this some new thing? Some brilliant new "anti-recession measure" they're pulling?

I see they have options for the HP Envy series too.

From what I can gather, the HP Envy series and the HP DeskJet series are pretty much in the same league when it comes to price and performance. Which one would you suggest if my main concern is how easy it is to refill the ink?

And could you walk me through that part about tossing a printer even when there’s still ink left in it? What does that actually mean in practice? Like, after how many refills do you start seeing a massive drop in print quality? Wouldn't it be way easier to just buy the official ink cartridges and then refill those instead?

I’m on the hunt for a printer that actually includes a scanner, and I need to keep the price somewhat reasonable. I'm not looking for anything professional grade here. Just something that lets me print out a drawing or a photo on decent photo paper every once in a while. And the scanner? It needs to actually work—you know, produce something that looks like an actual image and not just digital noise.

Mainly, I'll be printing pictures. (I've already got a laser printer for my black and white stuff.)
Think family vacation snaps or maybe some "art" I whip up in Photoshop or Illustrator.

But here’s the real kicker, the absolute dealbreaker: it has to have cheap third-party ink or refill kits available. Honestly, I don't mind getting my hands a little dirty. It would be amazing if there's a model where I can just buy ink bottles and refill it myself. I refuse to deal with that feeling of watching my money vanish into thin air every single time I hit "print."

If you could suggest a model and maybe drop a (link) for where to grab the ink, that would be huge. I need to run the numbers and see if this actually makes sense...

Seriously, I’m with you on Daphne!!!
I don't even live anywhere near that bakery, but honestly? I’d hop in my car right this second just to grab one of those pizzas, a mini burek, or that chocolate pastry... man, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
It’s hands down the only bakery in all of New York City where everything actually tastes good!

If anyone out there actually knows a better spot, please, let me hear it... I'll believe it when I see it.

It’s like walking up to a stranger and asking, "Hey guys, give me a recommendation for a scent that'll remind me of summer." My first instinct would be freshly cut grass, but who knows? By the next day, that smell is already gone.

If I hit a Chase $667 (Visa) ATM at 4:00 PM, when am I actually cleared to withdraw again?
